    The staff provided exceptional service and happily fulfilled all of our dietary requests. They took the time to explain the ingredients in each dish, ensuring that everyone felt comfortable with their choices. Throughout the meal, they checked in frequently, making sure our glasses were full and our plates were cleared promptly. Thank you for making our night super!     Bit of a disaster from start to finish! ASCUA is part of the Intercontinental hotel and a fire alarm had recently gone off so when we arrived food was not being served. We were shown to our table and ordered drinks, wine came quickly but a gin & soda took 25 minutes (this was removed from the final tab). Service resumed after fire alarm incident and we ordered 3 entrees including bread and butter, 40 minutes later no entrees, apparently as the service resumed our order got lost! Shortly after bread arrived, then another 10 minutes to entrees. During the wait for entrees main order was taken and we ordered the 1.4kg tomahawk and all 3 sides. Before we had finished entrees the tomahawk arrived and the entrees were hastily removed! No sides ever arrived? The tomahawk while shown as a prime cut was extremely fatty (at least 200 - 300g of fat) and came with a small side salad and two sauces for $322 ($23 per 100g) now I’m happy with that as a prime cut but not when about 300g is fat (and a fair bit of bone weight too). At this point the wine was also removed from the bill. This is the 4th experience here and previous visits have always been very positive but this was a big letdown, especially as we were hosting a client! Total Bill was $450 for a very underwhelming experience! Sorry ASCUA you need to do better.

    Really enjoyed the food and service. If I was to nit pick, it would be the wine glass. It had the most smudge marks I'd ever seen, could've asked for another wine glass but didn't want to be a bother as our dinner was also time sensitive. Other than that, the steak was cooked to perfection 👌🏽

    These guys made our anniversary magic. The dark atmosphere is beautiful and intimate. Service and food was outstanding. They even wrote special messages in chocolate on our dessert plates to help us celebrate.

    I booked this for my partner's Birthday and the whole evening was so special. We got seated in a booth and the ambience felt intimate and personal. Our servers were attentive and professional. We shared Oysters and the Tomahawk steak (requested Medium-rare and cooked perfectly); both were delicious and perfect for two people. If you are looking for a lovely intimate relaxing evening this is a perfect choice, where you are made to feel relaxed and cared for.
