Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful space. It's rare to go to one of the best rated restaurants in the city and to feel comfortable and welcome w/o being rushed. We were given space to enjoy our meal and enjoy conversation and never felt, despite how wonderfully busy you are!, that we needed to leave (though we absolutely would have if there'd been a wait!). For reference, a group of three of us were earlier diners on a Wednesday, so completely understand this flexibility might not be available on Friday/Saturday nights, but it was such a treat. This spot is such a gem. And that's without even raving about how wonderful the food was!

I had a great experience at Cafe Suliman. It is a very quaint but bustling restaurant. The staff demonstrated excellent service and my group and I felt very taken care of. The quality of the food is great and a lot of care has been taken in every detail. I would definitely be back to enjoy more dishes.

We had a good experience at Cafe Suliman overall. The roasted red pepper muhammara was delicious, and the chicken entree was equally impressive. The cod, however, wasn’t our favorite. I also wish they had a more extensive natural wine selection, as I was hoping for more variety to explore. Overall, good food with a few standout dishes

Excellent food and service. Went totally vegetarian as my dinner date does not eat meat, and definitely did not miss it. Shared the carrots with whipped feta and harissa, the Halloumi dish, roasted cauliflower, labneh with roasted tomatoes, and Ben’s bread with za’atar and olive oil. Everything was prepared and seasoned perfectly. Had the olive oil cake for dessert. Had a really nice glass of red wine as well, but can’t remember which one. The atmosphere was great- the place was packed on a Thursday night. Attentive service. Not too noisy. Thought the price point was typical for the area. Will definitely be back.

If you’re looking for a quaint cafe, homely decor, that whips up delicious food and serves it in vintage crockery, Cafe Suliman is for you! Reservations are highly recommended, given that they have a small space. Depending on the day, the service can be slow if they’re understaffed - but they make up for it. Me and my husband dined here before our show at Paramount and it was perfect! We ordered some drinks, along with the Arabic coffee which was fantastic! We got the hummus with lamb on the side (for my husband to enjoy - and he loved it!). The cauliflower was my favorite, the halloumi was delish (a small plate, just a heads up) and the olive oil cake was an absolute hit! It’s a vegetarian friendly restaurant and I feel it’s meant for a date night or small groups (max 6, maybe 4)

We visited on a Saturday date night and REALLY enjoyed our food. Extremely delicious (best Middle Eastern food we’ve had in years), large portions, great value and nice service. We were (yet again) the last seating at 845pm, but easy to get a reservation on OpenTable. Atmosphere is more quiet than we’d prefer (a little more music and ambiance would be appreciated). Regardless I’d HIGHLY recommend visiting for dinner!
