With its signature open kitchen, set against breathtaking views of Downtown LA & the Hollywood Hills, the 340 seat rooftop haven invites the outside in as it blends great seafood with sushi, Asian influences & a streaming, shareable style of service.
With a focus on the food, CATCH LA keeps it fresh, incorporating local and sustainable ingredients wherever possible as it cultivates a menu mix of CATCH classics like Truffle Sashimi, Wagyu on a Rock and Cantonese Lobster, along with inspired renditions of Vegan and Gluten Free options.
What Insiders Are Saying
A nightclub pretending to be a restaurant, but with an actually decent seafood menu.
Great out door table, service was outstanding. Food and drinks were something else. I would say that the food did not live up to the look and service. Lobster mash side $19 and served at best Luke warm. Artichoke salad was huge but did not wow us on the taste. I will say the Filet was perfect and the scallops were above average. The chocolate dessert needed a kick. Maybe instead of milk chocolate more dark. I definitely will come back and try again. So understand you have 2 of 3 facets down, just need alittle kick on the food side.
I had a terrible experience at Catch. I originally had an 8:30 reservation but called to make it earlier to 8:00. The person on the phone said no problem so my friends and I arrived on time. The hostess said it would just be a few minutes but a few minutes turned into almost 50 minutes. We were given no sense of when we would actually get seated and the hostesses were all incredibly rude and didn't seem to care that we'd been waiting so long. We were definitely not the only ones who experienced an incredibly long wait on a MONDAY no less. We did get a free salmon dish which was appreciated but overall the food was not worth the incredibly long wait we experienced. Additionally, the only good value was the bottle of wine we got. None of the food was bad but for the price we paid as well as the wait, I was expecting to be blown away and I was not. Our waiter was also so/so - he needed to be flagged down a few times and didn't really do much to improve our experience. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant unless all you care about is being a part of the LA scene or being in the background of an Instagram story of an overly made-up 20-something.
Great place to eat. Make sure u have a reservation or else u will be waiting.
Great atmosphere, kind staff, and incredible food. Lots of awesome vegetarian options available, which you don’t always expect from a seafood-focused restaurant. I’d recommend it to anyone!
Really nice setting and fantastic food!!Definitely recommend Catch for dinner and drinks!!
I took my husband for Fathers Day and he enjoyed it tremendously. The service was excellent. Our server, Remington was outstanding and the floor manager Tim was extremely professional. The food was delicious and the drinks were fantastic. There’s not more than I can say, but EVERYTHING was great.
While the open roof and bar have a great vibe, the food is wildly overpriced and the service was marginal.
Beautiful restaurant, fantastic service, and delicious food
The Experience was fabulous everyone was nice and attentive to our table they saw a empty plate they picked up not like other restaurants that leave it at the end to pick it up.
Great food, good drinks, amazing views and vibe, and the tablet that let us all divide up and pay the bill without even bothering the server!!! That was amazing.
The setting was amazing! The service was exquisite. The food was delicious.
It was Father’s Day and we were seated outside right away as requested. The service was great and the stat pancakes we shared were wonderful. The remaining entrees were okay.
Delicious and beautiful decor.
long wait 1 hour for the table
Love catch la
An hour for table
Great vibe. The see and be seen crowd. A quintessential L.A. experience.
Best food I have had in a while! Lots of vegetarian and vegan options!
best cinnamon pancakes ever!!!!
We took our family to Saturday brunch to celebrate our daughters high school graduation. What a great experience! We had reservations and while we were waiting for our table, ordered a drink at the bar. Drinks are creative and tasty. At the table, we ordered poke bowls, burgers, truffle fries, lobster Mac n cheese, chocolate dessert and cinnamon roll pancakes. Everything tasted amazing and hot dishes came out sizzling hot. The ambiance is energetic and gorgeous! Make sure to stop on the flower hallway for some fun photos!
Levy, the waiter, deceived us into getting an appetizer that was way too much food for two people and overpriced.
Whatever. That’s LA.
Waiter was very nice.
Upon being seated at our table our waiter Benji quickly greeted my fiancé with a happy birthday starting our experience off with a very considerate and personalized touch. The service was prompt and accurate with the food and cocktails being made to perfection. Always one of our favorite places to go for special occasions and remains so.
Roman waited on us and the entire experience from drinks to food to ambience - it was a delicious experience.
I would’ve tried more dishes but I was full - so next time 🥂👍🏼 but for sure Daniel Ye (chef) has a great menu.
We were bullied by our waiter to Order more. He kept saying it’s not enough and kept recommending very expensive specials. He made us order 2 specials without the price and they were $195 each. Once the bill came he stood above our head, pressed the 20% (table of 4) tip button and once again bullied us to tip him 20%. Honestly wasn’t very nice.
Waiter was excellent all servings were delivered with perfect timing great night
Amazing service and the good was incredible!
This place is breathtakingly beautiful! The food is good as well but expensive. Come dressed to impressed as this is how everyone else is! Very LA, trendy, perfect for photos.
Service could have been better, Mara was our server
She keep me waiting around 35 mins for get my table ready
everything was great with the exception of having to wait an extra hour after our reservation time.
Our reservation was at 5:30pm and we weren’t seated till closer to 6pm. The hostesses seemed disinterested and unapologetic about the delay. Your staff was having the pre-meeting late and you had a crowd full of people waiting to be seated. I was surprised the manager wasn’t running around apologizing to everyone. Just felt like a miss for a place with such a reputation. I used to bring clients weekly to the NYC one. I’d second guess coming here for a business meal again with that kind of seating delay where the staff seemed to careless about the delay. Our waiter and associated staff was fantastic and made the rest of the night a lovely experience. I will return due to them redeeming the night!
Perfect from the moment we were greeted by the amazing manager Jenna.
It was amazing! A great spot to hang out. Great food, beautiful people
Food is excellent. We had grilled Spanish octopus. It was very pretty dish and grilled to profession. Scallop gnocchi was fantastic. The sauce was to die for. Sticky coconut cake was a bit too sweet. It was big enough to share. Overall everything is good but just very pricey.
The hostess are a bit snarky but that’s to be expected. But I love this place !
Music was way too loud. Felt like we were yelling over the table
Delish. Delish. Delish. Amazing food. Super friendly servers!
Great experience, the server Cali was magnificent.
Kate gave amazing service and made it special for my friend’s birthday. The atmosphere was really nice and food was great!
