We all know that country pubs are the heart and soul of Australian townships and Balldale Hotel is no different. 115 years old and full of history, it is one of the great pubs in the Riverina where the community and visitors come to enjoy a cold beer, have a laugh and a good feed.

Located between Albury and the Rutherglen wine region in a classic Australian village, we’re within easy reach of Howlong and Corowa. We like to think that we serve classic pub fare with a bit of flare, but come and check us out yourself. If you’re around, come and relax in our beer garden and listen to live music every Sunday afternoon.

    What a little gem. This place is cozy, brilliant meals, service was impeccable. Michelle and her staff were sooooo friendly. We will be back again and with other friends and can’t wait till the guest rooms are complete. Highly recommend The Balldale Hote

    This out of the way pub was a great little find, having been lovingly restored, with both covered and uncovered outdoor areas as well as 2 Fire places indoors. They have live music on most Sundays and are too willing to please. Meals were above pub standards and generous, all in all we wi be back to support this out back hotel.

    We had lunch on Easter Sunday. It was busy and the staff were amazing. Typical country pub food. Great quality and plenty of it. Can definitely recommend the beef burger.

    It was well worth the drive from Corowa to enjoy a lovely lunch at Balldale Hotel. A variety of regular and gourmet options and an extensive wine list. We’ll be back!

    Meals were nice , service was quick. Nice set up outside. Live music was good although a touch loud which made conversation difficult. We'll be back.

    We both had the cannelloni with an added green salad, an excellent meal. We booked the dining room for 7pm but got there early at 6.30 so had room to ourselves save for another group who arrived at 7pm. It's just a nice place to have a meal in the middle of no where. Accommodation is being planned there too so we'll definitely have a weekend away in the future.

    We went out for my birthday dinner with a few friends and family, it was a lovely night, the meals was lovely and if, through no fault of the hotel, the mozzies were on fire.. otherwise it was a good night. ❤️

    We love the Balldale and often go for a family friendly dinner or lunch. The kids love the sandpit, and the meals are generous. Only feedback would be the need to update the vintage of wines listed on the menu. However we enjoyed the wine we chose regardless. Will be back!!

    A trip to Balldale is always a real treat . The hotel not only offers top class meals but the staff are always super efficient .professional and friendly . Top class service in a remote country location . To be congratulated in every way .

    The place was lovely and clean friendly staff was given the option of inside seating as their was a buck’s party happening. This helped with noise level. Thank you for that. Will definitely be returning soon. Meals were a good size.

    Well worth a trip to experience good old fashioned service at I pub that I rate second to none in the area. Great for cyclists, motor cyclists, car enthusiasts, families, couples and young people that want a good time.

    Such a great little pub and well worth the short drive from Albury. The food was amazing, so delicious. I highly recommend this pub. Overall; just fabulous
