Bully Ranch has always been a staple in Vail dining. However, it definitely disappointed us this time around since we decided to go there for lunch during Easter. The food was terrible and they were severely understaffed. I found it helpful, but odd the hostess had to remind us about that. The ambiance was pretty, but outdoor patio was in the shade so it was cold sitting outside. I would suggest putting heaters out there at least until it warms up more. If they weren't understaffed it would have been a better experience.
A delicious meal overall. The Caesar salad was perfect - as was the burger and the wild boar stew. The chicken soup left was just okay. Service was lovely and we’ll definitely be back.
The waters wasn’t
Great Bavarian look and feel combined with Western style food
Great place for families. Good kids' menu. Good appetizers.
Great burgers! Took us right when we arrived for our reservation
Great food and service
Hostess was extremely rude. Otherwise service and food were great!
Hostess was unfortunately very rude when we walked in we were placed at a table right by the front door asked repeatedly to be moved and was ignored and when I asked again she got very angry you could see she was overwhelmed but she could have been nicer food was excellent
Good food in a nice hotel environment. Had to valet which was a good experience as well. Post snowmobile lunch for father and son. It worked out great!
Great service. Delicious burgers, elk nachos and pretzels. Fish tacos were overly salty.
Nice atmosphere and good service. Food was so-so. Artichoke dip was good but two burgers we ordered weren't cooked how we requested and lacked taste. They do a nice job with the visuals of the food when it comes out but unfortunately looks were deceiving. Not bad... decent place in a pinch but expect a lot more from a $22 burger. I would have still been disappointed if it was $10.
Best hamburgers in town! Truffle tots are exceptional and unique. This is one place on our list every year to visit when on Vail!
Food was good. Wine offering was quite limited. Unfortunately, there was a table with loud kids and adults near us. That really changes the atmosphere.
Best burgers in Vail! Great salads and desserts as well. A Vail must!
Staff, food, ambiance all very solid. I forgot my credit card and it was secured. I have been 3 times and would come again.
Love bully ranch
Food was excellent and service was fast and efficient.
Always good food, valet parking the village. Beautiful hotel and restaurant(s).
The host is so rude , not a single smile from her! Bad experience
Trout, pulled pork sandwich, ribs & pretzel were delicious! Great service, fun atmosphere!
Excellent old fashioned. Kind waiter. The salmon was overdone
Great food and great staff!
Brett and Diego provided excellent service. Food is great!
The Bourbon Bully Ranch burger was excellent. The salads were so-so, not the best Caesar I have ever had, and we didn't care for the Green Goddess wedge. The truffle tater tots we got with the burger were very good.
It was everything we expected from the bully ranch
Fantastic food in a cool environment
My entree was cold. Appetizers were great as well as the soup
Our salad was frozen and burgers were mediocre at best. Tater tots and nachos were good.
Delicious pretzels and tater tots! Buffalo burger was great!
I highly recommend this restaurant. It was one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had!
Wonderful food and service ! We always love it
The food was excellent. Fast service and super nice staff. We went back during our trip!!
Food is just ok.
Very tasty buffalo burger
Wonderful kale salad
Great Western and mountain atmosphere, popular place in the classic and lovely Sonnenalp Hotel. We were lucky to get reservations on a Saturday night! Hosts texted to confirm and to tell us our table was ready earlt, which was very helpful. Portions were really generous. Beef wrapped in lettuce was wonderful albeit a little confusing figuring out how to eat it. Nice salads and light fare on the menu as well as hearty burgers.
First night of family vacation in Vail. Giant pretzel with dipping sauces was delicious. Didn't love the artichoke dip, but we ate it. Burgers were fantastic, and truffle tots were also a big hit. Thank God I cut my chicken sandwich in half, because it was undercooked and still pink/raw in the center. The owner was extremely apologetic and immediately spoke to the kitchen; they got it right the second time and he took it off the bill. The restaurant was awfully warm, although we were seated very near the open kitchen. Still a fun night, which everyone enjoyed.
It was hot as hell in the restaurant. Food was great and great service.
We will be back!
