A16 is offering offsite catering and private events at this time.A16 restaurant is named for the highway connecting Campania to Puglia and the menu is rooted in the rustic traditions of these lively southern Italian regions. The bar features traditional and modern cocktails and a wide selection of amaro. The A16 Pizza Truck is a restored 1959 Jeep Willys FC170 with our wood burning oven mounted on the back. This little truck can produce wood fired pizza for events ranging in size from intimate house parties to major music festivals. We can also prepare a variety of antipasti, salumi, salads, roasted meats, cocktails, and wines from our award winning list. Just let us know what you’d like, and we love to drive over and make it all happen!

Check in at door was chaotic but we did not have to wait more than 10 minutes for our table at 7pm on Saturday which was good. Wait staff all friendly and service good. However, one main course was not delivered with the others and this is not the first time. I keep going back because the food is so great.

Ate outside. Lovely, private table. Great service. Surprised by how underseasoned the food was. The dessert (a chocolate tart) had a great flavor but was quite overbaked. Enjoyed the overall experience, but at this price point, I would expect excellent food quality and it was only just ok.

I have gone to A16 for years. The service we had ( sitting outside w/ a waiter from Naples) was ABYSMAL. Late water, slow to bring drinks and food, promised bread that never came........ To have a mandatory 20% gratuity added to the bill added salt to the wound. You have lost a customer and I will spread the wordk.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and cocktails and wine are superb. Highly recommend for any occasion, really just a fun place for people of all ages. Not sure it’s great for young kids, but definitely family friendly. The Montenara pizza and fried castelvetrano olives are a must.

Great experience all around. We sat in bar chairs with a view of the pros in the kitchen working two wood ovens. Our waiter John was very knowledgeable and helpful.

A great place to meet friends for dinner; outside sitting is a great option. We enjoyed great food, the appetizers, pizza and trout were delicious. I loved the beans in the chile oil seasoning - will mimic the recipe! I would liked to see an expanded list of cocktails and wines. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed a great conversation with them, too! Thanks! Diana

One of the worst dinning experiences I have ever had! We invited friends for dinner. 2 couples. Each couple happened to order the same thing, a pizza and a steak with sauce on the side for the steak. Only one steak came and it was very overcooked. This was manageable, but o fortunately it had so much salt it was not edible. The sauce was also sweet and not good. This is a very expensive restaurant and this type of thing should not happen. We have eaten there before and it was OK, but nothing special. We will not be going to this restaurant again. I recommend that you stay away from this place.

Constructive criticism would be to add coat hooks to counter seating since there is no back to the stools on which to put your coat or handbag, and no coat checking was offered. There was one coat hook for 6 stools? They're not very expensive. The waitperson couldn't seem to pour the $8 "sparkling" water into a glass which is only $6/bottle on the website menu? Glad to see they are not buying bottled sparkling water, but $8 for in-house sparkling water? $.50 worth went onto the counter which I mopped up and had to request a fresh napkin. 20% gratuity mandated? The food is always good, but there are other options where the food is good. grazie!

Excellent Neopolitan style pizza. Although the pizza was a little crusty on my last visit (compared to previous visits and other comparable pizzas in the bay area). The sauce on the margherita is to die for. Decent service. They add a 20% gratuity by default.

Pizza crust is incredible but I don’t recommend the flavor combos on the Funghi pizza. The burrata was meh. Very firm and unlike burrata. Salad was bland but edible with salt and pepper. Disappointed as I like the one in the city.

Had a great meal! Was happy to see the pasta was on the menu since it’s been hit and miss when they offer it lately. The fried squash blossoms and octopus appetizer were both perfectly prepared and the the pizza and roasted trout were SO GOOD!!! We got the wax beans-tasty and the corn side dish, also tasty but would have preferred it off the cob. The blueberry dessert was the perfect size, not overwhelming and well balanced. Our server was attentive and the pacing was great. Will be back soon!

Great customer service from checking in and leaving the restaurant. The summer squash risotto was excellent. The sorbetto was amazing, but the blueberry cristalina was a little dry. The music they were playing wasn’t in harmony with the ambience. Wished they payed attention to this detail. We’ll come back again.

We sat at the bar as we were there so early. The bartender and one of the waiters were so helpful in picking glasses of wine. The meatball starter was nice. We ordered the mushroom truffle oil pizza--way to heavy on the truffle oil. Too Overbearing. We should have ordered the pasta and a salad. Next time.
