Well , made a reservation for valentines day at 8.15pm When we arrived we saw a lot of people waiting outside , some with 7.30 pm reservation . When I asked how long will it be to be seated, they just answered: long time ! I explained that i had kids at home and did not have all the time in the world and the answer was : so you better look for somewhere else !

Lovely service and delicious food. The chef special lemon shrimp pasta was fabulous - expensive but worth it. We adored the ambience of the outdoor euro style patio! They were very clear that dishes take time and care to make - ignore the negative reviews as it really is a lovely, hole in the wall establishment. They were very attentive and kind.

The best neighborhood local Italian even after 30 years in business. All the pasta dishes are excellent as is the pizza. Juan our server has been there 26 years and excels at providing top notch service!

The sausage on pizza was good but the pizza also had canned mushrooms which I did not care for.

FAQs

Yes, Cafe Angelino is often recommended for date night. Guests praise the cozy, intimate atmosphere and the outdoor Euro-style patio, which many find romantic. The food is frequently described as authentic and delicious (pasta, pizza, risotto), and staff are praised for attentive service. Note: the small dining room can get noisy at peak times and holidays, so consider requesting patio seating or an earlier reservation for a quieter experience.

Casual dress is appropriate, the restaurant lists a casual dress code and many guests describe it as a relaxed neighborhood spot. You’ll see diners in smart-casual attire for date nights and comfortable clothing for everyday visits.

Cafe Angelino offers indoor dining in an intimate, small dining room plus a charming outdoor Euro-style patio. The interior is described as cozy and sometimes noisy due to its size; the patio is a popular option for guests who prefer a quieter, al fresco meal. The restaurant does not advertise private dining rooms.

Cafe Angelino is open for lunch and dinner. Typical hours listed by the restaurant are: - Monday–Saturday: Lunch 11:00 am–3:00 pm; Dinner 3:00 pm–10:00 pm - Sunday: 2:00 pm–10:00 pm If you’re visiting on a holiday or need an exact closing time for a special date, call ahead to confirm.

Portions at Cafe Angelino tend to be moderate, guests often describe the dishes as flavorful but sometimes on the smaller side. Several guests noted that plates can feel modest, so pairing a shared starter (bruschetta, burrata) with a pasta or pizza is a good strategy if you want extra value.

For a quieter experience, aim for weekday lunches or early weeknight dinners, guests note weeknights are more relaxed. Evenings, Fridays and holidays can be busy and louder; several guests reported long waits on Valentine’s Day and holiday nights. If you prefer a calmer meal, request patio seating or an earlier reservation and avoid peak holiday times.

The atmosphere is warm, neighborhood Italian, cozy, casual and authentically styled. Guests describe a comfortable, homey vibe (“feels like eating at Noni’s house”), an intimate dining room that can get lively, and a lovely outdoor patio with a Euro feel. Expect friendly service and a relaxed, local crowd rather than formal fine dining.

Yes, Cafe Angelino’s kitchen and staff are known for flexibility with dishes (guests note the chef will modify sauces when possible) and attentive service. For special requests like dietary needs, celebratory notes, seating preferences or timing concerns, call ahead so the team can accommodate your visit, especially for birthdays or large groups.

Cafe Angelino is family-friendly, guests frequently dine with teens, children and even infants, and many families return regularly. The restaurant offers indoor dining and a pleasant outdoor patio that many families enjoy. There’s no explicit information provided about accessibility features (ramps, accessible restrooms), so contact the restaurant directly if you need specific accessibility accommodations.

Busiest: evenings (especially Fridays) and holidays, several guests reported loud dining rooms and long waits on special nights like Valentine’s Day. Quietest: weekday lunches and early weeknight dinners tend to be calmer. If you prefer quieter dining, request patio seating or an earlier reservation and avoid holiday evenings.

Weekdays, particularly Tuesday through Thursday, are ideal for a more relaxed meal. Guests often note that weeknights and weekday lunches are less crowded than Friday evenings and holidays. If you want a livelier, bustling experience, Friday or a holiday evening will deliver that neighborhood energy.

There’s no official waiting-list policy provided, but guests report long waits during busy nights and holidays and issues with reservation timing (especially on Valentine’s Day). The restaurant accepts reservations, but arriving early or calling ahead is recommended during peak times. If you have time-sensitive plans, confirm your booking directly with the restaurant.

Yes, many guests bring children and teens, and families report it’s a welcoming neighborhood spot for celebrations and regular dinners. The menu focuses on Italian pastas, pizza and classic entrees (no formal kids’ menu mentioned), so families often share plates or choose simpler pasta/pizza options. For younger children, consider an early seating or patio seating for a more relaxed experience.

Holiday hours aren’t specified in the provided information. Guests report especially heavy crowds and reservation issues on holidays (for example, Valentine’s Day). To avoid surprises, call the restaurant ahead of a holiday visit to confirm hours and reservation policies.

Yes, Cafe Angelino has a well-liked outdoor Euro-style patio. Many guests specifically praise dining on the patio as a pleasant option, and the owner’s description highlights patio seating alongside indoor dining.
