Went to their Mothers Day buffet brunch. We initially booked it at 2pm but later, found out more tables opened up. But the reception never confirmed if we can go earlier since there was a $30 booking deposit - didn't want to book it again for another $30 and find out I could not get the other $30 back. So we ended up going at our original time at 2pm, which was fine by us. That was the last session of the day and as expected, the food selection was scarce and not to the quality where it should be. Ran out of oysters (1/4 of the size of normal chucked oysters), egg bennies were warm but dried up because it was left out for so long, none of the food was covered so all the warm food were dry and the charcuterie spread was a mess - yes, like 50 people had gone through it already. We stuck to the stations - pasta and prime rib slices - along with whatever was left of the cold spread like shrimp, smoked salmon and tuna poke mix (no rice). All-in-all, definitely not worth the $90 (with gratuity) per person. Should have hoped over to the Fairmont or Sheraton. The atmosphere is good though. I think it would be a great spot for dinner or brunch with the family or for a date. Don't drive down there on a Sunday as there is always a protest of some sort. Park across the street at the Fairmont and avoid the crowd at the front of the Art Gallery.

We were the only group seated outside so we didn’t get the best service, but it picked up later on. Food was great as usual and moms got a great free drink for Mother’s Day. Would have been nice to sit in the booth but apparently dogs are only allowed on PART of the patio, not all of it.

We booked for a 6 person table for my birthday and couldn't have been happier. Food and service were excellent. Table was ready when we arrived and we didn't feel rushed at all. Lovely bright venue and convenient to get to.

This is the first time dining here since they changed their concept. I think it was ok . The room is inviting and sunny . Looks like they have a lovely patio for warmer days . We made a reservation for 11:30 on Saturday. I liked that the menu offered breakfast and lunch items . Gave everyone a choice . Quite varied menu . My friend had the standard breakfast. It looked fine . I had the seafood chowder. It was good but not the best I’ve had , It did have lots of good size chunks of salmon in it . Really skimpy portion of bread alongside however. The teen girls shared the charcuterie platter . Looks decent with some good meat but cheese selections was quite ordinary . Maybe good for kids but not adults with deserving tastes . The server was sweet but I asked a few questions about the menu and she really had no idea what anything consisted of . I would have ordered the octopus which I love but when I asked how it was prepared she answered “ cooked in oven “ product knowledge is so important. How can you sell something when you don’t know anything about it . Even if you have a language barrier, keep some notes handy . Drip coffee needs improvement. All in all it was fine .

I have eaten here often and always enjoyed it, but the noise level this time was really awful and made conversation difficult.
