(🇺🇸 lincoln square • chicago )ardor by chance • grilled seafood platter $26 • filet mignon $58 • lamb chops • pink ticket $14 • lincoln lush $14 a little steak and seafood night in lincoln square 🥩🍸 stopped by ardor by chance, a neighborhood restaurant serving everything from steaks and seafood to cocktails. we started with the grilled seafood platter, featuring scallops, shrimp, clams, and calamari in a cajun butter sauce. the seafood was fresh, and i really loved the sauce! a great way to try a little bit of everything from the sea. for mains, we went with the lamb chops and filet mignon. the lamb chops were especially tender, and the filet was really good too. we also tried the pink ticket and lincoln lush cocktails 🍸 fruity and refreshing. really liked the atmosphere here, with a nice setting for a relaxed dinner. a lovely spot for a steak and seafood night, whether it’s a date night or catching up with friends in lincoln square. 📍 4624 n lincoln ave, chicago, il 60625 ☎️ 773-312-6497 🔗 ardorchicago.com #kalvineats🇺🇸chicago #lincolnsquarechicago #chicagofood #chicagosteakhouse lincoln square eats • chicago steak and seafood • chicago date night • chicago restaurants • chicago cocktails • neighborhood restaurants chicago

Ardor is a lovely restaurant located just north of Wilson on Lincoln. Although the tables have white table clothes, this is not a $$$$ restaurant. The restaurant is cleverly decorated and has casual astmophere. The menu is while simple it is diverse with a few vegan and vegatarian offerings, one example being a beet salad. The short rib risotto and the seafood (seafood platter, Fruittide Mare) are excellent. The deserts are worth the extra calories. The wine list has some excellent choices by the glass or bottle. On Thursday's there is live Jazz.

Food and Sunday night jazz was amazing! Our server was a oddly aggressive and quite gruff, but other than that - beautiful space and lovely patio!

Ardor is a great addition to Lincoln Avenue. Good food, good bar and wine selection, great service, beautiful inside. It was full when we went, which is a good sign. We had the seafood platter and a wedge salad. Seafood was very fresh and good. Salad excellent. Great place to go before a Davis film or an Old Town concert. Keep up the good work!

What a wonderful restaurant! Sophisticated European influence w/ banquettes and high tops, a 3 piece jazz group, lovely wine list, and food choices for all . We dined prior to an Old Town School of Folk Music concert, will be going back again!

Pleasant atmosphere, lovely decor, not noisy (but there was hardly anyone there at 9 pm on a weeknight). We were not impressed by the service: we were not greeted or served with any enthusiasm, the server went through the specials much too quickly and didn't offer prices, and we waited a long time for our food. One guest found his pizza salty. The unusual bread offering when we sat down was very tasty. The restaurant's main advantage to my mind is its being close to the Davis and open late all week.

Nice quiet spot in Lincoln Square with excellent food, the menu is not huge (thank goodness, some have gotten out of control) but it's perfectly varied, and the dishes we've had the sevearl times we've been have been excellent. Solid wine list too, and great craft cocktails.
