The coffee bar showcases iconic Chicago roasters, Intelligentsia and Metric Coffee, and offers daily pour-over specials, Bulletproof coffee, and Nitro coffee, and an array of cookies and pastries from the in-house bakery
Brunch is awesome at this place! Really good menu and variety for all types of appetite. We had the chicken tinga, avocado toast, and chimichuri steak and eggs. Blueberry Collins cocktails too!
Fresh, innovative and delicious! Located in Chicago's hottest restaurant row, it's got a lively atmosphere with great food. Perfect for a fun night out or a quick dinner before a local sports concert venue. Service was accommodating and professional. Best hidden secret in the land of trendy, over priced hot spots.
Mom was in town visiting
Waitress was slow and forgetful
Very pleasant. Sunday night. Not empty, but not overwhelmed either. Menu looked great and all the dishes we ordered were good. (Crust on pumpkin-pecan pie was too hard to cut even with a knife, but the rest of the pie was great.) Service seemed a little unfocused, but not seriously problematic.
This was my first time here and we had reservations. We got seated 20 minutes after our seated time and our food was not good. I ordered the braised pot roast breakfast sandwich with white cheddar and relish and the sandwich was cold and had no cheese or relish. Our server was great, but the food and drinks were not worth $60.
Beatrix is one of our favorite brunch places; the atmosphere is laid-back, not to mention, the coffee is amazing from the coffee bar and the desserts are incredible!
Second visit to Beatrix and as enjoyable as the first.
Very dissapointed in service had 2 glass of wine they gave you very little wine my wife had a Martini it was like a child drink for the money we paid for drinks very poor and our Anniversary the waitress says cookies on the house and the she charges me 2.95 each so sorry we even came in server was not very nice at her job maybe a bad day but I spent good money....
Loved the food. Szechuan Chicken was fantastic.
The kennebec fries were amazing! The ahi tuna crudo was delicious!! The roasted cauliflower salad was fantastic. We added salmon and had it blackened. It was done perfectly!! Such delicious flavors!!
Food was cold and had to be sent back twice. I go here often and love this place but today everything was just meh...
Food at Beatrix tastes how food should taste, without a boatload of additives.
Food was good and the atmosphere is good. Was a Saturday night. People out drinking and having a good time. The food came pretty quickly for the croud but we then barely saw the waitress again. Did not really check on us again. Great environment , great food. Would have ordered more if could have seen the waitress a bit more.
Beatrix was fantastic! Everything about it was date night perfection and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Beatrix Fulton Market!
Beatrix is always a lovely experience. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious.
Evan the manager was fantastic! Scottie ( female) server was terrific! The Carmel pie is to die for!
Nice service and. Friendly. Lemon pancakes were as promised: light and fluffy-and not too sweet. Waffles were nicely crisp in the outside and the spicy chicken Tinga was the table favorite. Be sure to go to Fulton Market because River North is no where near as good in both food and service.
A busy place with no coat check, noisy bars at either end of the room. When seating is ready check your text as they don’t look for you. The food and service was excellent.
Our server was outstanding! Food delicious! Atmosphere amazing! Manager very helpful with food suggestions! Overall experience A++++
Incredible meal for our date night. These folks have the best food and drinks. Loved their new dessert pumpkin pecan pie as well. Thanks for a great time.
The food was *OK* - nothing to write home about. Our server was kind of inattentive - not bad, just also OK. I wouldn't recommend for dinner, though I've heard that the brunch is great.
A colleague and I met for a catch-up after a year and it was perfect. Prices are good; noise wasn't bad; service was excellent. The concierge was willing to find a quieter table when I asked--that was noteworthy to me. I eat out with people to connect and converse, not to have music pounding in the background to make the venue seem exciting.
My only complaint was the noise level... everything was delicious and unusual!
One of the best Old Fashioned cocktails I have ever had! The Wagyu pot roast was very flavorful and tender. My wife had the Chilean sea bass, also excellent. This is a great place for drink and a meal before heading over to the United Center to catch a concert or a game. We will be back!
Great food. Service is a bit slow to take order but food comes out fast. They forgot to pack my leftovers.
server was awesome, coool tats and knows the menu. had Cuban chicken....super.
Waited over 30 minutes for our reserved table -- We had a reservation and when we arrived they asked if we were all there, and I answered that my husband was parking. As in, he just dropped off myself and his senior parents and he's right behind us. She said, we're clearing some tables and I'll call your name. Well, we sat in the waiting area 12 feet from her for over 30 minutes before I finally went back to say, I'm waiting on our 1:15 reservation. And she says, Oh are you all here? I was waiting for you to tell me that. UGH. NOT What she said. So I was starving by the time we were seated. The food was good, the juices WAY overpriced for the portion, and we were seated by the window which was pretty chilly. Then, I saw in my email they CANCELLED my reservation at 2:20pm, meaning I don't get any points on here. All in all, it was fine, but the hostess team was clearly in the weeds and not managing it well at all. We got baked treats from the counter on the way out and they were amazing, and offered at a great price for the quality!
Oat milk latte was amazing! Everything was great!
Great service, natural, fresh ingredients. Give the fresh squeeze juices a try.
Food was excellent, portions were huge
Beatrix is beautiful, with delicious food that changes regularly, and a great atmosphere. Always a pleasure.
Creative interesting menu with choices across a range of diets and dietary requirements. Excellent seasonings, flavor, freshness, and presentation. Each selection at our table was delicious! The presentations , portions, and range of flavors and choices were delightful and made for a great evening.
Nice buzz. Good food value. Wine list limited, OK but nothing special.
I enjoyed the fact they had great vegan options. The brussel sprouts, the fries and cauliflower steak was great!
Terrible experience. Served a dry, burned pot roast breakfast sandwich. Burned so badly the odor permeated the bread and tainted my hands. Exchanged for an undersized, bland chimichurri steak & eggs dish that came with a scorched block of pressed frozen hash browns. Portions undersized. Juices from unripened fruits are not sweet. Wait staff overwhelmed. Manager tries to cover but too many errors for this to be an acceptable experience. Avoid like the plague!
Personally I didn’t like the chicken but everything else was so amazing I didn’t even mind! The ambiance and service was extremely nice! My boyfriend and I were on a date night and on vacation and we searched up different places but this one stood out! It was overall a good experience!!
Sehr gutes Essen zu einem guten Preis!
Good vibe. Great value and very good food. Good everyday place with something for everyone on the menu.
