What Insiders Are Saying
A nightclub pretending to be a restaurant, but with an actually decent seafood menu.
Have been there many times. The food was very salty.
Server was rude and pushy.
Excelente calidad en la comida y buen ambiente
We love the mushroom spaghetti. The deep fried red snapper is a must.
Very very expensive. We spent $225+ for 4 and left hungry. Lots of beautiful people to stare at, but they don’t look like they eat much.
very nice & very pretty & very expensive
Front girls are not friendly but once you get over them, the rest is amazing. Ignore the front hostess.
Catch is very pretentious and LA. I've been there five times and each time, despite having reservations, I was given an attitude by the waitresses and made to wait 45 minutes, if I even got a table at all. Twice I left without being seated at all.
It's very stuck up and the staff there act super self-important
Too bad because the food is amazing but oftentimes I find myself not wanting to risk wasting my night going home hungry.
Need better treatment of your patrons otherwise the bougie LA game will get so old that people will stop coming
Really blown away. Very friendly staff. Food was excellent. Overall an outstanding experience.
Amazing food! Recommend this to anyone looking for a great spot to eat inLA
While making the reservation, I added that we have a birthday today, and while we were in the restaurant we called and said to bring a cake with candles, to surprise our guest. But no one brought the cake or the candles
Just a nice dinner on a Tuesday
I enjoyed my first dining with Catch LA. I reserved the date 1 week advance. However, I arrived 20 minutes early to relax with a drink and take it all in. We/I waited an additional 20 minutes beyond the reservation time - I was not happy about this, but is the reason "in part" for the 4 stars. Parking, check-in down stairs and the bar was truly what all restaurants should offer for their patrons. The hosts were receptive, just not as "on point" as the Waitress, Bartenders and the others mentioned. The Vegan selections and organic food options were very good, but there was only 1 chicken breast offering which was 4/5 with respect to taste and presentation. The dessert was delicious and fun. Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes for service of entrees, but receiving the salads, appetizers and drinks makes the wait acceptable. The overhead music was a little loud, but that's the westside dining typical hip 30s/40s noise level. I would go again and now that I know what to expect, I may enjoy the experience even more.
Best in la
it was a really cute place for a birthday dinner but very expensive for the amount of food they give be prepared to spend $150
The food is truly delicious. Share the smallest plates...melt in your mouth goodness.
Catch is by far one of my favorite dining experiences in LA. Ambiance is great! Although I do enjoy dinner more-so than their brunch, but primarily because I’m not really a breakfast person.
A modern and lively atmosphere with scenic views of the city. Has a bar, indoor seating, and a backside patio that wraps around the restaurant. Food was delivered one plate after the other which kept it fresh. Our waiter Oliver was very knowledgeable and attentive. Would go again!
I was so excited to take my friend here for her birthday. We came from out of town and booked our reservation a week or so in advance. We get there and we are seated promptly and that’s where the good experience ended. Our server came out and told us about specials and told us about the sushi tower. He said it came with two sushi rolls and “some sushi in between.” We chose to order this because the two rolls we wanted were the ones that came with the tower. We waited around an hour and they bring it out and it has two rolls of sushi, two rolls of sashimi, and the top layer is filled with seafood. We were never told about the seafood. We end up paying over $200 when all we ate was two rolls of sushi. Our server didn’t return to our table not once. We had a new server after he realized we were unhappy. He was still tending to the tables around us but completely avoided us. None of the staff was helpful and nothing was done to try to alleviate our poor experience. We called after leaving and were told that a manager would contact us via phone/email and we haven’t heard anything.
You’re not paying for the food when you go to catch. You’re paying for the “atmosphere” and I really don’t think it’s worth it. The portions are small and the food isn’t amazing.
We absolutely loved our brunch at Catch LA. The Hit Me dessert was delicious! We will definitely be back!
The atmosphere is super fantastic but the food was terrible. I ordered waffle tower and salmon benedict, which was my big mistake...not fresh and it was not worthy compare with the price. I highly recommend to order at least except what I ate. By the way, the vibe was really impressive and good for insta.
The best restaurant I have seen in my life. The service was excellent
Special thanks to the Catch LA staff for a wonderful experience!
that took a while to seat us, other than that, great experience, very well done and impressive....
Best seafood restaurant I have ever been to! Everything was so fresh and delicious
The ambience at the patio when its light out is not very nice. It felt like we were sitting at Starbucks or something like that.
The food was just ok. The wine by the glass was good.
Such a good spot to see and be seen! Great food and service!
One of the best restaurants in L.A. Love this place. Beet-cured Salmon benedict was amazing.
Let me be honest! I only went to Catch LA to try to catch sight of some celebrities. I didn't see any celebrities, but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the food was superb! We drank the Lush Lemonade from the bar based on the bartender's recommendation and it was delicious. For dinner, we had the Catch Ceviche, then the Crispy Shrimp, followed by the Wagyu Gyoza, and finally the Snapper with the Lobster Mash. I can honestly say that the food was some of the best I had the entire trip. We ended the night with the Hit Me Chocolate Cake! The dinner was expensive, but I would return here again!
Loved it! Beautiful place for a date night.
Amazing place to eat! The Resturant is beautiful with a great space to sit outside. The retractable ceiling was a highlight during my evening meal. The food was spectacular especially the lobster Mac and cheese! I have been here many times and would go again!
Had reservations at 8:30 and they sat us at 10:05pm!
Food was awesome!! We ordered about 6 dishes and ALL were our favorites!!
The food was just “ok”. The grilled shrimp were good but the kids just want to go there because of seeing it on IG. The food isn’t that good. It’s a one and done type place
The ambiance was amazing, decor is unmatched and food was delicious. Can’t wait to return!
From the bigining to the end did not enjoy a thing front lady was rude food had no taste
No doubt a trendy place to see and be seen in LA. But the atmosphere while cool was a bit chaotic. We weren’t seated for a good 20 min after our reservation time and were repeatedly told to wait at the bar. And this was a Weds night! Definitely worth going but I doubt I’ll be a repeat customer. Seafood was solid but not worth the 400$ price tag for 4 and we didn’t even drink alcohol.
Over priced and limited menu. Tables are so close you can’t talk to your guest.
Food was great.. i felt rushed by the server still eating and wants to get the plate.. i did not get to take a pic of my birthday cake. I really felt rushed on my birthday
