   Went to this place on recommendation for a birthday dinner with a large group. It was a week night and they didn’t seem to be prepared for large group dining, even though there were only a few other small tables seated. The food was excellent but the service was very slow. Despite requesting additional service assistance from the manager, the drinks and food were exceptionally slow. The chef came out personally to apologize and offer additional food to be sent out after speaking to another manager but the group had already decided to move on after being there for 2 hours. The ambience was great, may try it again with a smaller group.

   The food was excellent, only missing a little acid to break up the richness but really good. The sourdough appetizer was the best sourdough I’ve ever had and don’t skip the roasted garlic honey it is ridiculously good.

   The food was delicious. I had the chocolate pancakes and ice tea. Highly recommend the bacon bites, so good! Our server Daniel was humorous and very attentive. We ate outside on the patio, the weather was perfect. Inside is adorable and it would've been delightful as well. There is a large outdoor fireplace with a very large table in front of it. Perfect for an evening dinner party. We ate brunch on Father's Day.

   We went to celebrate father’s day, the food was great but it did take a while to get to our table which I would understand if the place was packed but there were only a few tables and they seem to have enough employees. Other than that we loved our experience at Arlo. P.S. It is a resort so maybe they had a lot of orders going to the pool area.

   This is my second time coming here. I thought I’d give it a second try because the first time we were waiting for what seems to be a long time before somebody came to finally take our order. I feel we were left out the first time & also this second time. I will not be coming back.

   Brunch food was not very family friendly. Quiche was too savory for a brunch meal during the summer it was more of a winter hardy meal. Chocolate chip pancakes were really dry and crumbly. Bacon fritters were to mushy. No regular breakfast items available, limited choices. Salmon toast was the best part of the meal and kids liked the hashbrown fritters fun chrunchy squares.

   Outside ambience lovely and relaxing. Service very good. Food beautifully presented, but brunch menu was way too trendy and weird. Not one dish resembling normal brunch type fare for anyone less adventurous or with any food issues/allergies. Way too many fried items. Will go back sometime and try dinner menu, not sure would go back for brunch.

    My wife, young daughter and I went to the restaurant expecting to get a fine meal but we weren't sure what my daughter would be able to eat off of the menu. We were so happy they offer a kids menu and my daughter loved their cheese pizza. We also started with the Arlo Sourdough, which is possibly the best Sourdough bread I've ever had. I had the Maple Leaf Duck and my wife had Maple Halibut and we both thought they were delicious. Our drinks were fantastic too. Overall, a fantastic meal!

    We ordered the salmon toast, potato salad and bacon fritters and everything was delicious. We received a complimentary glass of Prosecco and had each a Bellini. One with grapefruit and one with Cherrie, both very refreshing. Our server was great, she was on top of everything and super smiley. I would highly recommend this place for Sunday brunch.

    The ambiance was excellent. We visited this restaurant for the first time, and we enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the menu options were minimal. I'm not sure if this is the menu every day or just on Sunday, but we had a great time.

    The waitress claimed the restaurant didn’t let them taste the food, so she had no recommendations- which I thought odd. Other than that everything was great. I’ve never had a meal here I didn’t like! So good!!!

    Some of the food was cold. Had to ask for salt & pepper shakers. Had to ask for spoons. Buffet was expensively priced for what was provided. Had to pay $25.00 extra for a two year to have a buffet fruit cup.

    We had the opportunity to try Arlo for Mother’s Day brunch. The brunch was wonderful as each food item was made exceptionally well. Usually at a buffet there are many options but the quality of the food is not always the greatest. Not so at Arlo, there was a perfect amount of choices and with your choices the food was made well and with care. Carving station was delicious, many options with sauce and the carver provided great service. Salad station, seafood station, breakfast station, warm food station and dessert station. They even had a kid section and lowered it so that children can see their options. Our waitress provided excellent service. The ambience and outside tables were wonderful and so was the inside, anywhere you sat you had a great view. They even had a live person playing music. Momma was happy, I highly recommend for Mother’s Day brunch.

    I wanted Mother's Day brunch with my daughter to be amazing & it just wasn't. Our server was sweet but slow & inattentive (and this was a buffet.) We waited nearly 10 minutes after the hostess sat us before being acknowledged & it truly was NOT crowded. I work in the industry and am patient and understanding. Perhaps because we there were only a few occupied tables outside, we were forgotten? Staff inside were friendly and helpful, especially because nothing was labeled. Guests were pretty vocal about that. But it was an exciting surprise with each lift of the lid. lol Decor was and ambiance was great. Loved the Anchorman portrait & the throwback Padres stuff. Dirty plates remained on the table as staff walked by us; toddler sized "complimentary mimosa" was insulting to moms everywhere & maybe I just couldn't get past that. lol It was nice to finally see Town & Country all renovated at least. Maybe ARLO knocks it out of the park on other days/nights but yesterday was a pretty big flop.

    Had difficulties making reservations. I received a text message announcing the availability of a Mothers' Day brunch, but when I tried to make a reservation, the response was that all tables were already booked. I subsequently received a message that more tables were opened up. When we went, the restaurant on only about 1/4 full. The food was great (albeit some of the pre-prepared food was cold). Carver for the roast beef was extremely friendly and customer oriented.

    The sourdough bread appetizer was delicious. The beet root entree lacked complexity and could have used a mash or risotto under it. The maple halibut had good flavor but the pumpkin gnocchi was very dense and dry and there were only three. The sauce was delicious.

    First time here for the 4 of us and very impressed. We came early on a Saturday evening for dinner. Ate outdoors with a heater. The whole redo/ambiance is great. Service was perfect. We had the Queen Bee cocktail and wine - excellent. Flatbreads, seafood plate and pork dish- 4/5. Loved the wild mushroom flatbread and cold shrimp chorizo. Will definitely come back.

    Presentation was wonderful, and the sourdough bread is not to be missed. The pizza was a salt bomb (still feeling it the next day), and the halibut was ok, but nothing special. The broccolini was tasty, but lukewarm at best.

    Easter Brunch- enjoyed the live action stations (Tri tip, hash and hollandaise, yum!) but the maitre-d hesitantly warned that the kitchen was down staff. Really? On Easter?! The thing that kept us, was our server Miles! We watched as at least 2 tables left upset for the wait on the kitchen to get out their food. Miles was kind and attempted to accommodate which we fully appreciated. The experience took 2 hours for us from start to finish; we were on vacation from Northern California and have not seen anything quite like this before. Hard to recommend ARLO’s based on the kitchen chaos but Miles is a keeper and the reason that we stayed. He wanted the best for his diners. Cheers Miles on all that you do with your career!

    We came for the Easter Brunch. All we had was the food off the 2 stations due to the kitchen being backed up. We waited for almost 2 hrs and no food came out. We paid for the drinks we had and left. I was very disappointed. The waiter apologized but I saw no manager in site.

    Went for the Easter special menu. Requested a table outside but was told they were all booked. The 2.5 hrs we were there plenty remained open. One couple walked in and requested an outside table and got it, despite not booking one specifically. We were warned they were running exceptionally behind time which we didn’t mind (despite having 2 under 2 to try and amuse). Our server was really awful, ignored us, lacked any people skills. Just a simple apology and thanks for our patience would have gone a long way. Perhaps offer a drink on the house whilst waiting? I saw other servers seems very nice so must have just been ours. Fruit plate and Brie to start was small and lacked anything creative. Starters could have also had more care put into them. Main meals were both delicious and the desserts were AMAZING. Had a nice time but that was due to spending time with my husband and two LO’s, nothing really to do with the restaurant. Wouldn’t go back again.
