This was our first time going to Baar Baar and it was UH-MAY-ZING!!!! Took my dad to celebrate his birthday and we enjoyed the food! The service was great as well!! Highly Recommend! Will be going back soon!

The ambience is good. A perfect place in downtown to go for a date with an Indian cuisine. You need to have a big pocket and a small appetite to enjoy thoroughly.

Been here a couple of times. Outstanding was the food and the service. Drinks were fun and spot on. The small plates were delicious and the entree ( biryani) were top notch. Whats not to like at this place. Keep dishing out new recipes guys !!!

I have been here three tone and this was my worse experience. The host was beyond rude and didn’t set out party where we asked despite the Ben he being not full. Was unhelpful and just mean. Also our waiter once the place started getting busy and as unresponsive and we wait 30mins for dessert order and the bill. Love the food and supporting my Indian people. But based on this last experience will think twice about returning

Exquisite food and service. First time visit but not the last. Duck Tacos are the best and you could be happy eating only them. Butter chicken was very good with the rice and naan. BUT those tacos!! Service was very attentive and old school. Really loved those tacos!

Wonderful dinner and great friendly staff. We shared the Dani Puri, Goat Birria tacos, paneer pinwheels, lamp chop kebabs and some rice & naan. All delicious and we can’t wait to come back and try more things

Not sure if I’d call it chefy Indian or Cal-Indian but I would call it very delicious. The room is swanky, the drinks fun, the service spot on. We came after a matinee at the music center but is it well worth a trip in its own right. I’ll be back, we barely scratched the menu and there’s at least 10 more dishes I want to eat. Baar Baar is yumyum.

First time patron at Baar Baar for my wife’s birthday with two adult children. We ordered seven items. Every item was extraordinary with different flavors, textures and aromas. We ordered cocktails and dessert, and we gushed with oohs and aahs as we tasted each. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Appreciated the manager making the rounds asking for comments on the meal but even more so the time she spent with us rather than racing on to the next table. We were easily able to talk among ourselves without raising our voices. The environment is upscale yet does not try to be opulent. My only regrets are not having visited the restaurant previously and not having ordered even more items.

Ambiance is great and it is a beautiful restaurant. The food is not worth the price, and really not tasty at all. We tried around 8 dishes, and we didn't like anything. They do not customize the heat in any dish so all the dishes were too bland for us. We asked for chilies on the side so we could add heat to our desired level, and the waiter said they only offer a hot sauce. It tasted like a slightly spicier Tabasco (so very tangy which ruins the flavor of the dish) and they charged us (seems petty when we are spending hundreds).

Great ambiance but portions were absurdly small especially for the high prices. Went for a family birthday dinner and we all walked away hungry and out over $200.

Top notch service, knowledge and food. Cocktails were creative and delicious as well. Kashmiri duck birria tacos and lamb keema hyderabadi stole the show.

We had an excellent meal! Took a bit of time to get us seated and our waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed, but it was also a busy evening so definitely understandable. Food was delicious and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Went for a special Diwali menu with wine flights. Food was delicious, but different servers each time and they didn't know about what allergens were contained. I had made a point to ask earlier. We were forgotten a few times and had multiple people come and go before we were served finally. There were only 3 of us and we did pay fully. We were given this recommendation by some friends living in LA and were a little disappointed. I'm sure their regular menu is great, but their Diwali one wasn't as expected

I know the day was Diwali. When we walked in we were asked whether we wanted to sit in a quiet area. We said sure, the area was not quiet at all. This was before a DJ was playing music in the main area. Our Cocktails arrived 2/3rd’s way of our food. We got come crazy excuse why it was not delivered. They should have comped the Cocktails instead gave us some cheap Champagne. 4% Employee Benefit Charge should have been disclosed.

Food was fantastic. Drinks were tasty. It has to be one of the best dinners of the year. The duck tacos were one of the most delicious dishes we have had in a long time. Cannot wait to go back!!

Fantastic dining experience! We had sweet potatoe chat, sea bass in banna leaf, pork belly as well wild shrimp. Served family style, we could have stayed and ordered all night long. Drinks menu is suberb and their desserts are a perfect finish to the meal. We would make a trip back to LA just to visit Baar Baar again!

Sunday brunch was great. Food was terrific. Music was good until the DJ came in and launched an audible attack on our eardrums. It was WAY TOO LOUD. Stopped any ability to have a conversation with our friends.

Vibrant bar scene! Good energy! Loud! Hard to talk at your table given noise level! Server was excellent! Food was OK - 50 percent hit rate and we ordered all the signature dishes ! Shrimp dish was Ok- masala seemed to mask the freshness of prawns ! Chicken tikka masala was nothing out of the ordinary - more sauce then actual meat( 3 pieces) in dish! Forgot to send out fish order Paneer pinwheel and egg plant dish were very good! Pork belly dish was too sweet! Didn’t have enough heat in most dishes Lamb chops were just ok - nothing special ! Dahi Puri was ok - you can get the same one at your local India Sweet and Spices Drinks were creative ! Love the menu ! We were a large party! And everyone on the table have been to top Indian restaurants in the states including Indian accent in NY and Rasika in DC

Everyone was so kind and enthusiastic about the menu, the ambiance is gorgeous, the drinks are beautiful and strong and delicious, and the food was amazing. I will be coming back! One of my favorite dining experiences in recent memory.
