Beautifully designed spaces with comfortable seating. Attentive and friendly staff. Food was delicious, especially the smoked trout dip with homemade chips. International wine list is appropriately concise and offers a variety of price points. Offerings by the glass are plentiful. I can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed several truly memorable dishes, although the overall experience was lacking consistency. The radicchio and apple salad, murasaki sweet potato with Arethusa yogurt, and ricotta agnolotti with fresh corn were exceptional—wonderful depth of flavor. Unfortunately, the porcini risotto and the coffee sorbet and walnut ice cream dessert didn't hit the mark. The coffee sorbet presentation resembled a pool of melted dark goo, while the sorbet's dense, square-shaped portions were icy rather than light and refreshing. The tables were also positioned a bit too closely for an intimate evening, with neighboring conversations easily overheard. There is clearly some wonderful culinary creativity here, and the standout dishes made the evening enjoyable. With a little more consistency in execution and attention to all the details, it could be truly exceptional.

A gem in Litchfield! Interesting menu, prepared with care and nicely presented. The pairing of duck breast with almost raw turnips may not be everyone’s cup of tea though. Service was friendly and attentive; the assortment of wines carefully chosen. For dessert I had a daring sorbet of berries and anise. Ummm. We will certainly go back on our next visit to Litchfield to sample some more items at this elegant venue.

Everything was great. So I am nitpicking... Appetizers needed bread served without asking or paying more. I had the Cod . Loved the white bean addition. Wasn't much actual Cod. We had the white chocolate desert good, but the addition of the ice cream made it really good....too (shared it). Loved the soothsayer Lager. Prefect for me. I love a light smooth beer. I will return.

We had a lovely, leisurely brunch. The waitress was personable and she graciously accommodated my last minute order change to a refreshing Bibb lettuce salad with buttermilk dressing and toasted quinoa instead of focaccia. I paired the incredibly delicious salad with a bowl of Kabocha squash soup that exceeded my expectations. The flavor was beautifully balanced with sweetness and savoriness. Perfect with a glass of prosecco. My husband had Gravlax on toast with coffee that he enjoyed very much. We had the warm chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Highly recommend.
