The food was excellent as usual. The server did not seem to know much about the menu, they were not very attentive and had to be called over to make a request, and the bills were mixed up. It was a busy night so that could have been a factor. Overall the service was mediocre.

The Bristol has redeemed themselves, I brought my mom in with me today and our server was on point she didn’t miss one thing, we left her a very nice surprise when signing the check, I wish I could have remembered her name but unfortunately I can’t, she deserves mad props, my mom kept talking about her on our ride home to Lexington!

This had to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had at the Bristol, after my server dropped off half my meal I asked where my salad was, she replied I’m getting it, then NEVER say her again, I had to ask the host (Robert) for another drink, box, bag and my check, still no server, on the other hand Robert was a rockstar, kept checking on me, apologizing, I was he’d been my server from the beginning, he is a great asset to your restaurant.

The Sunday brunch has a wide variety of foods to choose from and aren't just carby breakfast items. However, the website specifically states that there is a specialty egg dish served and that is not always the case. Sometimes it is just scrambled eggs which I would not consider specialty at all, no veg or herbs mixed in or cheese. This was very disappointing to me because there are a lot of the other things they do serve that I cannot eat. When I asked the server about it, she sent someone else over to discuss it. It didn't seem like a very big deal to them, and when I brought up the fact that the website specifically says there will be an egg specialty dish on the brunch, the gentleman got a bit defensive and said he had no control over the website. My point was, tho, that I and I'm sure many others look at the menu on the website to decide if we want to go there or not. Customers have a lot of brunch choices. We probably won't be back.

Lon, Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s clear we fell short in both consistency and communication. You are right to expect that what is described on our website matches what is offered in the restaurant, and we understand how disappointing that was—especially when it impacted your ability to enjoy the meal. We also regret that your concerns were not handled with the level of care you deserved. That is not the standard we expect from our team. Your feedback has been shared with our team and those responsible for our menu and online content so we can address both the accuracy of our messaging and how we respond in the moment. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and hope to have the opportunity to serve you again soon. Sincerely, Johnathan Zevotek General Manager
