The menu offers a variety of dazzling flavors, styles and ingredients. All beverages from cocktails to mocktails are made with the freshest of ingredients, and are all made from scratch. The beverages are enlivening and expertly seasoned with flavors from East India.
Worst service! Avoid at all cost . Your order will all be messed, missed. Quality of food is not good and expensive. There are better choices in Tyson
Food was very disappointing - quite bland and boring.
Celebrated a birthday, my party size doubled but American Tandoor made it work, the atmosphere was great! Food was delicious- I just wished they would have brought more drinks and refilled water faster.
I was really impressed with American Tandoor - it was a good menu with small plate selections - gave us an opportunity to sample a number of things. The food was very nicely done- not like some other Indian lunches - no buffet with goopy sauces and unrecognizable food. This was very good, including crispy kale palak which I love. Will be happy to go back and try more!
Terrible food and terrible service. I've had lots of Indian curry in my time, and this was the worst I've ever had. The chicken tikka masala did not taste like it should. The service was late and poor. My food arrived 30 minutes after everyone else's, and the waiter brought anything we asked for after we no longer needed them. Really bad. I do not recommend.
I love this place. The service was great. I would recommend anyone to try this place. I drive over an hour to come to this restaurant
We went there for dinner. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Lamb Raan and zeera aloo. The Lamb Raan was thoroughly cooked and good with spices. However, the Biryani was bland in taste. The presentation was nice but the lack of spice in the dish made it not good. If they can ask what level of spice we want at the time of ordering, then it could help make the experience better. The zeera aloo also was more aloo than zeera aloo. Add more zeera to it.
What could make the experience better is to add either a pallette cleanser/starter.
They should at least offer complimentary raita or sauce with the biryani. For the value of the dishes, it would make sense to offer this at least.
The drinks though were very nice and well presented.
Made a reservation for 930pm. When we got there had to wait a while at the hostess station before anyone came to greet us (waitresses and other staff looked over from time to time). When someone finally came over and I told them I had a reservation at 930 and they acted surprised and asked if I was told that they closed at 10. Upon sitting, the waitress told me that the kitchen was closing in 10 min. Food was good, but I felt rushed and unwelcome.
awesome per usual. staff were very friendly and attentive. we are everything we ordered.
Ambiance, food (yummm) and service was great! Definitely will be coming back often.
Made advanced reservation through open table. I clearly stated that we wanted booth. Upon arrival we are told they don’t have booth and we opted for a regular table. We just sat at the table and a booth got vacated and we immediately asked for it. We were told that someone already waiting on it.
I see no point in making reservation thru opentable.
Very good food, and nicely arranged! And the service was great!
Creative and flavorful! If you love Indian spices but want American cuisine options in addition to the traditional options, this is the place for you. Their hand-crafted mocktails are DIVINE!
very poor service and food taste is mix of indian and American blend. There should be straightness for taste for food lovers.
Thank you American Tandoor for the excellent food and service. The best!!
Food options for vegetarians were limited. Service was not great. Definitely there is good room for improvement.
Perfect ambience, with good food. Great arrangements for winters with heaters and red lights. Great for hookah and food evenings.
Went for the Sunday brunch buffet. Waffles were delicious but lukewarm - the soft, whipped butter didn't melt even a bit. The omelet made to order was great - spicy! (Note: no meat available as an omelet option.) Then everything else was straight Indian food (other than desserts). Missed having a breakfast meat - a chicken sausage Indian spiced would have been great. Service was not good - rarely came to check on us, I had to beg another waiter to refill our water...twice. After our 1st plate, we got up for 2nd plate and when we got back, they had removed everything (our bread, silverware, napkins, etc.) and we had to ask for everything back. Again, just want to mention that the waiter hardly EVER came by to check on us - that was disappointing. But we enjoyed our food and our conversation so that was good.
This is typical mall food and even then it was below my expectations. I have been before and thought the food was decent but it’s really not worth the cost. There are many other places to eat in the mall that has better food and some much cheaper. The flavor is bland and ingredients taste like they may have been frozen or made from pre mixed batches. Even the naan was bland. We’ll stick to our local Indian restaurant when we’re in the mood for this cuisine or Rasika when we want to be blown away.
I love love love love American Tandoor! I go here for Happy Hour ALL THE TIME, because the deals are too good to pass up. The quality and taste of the food is perfect (I'm Indian and really picky about eating restaurant Indian food, so trust me I know what I'm saying)! I made reservations to have my Birthday Dinner here and they treated me like gold. I highly recommend it!
Was really looking forward to trying this place; ut it seriously underwhelmed. Calamari was chewy and either overcooked or old, all the dishes with medium spice were pretty darn spicy (even for my wife, who lives on spicy dishes), and foods like their special butternut squash korma was so heavily flavored with Cardamom, I couldn't taste anything else. The Naan was also dry and brittle. Only 2 items we liked were the stuffed Paratha, and the Raita app, which was really good. Left hungry cause we werent thrilled with the food, and ate later.
The food was mediocre. Not a ton of veggie options. Even the veggie tawa dish was ok at best. If you're craving good punjabi food, I would pass on this restaurant. I think its meant to cater non-Indians more. I'm a vegetarian so couldn't speak to the meat dishes. I don't plan on coming back.
Very good Indian food for a mall. We come here regularly with my daughter who doesn't appreciate more spicy and exotic Indian food. Definitely preferable to the food court. Had a very friendly and attentive server.
Appreciate getting my water glass filled even after paying the bill. Such a simple thing many servers avoid doing during those situations when the conversation lingers longer than expected. Didn't feel rushed to leave but it wasn't crowded either, so it was win win. Thanks.
It was a surprise birthday party.. and yes it was successfully done .
Great food, sort of noisy, unusually high wine corkage fee.
Eating here is always a great experience. Consistently good food, good service, pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Very good value for money.
Terrible experience this time around. Servers were more interested in the world cup then customers. Only one waited appeared to be handling all of the tables. This was by far the worst service I ever experienced. The food was subpar as well and there were flies flying around the entire establishment and onto our food and no one seemed to care!
The food was great and I really felt that the waiter did an excellent job in explaining the food to my wife.
Recommendation to friend will depend on who, non Asian yes, Asian no, food is not authentic. It is conveniently located, free parking, good ambiance, but none of the entrees are exceptional or creative.
Its a great place for the whole family the food was delicious
everything was good! had a good experience till we received the check..first there was a mistake with additional item on the bill..i informed it to the waitress and she got it corrected but in the corrected bill they add grutuity for just 4 of us when on the bill it self it clearly says gruatuity will be added for 6 or more...and it was 20% gratuity for just 4 people! I did not raise it again as it was already late and decided to pay and leave. Felt it was a cheap tactic on behalf of whoever made the bill to collect additional money one way or the other.
Took mom here for Mother's Day. I had a reservation and the table was not ready. Instead, they wiped a dirty table right in front of the open kitchen where the noise level was at its peak and the hostess insisted we sit there, despite another table in a better location being free. I asked why we couldn't sit at that other table and was told "it's reserved" (you can't make this stuff up). Fast forwarding, the manager stepped in and was SUPER nice. We were seated outside. The food itself was ok. Nothing spectacular. There was a wide selection at the buffet but most of the food lacked flavor. The fish curry was totally bland and there were no real Indian desserts. Waffles, omelets and smores do not mix well with butter chicken and paneer. The brunch is definitely overpriced.
Went for Mothers day brunch and had a great time. Lots of options for all to enjoy. Great Waffles
The food is wonderful - best Butter Chicken I've had. Vegetarian options abound! The new items are interesting and delicious.
We were new to Indian food and our waitress was fantastic about explaining everything. She made the occasion fun.
Food is authentic and great! The only thing is that every time we have come, we feel the side dishes keep getting smaller in size! Veggies and lentils should be served in a decent amount for a family of 8.
The 2 stars for the staff and server because they were very nice and the service was good. The food was not good so good and overly priced for the taste. I do not recommend this place at all!
Great service and great food
A nice mall restaurant for Americanized Indian food. It's good for the buttered chicken, the kids like it, and it's nice for what it is. Not the more exotic, spicy Indian food that my wife and I prefer, but one doesn't always get to go where one wants. Happy the kids find this Indian food desirable, so that's a win compared to other mall food.
we went there and as soon as we got to the hostess they were just sitting and very relaxed. From there we were guided to our table and the menu selection has options but the food was not that great, it was an average experience for a high price.
