Always a great experience dining at Los Cabaleros! Each of our three entrees were prepared perfectly, and the wines and dessert were excellent. Our server Festina was awesome as usual!

The views were nice. The setting was very romantic for a date night. The calamari was undercooked for our appetizer. The bread was warm on the outside the very cold in the inside. My wife’s chicken enchiladas were not good. She did not finish the meal. I had the salmon tacos, which they were OK. I did finish them. I think the part that bothered me about the whole experience was service. Gratuity was already included in the check. I did not catch it on the bill and ended up tipping an additional $38 for a tip that was already included of $28. I called the restaurant and asked if they can reimburse the $38 tip. Quite frankly, my wife and I were not happy with the meal. We did have a nice night out, but felt very deceived by the check. When asked if we could get the $38 credited back to my account, I was told by Mariah that they already closed out the checks and there was nothing that they could do. I asked to speak to the manager, which is Kevin Penny. I was told by Mariah that I am new and we don’t get but minimum wage here and we see very little of that gratuity. It was almost like she was justifying the whole situation because it felt very deceptive with including a gratuity for a party of only two people. I do not recommend this place in anyway. The food was below standard and the servers were deceptive with the way they handled that service gratuity. The place was very romantic and my wife and I did enjoy that part of the evening.

My husband and I went there for a late dinner on 2/12 as we were on vacation and was recommended the restaurant. We have dined at many fine dining restaurants before, including chef tastings and this place absolutely stands up with those! The food, service, cocktails, ambiance, etc. was all above par and not we expected. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable of the food and drinks. He even recommended a great digestive cocktail after dinner that was amazing! Highly recommend The 19 to anyone visiting the Wickenburg area.
