The most BEAUTIFUL ambiance, the best service and amazing food all around. My new favorite restaurant ❤️
Beautiful place, food was wonderful, staff and service was amazing.
Awesome anniversary dinner!!
My birthday dinner here was absolutely amazing! The entire staff was very nice and attentive. The vibe and overall scenery was absolutely breathtaking! The only down side I would say was the food. 2 out of 6 of our orders were made med-rare and we asked for med and med-well. I didn’t like the lamb chops at all but the steak was delicious. This was my first but it definitely will not be my last visit to the Blvd. It is truly an undeniably beautiful place.
BLVD’s service is unmatched. Very knowledgeable wait staff and very attentive - even on a busy Friday night. Best thing we had was the scallops - so delicious! Also the bread and bone marrow butter was great, and they offer a gluten free bread substitute for allergies we had.
This place is amazing! Great food! Great atmosphere! Even the bathrooms are gorgeous lol! Definitely worth a try!
Food was DEEELISH! Delighted with my choice of going somewhere new for me!
Lousy food - both my dish and the dish of my partner were Luke warm to cold, and frankly tasteless. I ordered a recommended drink, the champagne cocktail and it was terribly. After two sips I send it back.
Service and food were perfect
Celebrated my wife’s birthday with family. Service and food were excellent.
There are better steakhouses in Chicago than this place.
I would say that the food was ok, nothing great and the service was below average.
We got our appetizers before our drinks and then we ordered a bottle of wine and the waiter came to open the bottle when we were all done with our steak entrees.
Timing was not on point at all. Lots of waiting and wondering where our server was with our drinks.
Slow service, cold prime rib, seafood tower half the size it should be for $165
The service started with prompt and professional valet service. We were welcomed as soon as got out of our car. Our server, Alexandria, was phenomenal. The entire staff worked as a cohesive team.
Celebrated a graduation here the other night. Absolutely loved the champagne room. Our server was the best and even had sent out complimentary champagne to help us celebrate. Food was absolutely delicious. My only critique is that it seemed like food service was very slow, especially at 10pm when the restaurant was mostly empty. It took almost 45-60 minutes for us to get our main course after ordering. I would be back for the food and hopefully quicker meal prep in the future.
Very poor service, the server that brought our food couldn't be understood you didn't know what went with what. Waiter did not check on us until we were halfway through our meal. Very disappointed with the food and service.
The place is nice, but the food is bland. Overall overrated.
We celebrated our Anniversary and the entire staff made it a special and memorable meal. From the food to the decor - the attention to detail was impressive!
Excellent food. Club-like atmosphere but quieter on the weekday nights. Service was top notch. Great for a date night. Pricey.
Our locale of choice for anniversary and birthday celebrations; beautiful midcentury decor, and exceedingly attentive service.
Some portions might be smaller than folks anticipating typical American restaurant portions could expect, particularly with the recently-revamped menu -- absent explicit contrary guidance, expect quality to be emphasized over quantity.
Beautiful restaurant, very sophisticated, great food, flawless service.
Great atmosphere - Fine wine list. Very good and attentive service.
Had dinner here for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Awesome ambiance and great service! The food was really good, with the drinks and dessert being the high points. Will definitely be coming back!
I sat without cutlery for about 15 minutes while my food got cold, drinks were rarely refilled, and the food wasn’t worth the terrible service.
Food seems to have taken a downturn since they redesigned the menu.
We ordered Escargot, the Crab special, Scallops, the mushrooms, and the Candy bar dessert. The Escargot was probably the least impressive and least memorable we've had anywhere- skip it for sure. Crab legs were good and the scallops were good, but the scallops were served atop of very bland polenta. We got the candy bar dessert and it was so sweet that it made our mouths hurt. Overall, food needed some fine tuning considering the price points.
Added a birthday note in the reservation but the message never seemed to be communicated to our server.
For the price, I'd rather drop money across the street at Momotaro, where I know attention to detail has been placed on everything on my plate.
We truly loved the ambiance and the food. Unparalleled in Chicago
This was our forth trip to BLVD and the absolute WORST. The food was not the same as we remember (recent menu change or something) and we will not be returning. There are too many wonderful places in Chicago and with the menu change this is NOT one of them. We returned a
T-bone steak in exchange for a hamburger that how bad the meat tasted.
This was my second time at BLVD. The ambiance is amazing and they have live music on Thursday from 6-8 which was really good. The decor is really spectacular. The food and drinks are also very good and our service was great. The short rib ravioli was amazing. I also highly recommend their waffle dessert with bananas and ice-cream, so decedent. There was just one odd thing that happened. The hostess told us we had a time limit on our table. We had reservation for 6 and she said since they were booked they would need the table back at 8. We were there until 10 and there was never a mention of that from our server but I was a little turned off by that. If I am spending well over $300 for apps, dinner, wine and dessert you should never mention a time limit.
The menu is lovely. The switch from a small plate offering to regular entrées was a great decision by the restaurant. Portions are ample and beautifully presented. The sides definitely are shareable. Our server was excellent and very helpful in answering our questions about food preparation and his attention to us was perfect. The noise level was quite energetic and caused us to have to speak over conversational tones. That is unfortunate since we were sitting next to each other at a four top table. With that exception, we had a great experience and look forward to returning.
Incredible experience. Check out the new menu which consists of more steak and seafood options. I had the trout which was cooked to perfection. Great ambience for me and my friends to catch up over great food and drink.
Wow! From the ambiance to the amazing food and friendly service I can’t say enough! We had the most incredible dinner at BLVD. The minute we sat down our waitress approached us to introduce the menu, making it easy to decide between all the fabulous dishes. The menu was perfect for both shareable items to start with and individual dishes for the main course. Not to mention the wide variety of dish options to choose from covered everyone’s (even the picky eaters) appetite. The drink menu was on another level, from the cocktails to the wine list you can tell each item was carefully selected by the BLVD team! It’s great to see that the combination of classy chic and Hollywood glam has finally made it to Chicago and in the heart of the West Loop. I will definitely be heading back there very soon with friends, for a date night and work dinners. Such a fabulous evening!!!!!!!
The food and service was excellent. The ambiance is fantastic, it feels like your transferred out of Chicago and into old Hollywood. The dishes are meant to be shared, the sea scallops were excellent! My only compliant would be that the host staff were not very welcoming and inviting. This was small, but the table staff more than made up for it with their great service.
Love the ambience and the service. The seafood tower was okay - honestly not terribly exciting. I generally prefer east coast oysters, but they weren't available. The hamachi appetizer was delicious, but unexpectedly spicy. The Palomas were a bit sweet and syrupy for my taste. The last time I was here I had one and it seemed more balanced.
The main courses - lamb, short-rib and seafood were all delicious. I have a number of allergies so I'm typically relegated to sorbet for dessert. The trio of flavors were delicious with the coconut sorbet being especially and delightfully rich in flavor. The rest of the table relished the bread pudding and candy bar cake.
Will definitely be back.
I had great time and the Food and Service was amazing
Food was wayyyy overpriced, was not appetizing and service both from waitress and bar was very slow. There are MUCH MUCH better steakhouses to drop $. Do not recommend.
Everything about this place is amazing. The decor is gorgeous. The service is perfect. The food is spectacular. If I were in Chicago longer I’d come back several more times
Fabulous experience as always!!!
Food was everything I expected. Service was on point. Courses we timed perfect. Wait staff never let my drinks go empty. Will definitely be back
Tori, our server, was extremely professional and provided excellent advice and service. The food was excellent.
Hostess was unfriendly and sat us at the bar area since we didn't have a reservation even though the place was half empty and open table had a large number of available reservations. I sat at the bar and made a reservation. Very bad first impression. Once we were seated service was great. Live music was really nice. Food was good. Lambchops were great, salmon was fishy. Drinks were top notch. Good vibe.
