Our first visit to Avellino’s will not be our last . The service was great, and the owners and family were hands on. The meals were priced right and tasty. A daily specials menu was creative and one person from our party tried and enjoyed an entree from that menu while the rest of us ordered from the regular menu. The dining room was full and the room was not loud. Many people came in to pick up but the dining room is separate from the pick up area so we were not disturbed by the coming and going. We were too full for dessert so cannot comment on that.

Had a reservation, but waited 40 min to be seated. They offered free glass of wine which was appreciated. And they were very apologetic. Food was delicious. Wait was forgotten after first forkful. But if you're in a rush... Book early time. (Our res was 7:30).

The food is traditional Italian food. At out table there were two chicken parm dinners ordered, one salmon and one eggplant dish.

Several of the disheses at Avellino’s were superb; others not so good ranging from adequate to just plain awful. Truly a mixed bag so to speak. The seared scallops I ordered was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten.
