Sigi did an outstanding job serving us! Nice atmosphere and location.
Courtney was very attentive and an overall great server!
Great. Server (Sigi) was so nice and attentive. The gin and tonic drink was delicious as were the rib and flatbread entrees. The patio is one of the nicest spots in town and dog friendly.
Vinnie was a great server - our food was fantastic….could be the best burger ever!
My husband ordered the margarita pizza and it was not hot and a bit soggy. Very disappointing.
Get the nachos !!! You will not be disappointed !!
Waiter was good until we didn’t order booze, then he couldn’t have cared less about our table. Food was decent enough….menu is VERY limited
The ambiance and food are always exceptional and the time was more different. And ask for Sigi to serve you - she is phenomenal and adds an authentic dash of Bavaria!
Wonderful trout dinner! Just wish they had brought my salad before my main course. Zack was very helpful with finding the wine we wanted. Patio table was the way to go!
It was my daughter‘s 14th birthday. We had made reservations and had to wait to be seated for quite a while. Once we were seated, we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come over and acknowledge us. And once we did, the server was awful. and I mean awful!
Shirley temples were $35 for four, which was ridiculous. And they automatically charged a 20% gratuity. I will never return and very disappointed in the overall experience here.
Wonderful time at BR as usual - Sigi took great care of us, and food was delish!
Menu is very limited!
Long time friends get-together
Wine wasn’t chilled. Food was pretty tasteless.
I think it is perhaps the best value in Vail. Best burgers in Vail in my opinion and other selections are great!
Bully Ranch was great and service was fantastic.
Lovely dinner on their patio. Great service and great food.
We had the NICEST, competent, patient waitresses! Sigi couldn’t have done anything more to make our group of 10 plus 3 little kids, any more special. I had made a reservation for 5 pm but the Triple Bypass race took my husband less time then he expected so Bully Ranch took us early.
We had such a nice time that we will be back for sure.
All good. Here are more words to meet the word count.
Restaurant had very high reviews so we made reservations in the way into Vail. I had the shrimp and my husband had the steak. They were average. I guess I don’t understand the high reviews.
Great atmosphere , great food and drinks. Service was great! Would definitely go there again.
It took 3 attempts to get one order right. The wait for lunch was ridiculously long and then the credit card machine broke. Overall not a great experience
Birthday was great
The food and service were good. However, the menu on Open Table is different than the menu in the restaurant. PLEASE bring back the wildly popular Pretzel - the best in the Vail Valley - as well as the Spinach and Avocado dip and the Chicken Pot Pie. Also when you call the restaurant to make or confirm your reservation, the recording on the answering machine says that reservations are NOT being accepted and this obviously is not what is done or said on Open Table. It would be nice if the restaurant would bring back the very popular Pretzel, as this was just the best - and the reason that I would bring friends and family to dine with me at Bully Ranch.
We have eaten at Bully Ranch before and it never ceases to reach our expectations! The setting on the patio was beautiful and the service was on the mark. We ordered a delicious appetizer, salad and entrée and each was delivered with excellent presentation and tasted marvelous! In spite of COVID-19 related staff shortages over this past year Bully Ranch has managed to maintain its high bar of service and quality.
Great food and service. Best patio in Vail
Great place for eating in and out!
Love this place
Always love going to Bully Ranch when in Vail. They love kids so my son has a blast dining there and it can be as dressy or as casual as you would like so it’s especially great for a low key dinner and drinks but the food is as good as any of the fine dining establishments.
Told out of baby back ribs long after we ordered them…after received appetizer. Bill botched…both credits given but all meals charged to one card. This restaurant can do much better.
Stressed out wait staff. Just couldn’t quite get it together. I ordered nachos because I’ve dined at the Bully many time over the years and they’ve traditionally been hearty and excellent. These were served on a dish, as opposed to a warm skillet and had too much creamy goop drizzled all over them. Worst nachos in Vail… My husband ordered the margherita pizza. It was fit for a kid. Not terrible, just meh. Love the place, but they need to get back to where they were food-wise. Place looks nice after renovations. No major change, just spiffed up nicely. Service, well, that’s a problem everywhere nowadays. Oh and please put the fajitas back on the menu!
Solid spot in the Village
We ate here last summer and it was spectacular. This time, we could not have been more disappointed. In particular, after ordering cocktails, we ordered a bottle of wine to have with dinner. After waiting over 30 minutes for the bottle, and our waitress reassuring us that they were retrieving it from the cellar, a “manager” approached us and asked how we were doing. When we responded that we were still waiting for a bottle of wine, she pulled a bottle of wine out from behind her back, told us that they were out of the bottle we ordered but that she was offering us a premium bottle at a lower price, albeit significantly more than the bottle we had ordered. When we told her that we did not want it, she did not even offer to bring us a wine menu or do anything else to rectify the situation. I would never eat here again!
Horrible service. Waitress multiple times ignored us and multiple times would simple hold her finger up to tell us to wait. One of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had frankly and certainly in Vail
That said, good and drinks were very good.
Bully Ranch has always been a staple in Vail dining. However, it definitely disappointed us this time around since we decided to go there for lunch during Easter. The food was terrible and they were severely understaffed. I found it helpful, but odd the hostess had to remind us about that. The ambiance was pretty, but outdoor patio was in the shade so it was cold sitting outside. I would suggest putting heaters out there at least until it warms up more. If they weren't understaffed it would have been a better experience.
A delicious meal overall. The Caesar salad was perfect - as was the burger and the wild boar stew. The chicken soup left was just okay. Service was lovely and we’ll definitely be back.
The waters wasn’t
Great Bavarian look and feel combined with Western style food
Great place for families. Good kids' menu. Good appetizers.
