Inspired by the European beer belt, Brux House located in Hamilton, Ontario couples fine fare and top-shelf service with the best of craft beer and ciders, spirited cocktails and exciting wines.
Executive Chef Fraser Macfarlane gives classic cuisine his creative culinary slant using quality and local ingredients. Food is paired with traditional and innovative beer styles from an extensive bottle and tap list of local and imported brews.
The restaurant’s bar area is home to a changing chalkboard menu listing daily features. An elegant dining room offers an à la carte menu that caters to guests looking for refined, but approachable, dishes.
Brewer Mark Horsley is on board to create recipes under the Brux House label. He also collaborates with local breweries to produce unique, one-off beer styles to complement Macfarlane’s superb menus highlighting the best of the season.

Great food and wonderful service. Would recommend the piped music be softer when there's only a few people in the room.

Interesting, well thought out menu using simple fresh ingredients in unusual and delicious ways. Lovely casual and welcoming spot where you can relax with a date or with a group of friends and feel that you've been somewhere special . Lots of people evidently agree.Make a reservation in good time for Fridays or Saturdays !!!

Sauces were wonderful. Desserts (lemon pie and chocolate and cranberries) were fantastic. Main courses (pork schnitzel and fish casserole) seemed to lack flavour. Frites were more like french fries - should have been smaller. Tater tops are to die for.

Great selection of beers. Spectacular food. Turkey wings, brussels sprout salad and the pork schnitzel are all highly recommended. Only issue we faced is we had to wait 20 minutes for our table despite having a reservation.

Been to Brux House for beers - of which they have a wondrous selection that changes seasonally, with strong standards all year round - but did not eat there till now. Oh, what I was missing! One of the best meals I've ever had. All I can say is: go as soon as possible!

The only complaint would be that this is the second visit where we had reservations and had to wait for over 30minutes for our table. Squished into the corner afraid to move because we were so tightly packed into the bar area.

Chose this place for a pre-show dinner even though it was a little far from the venue, but were really glad we did. A+ on all fronts: great beer selection, welcoming vibe, prompt and friendly service, and delicious food (we tried the schnitzel and the burger).

Great food, service was excellent, didn't feel rushed and server was very attentive.I've been there for lunch and supper and both times I've really enjoyed my Neal. The tater tots ar a must!
