BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Katy
Thought the Prime Rib Dip Sandwich would have prime rib and maybe more of it. Sandwich was mostly bun. Horseradish sauce was bland. They shorted me a side when I subbed out the fries for asparagus. Service was ok. Others at my table seemed content. Probably won’t go back anytime soon.
Our BJ's experience was just we were expecting. We celebrated my wife's birthday and had the pizza. The only negative was that the seasonal beers were not available as advertised throughout the restaurant. However, we had a great time and enjoyed some of the BJ's house brews. Our server Scott was exceptional and made our night memorable.
Waiter, Miles, and bartender, Rick are both amazing!!!
Hamburger was "meh", and the fries were ice cold. I may or may not give it another try.
They have been out of ahi tuna for a while now, I wish they would put something on the website or remove it from the menu or put out a statement that it won’t be back for a while. Also, our food came out different times than the sides. I don’t eat meat, stated I don’t eat meat and they brought the couscous Mac out with bacon bits on it. I scraped them off but lost half my side doing so as to not complain.
Great service. They had the restaurants set up for social distancing. All attendants used masks. Food was excellent.
Better than fast food and more nutritious. Reasonable prices with special offers.
Great attention to safety. Friendly staff, good food.
Everything was good except my friend's burger was too well done. She asked for medium rare.
It was great to get back out. BJ's did a great job preparing for the opening. I felt very safe and very much enjoyed lunch!
The pizza was great but the meat on the wedge salad tasted funny and we sent it back.
Food seemed to take a long time and service a little slow. Food was delicious and friendly staff.
Good food and a good prime rib deal but they keep on delivering the prime rib before anything else, very out of order. Also this last time our open table reservation did not show up so we would have had to wait about 30 min for a table. Never had this problem before now.
Service was terrible from the moment we walked in. Staff were completely overwhelmed with our group size and were very unprepared. Food was brought out at the same time as appetizers and all the orders were messed up. Will never go back to this restaurant
Our food was excellent, but, unfortunately, our waitress was not. She seemed in a huge hurry to get our orders, then, never checked on us once we got out food.
We had to flag her down a couple of times to refill our teas.
This is the first time eating at BJ’s that put wait person was not good at all.
Never disappoints. Great family dinner spot. The pazookie is always a hit :-)
What a mess. We've been before and enjoyed BJ's but last night was close to a disaster.
Our 7:30 reservation for 5 had us seated at 7:50. Not that big a deal but they crammed the 5 of us into a booth designed for 4. When asked if we could move to a table, the woman seating us said there was nothing available in that reservations for 8 and 11 were upcoming. That the restaurant was barely half full caused that comment to be viewed a bit incredulously.
Ordered calamari and the fried zucchini strips but the calamari arrived first with an explanation that the zucchini was burned and they had to start over. We finished the calamari long before a manager delivered the zucchini, which was pretty much burned again.
Our waiter kept wanting us to order entrees but we wanted to wait till the appetizers arrived, much to the apparent chagrin of the waiter. He even threw his shoulders back with a "well, I guess that's the way it's going to be" look on his face.
My daughter's deep dish pizza was still dough on the bottom. My flat pizza was dry and overcooked. My wife's salmon was passable. Another daughter's burger was pretty good but my son in law's French Dip was room temperature. All in all, pretty disappointing.
We ordered dessert, and then sat. And sat. 15-20 minutes later, I rounded up a very helpful manager, who brought us the check so we could get out prior to 10:00. As we were paying, some ice cream was delivered, which we declined.
Other parties arrived prior to us, appeared to receive their food far more quickly and were up and gone way before us. Our waiter, perhaps a rookie, was pretty disinterested, even to the point that when dessert never arrived, he mumbled something about "yes, I'm fine with that". A discussion on at least pretending to care may help whatever career the waiter chooses to pursue.
The manager was helpful and apologetic. that the occasion was my wife's birthday dinner made things even more grim. Sadly, we'll not be back anytime soon.
BJs has never let me down.
Christian was awesome. Very informative and friendly.
Caught up with a friend from work and his wife. BJ's was a convenient location for both of us. Has a wonderful evening of food, drinks, and conversation. C and I had the Thursday night spare ribs special and was very happy. Especially enjoyed the local craft beer from Brash Brewery. Thank You
Mother’s Day dinner
The food was AMAZING! I would definitely recommend, and the prices were great.
We were very disappointed in the food, very commercial and not tasty at all. Probably first and last time dining at BJs.
I had a Reservation so we only waited 5 minutes. It was Busy. Took longer than a usual to get our drinks and food. Food is good but Pricey
Service was very confused as we had a large party and I made previous notice for the staff. After we were seated they told us we could not sit there. Req Mgr to come over. Slow slow service on a Monday night. And to top it off, my clients car was broken into in the lot. Not good atvall
Food was not that good
They take 20 min to get drinks
Food take about an hour
I spend 3 hours only get 3 beers 😲🍺
Great BJ’s location. Service and food always good. My only complaint is menu almost too large. Hard to make a decision. Lol.
Food and service are consistently satisfactory, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Waitress was very attentive and food was enjoyable. A good time was had by all.
My wife loves this place, especially the pizzas. This time she had salmon and really liked it. She also had 3 different craft beers, which is always an adventure.
I had a simple pizza and I appreciated that the kitchen replaced tomato sauce with olive oil. Just makes for a lighter pizza.
Overall, very good, as it usually is.
Server was amazing! Food is always the best. Well worth it.
Good food selection. Good beer selection. The service is mediocre but not terrible. Overall this place is worth it.
Insulting sums it up. 7:30 PM Open Table reservation and they seated us at 8:20. Manager, who didn’t bother even introducing himself, simple came over and stated he get our table soon. Two in our party, who budgeted 90 minutes to share dinner, could only order, then ask for meal to be boxed to take away as it did not arrive soon enough to enjoy with us. 6 year old boy fresh from T-Ball practice, thirsty, hungry, and tired, didn’t get his Children’s corn dog plate until 8:41 PM, 82 minutes after our Open Table reservation and “After” all the adults were finally served. One deep dish pizza order arrived only Luke warm. Oh the waiter was accommodating, and upon exiting offered 2 Pizookie coupons for our inconvenience, but to use them, it requires another meal with a minimum meal purchase. I think not. At least not at this Katy, TX location. Truly a disappointing dining experience.
