Our first time at Birds Nest. Lovely staff at Portside and great food with enjoyable sake. We did feel that our food order was rushed through by the kitchen so we ended up with everything being served close together. It was a little surprising given they were quite busy. That alone took the edge off the whole experience. If they can control the pace of service a little better it would be 5 stars. We will go back again.

We love dining here for special occasions. As a family with a coeliac, it is a restaurant we can all enjoy. I wish there were a few more mix and lates like the reef and beef as they are great value for money. Staff are delightful and this location is great.

Great food and great service. Thank you! We had a selection of yakitori - special mention to the tebasaki. The wombok with hot oil and garlic was delicious also. Delicious lunch if authentic Japanese treats!

Haven't been to a birds nest in a really long time, good was very average. Chicken curry was not that flavourful. And the chicken thigh skewer and pork belly skewer was average as well.
