    Unfortunately, we were seated next to an extremely loud Rotary Club meeting which made conversation difficult. Other than that, the service and food were excellent.

    We were seated at a high top table in the kitchen area that was choked with smoke when there were empty tables in the room away from the kitchen. Should have asked to be moved. Very noisy and we and our clothes smelled of kitchen smoke, not a pleasant ambiance. At some point a door was opened and AC cranked up which eliminated the smokiness but damage done. Food was delicious, our server had little personality.

    This was our fourth meal at Botika, our first lunchtime meal. We hosted a friend who has lived in Peru, so he found several dishes he recognized. All three of us has excellent entrees — I had a rice bowl with vegetables and andouille; my wife had a grain bowl with added avocado and salmon, and our friend had empanadas. All arrived in a short time (we enjoyed cocktails as we waited) and service was attentive. Botika has a unique fusion of Asian and Peruvian food and every meal we have had there has been memorable.

    The food was amazing. Every dish was plated and served at the right temperature. We had something from almost every side of the menu and we really enjoyed it. The goat cheese veggies were to die for..I will definitely return.

    We had a 6pm reservation and were promptly seated, waitress was great, had some wonderful drink recommendations. Food was delicious - perfect size for sharing. Next time we'll save room for desert!

    One of my top favorites in San Antonio. You can never go wrong here! Grace, our waitress was phenomenal and the sweetest:) short rib noodles are always a must, and they have a great bartender who makes great drinks!

    I made reservations a week in advance, however they seated a friend and I in the back private room with a large party of about 20 people. Realizing we wouldn’t be able to hear each other talk, I asked the host if they would please move us. We ended up at the bar next to the kitchen, which was not even the nice side of the bar. I was disappointed in the change in seating as there were many empty tables that could seat us around the restaurant, however they told us due to the reservations that was the only place they could put us. The same tables were empty when we left an hour later. It was my first time here, so that didn’t leave me with a feeling of wanting to come back although the pork rib noodles were delicious.

    Food, cocktails, service and atmosphere were top notch! Our server Emily was friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and cocktail menu! Very impressed with the Botika experience!

    We were sat at the bar around 245 (reservation was for 3). We counted approx. 10 open tables and staff were seeing tables that already had food but we sat there without having been addressed AT ALL for fifteen minutes. Virtually every server that we could see had walked past our table at least one time and, after the bartender noticed our table and still didn’t even come acknowledge us, we decided to leave and go elsewhere. We were super excited to try this place and have had it saved on our Google maps as a go-to/check out place for months. Maybe we’ll try again at some point but we were pretty disappointed with being ignored for so long. We’re not super stuck up and totally understand when a place is jam packed and busy or understaffed, even just a “hi, sorry it’s taking so long” would’ve gone a long way but we didn’t even get that.

    Enjoyed the Sunday Brunch for Mother's Day and was seated right away. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Botika Bowl with grilled chicken was very good. Hubby's Steak&Eggs was good as well, but the sauce was a bit much and made the plantains soggy. The Sweet Buns with pork was fantastic! Overall, very satisfying meal. Highly recommend this place.

    We had a reservation but were seated in a hightop at the bar. Our server didn't come by after brining our meal and we eventually had to flag someone down to close out our tab. On a brighter note, the food was outstanding. The short rib soba noodles was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The flavor of the dish was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

    The short ribs bowl was out of this world! We enjoyed the shrimp tiradito and flight of sake as well. Friendly service, but it took forever to get our drinks, and then our two dishes were not served together. Fortunately, we shared the plates some, but better timing from the kitchen would have been preferable. Nonetheless, the wait for the short ribs was worth it!

    We had two people with dietary restrictions, and the staff were able to accommodate us both. One meal was delayed a bit, but they apologized and offered us free dessert to compensate. We loved the food.
