Excellent service, wonderful short rib and very good cod, but we were the only customers, which resulted in a bit of a, uneasy feeling?

Restaurant is in a great location, and the patio is great for a view of Engiish Bay and people walking by. Food quality was pretty good, but portions were a tad small, especially since the prices were bumped a little because it was fireworks night. Also, menu had been cut back for the evening because of the event, but this wasn't mentioned ahead of time on the website. Service was good, but strained with the big crowd - still overall a good dining experience. The cocktail specials were well made.

The menus was only happy hour but then other people were getting supper , I guess it wasn’t explained the best . But location was great

Just OK overall- views only visible from the patio, no views from indoors. Short menu- about 1/3 not available on the day. Approx 45 min wait for food even though restaurant was empty. Food was OK.

Food was good but service was terrible. I had to wait 20 minutes for my orange juice and reminded them a few times before I got it. And it's not like it's fresh squeezed, cos I saw them pour it out of a jug. We also asked if the door to the patio could be shut (it was a very windy day and we were seated inside, so wanted to be more protected from the cold wind) they said yes. In practice though, it was mostly kept open. Should have just told us they can't shut it, so we could have moved. You're paying to be close to English Bay, that's it! Food is tasty, but nothing amazing. I think you're mostly paying for location. Which is an excellent location! :)
