   Breakfast was lovely and our server, Gene, was a superstar. In fact, he had been our server in the lounge four nights before, when we arrived. The room seemed a little understaffed, but Gene hustled and did right by us. The view was spectacular.

   Listen. Save your money and go some place else. Yes. The ambiance and the view is great. But for the food not worth 120 per person. There’s better food anywhere else where that will at least leave you full and cost way less.

   The views from the 16th floor were amazing, the breakfast was amazing, fresh, flavorful, great mimosas with fresh orange juice. It was a hidden gem that was not crowded.

   Sigh, I looked forward to this dining experience for a birthday for my significant other. The setting is beautiful and unique and hard to top in Seattle. The private dining rooms are chic and comfortable. However, the key to any fine dining experience is the food. The ingredients were fresh, high quality, and well presented, but on the first, second, third, and final bite, the feeling was...absent. There was no flavor or soul to the dishes. Peach gazpacho: fresh but lacking a distinctive peach flavor, there was barely a hint. Stone Oven Octopus: cooked well, but the most distinctive flavor was the sunflower seeds. Anderson Ranch Lamb: I've had more interesting pieces of Safeway porkchop prepared in my grandmother's kitchen (for free!) Lemon-Yazu Tart: tart level on a 1-10 scale, 2 :/ Was this a result of my particular path through the pre-Fixe menu or an indicator that the chefs need to reevaluate how they season their food? You decide, but I recommend enjoying the wine list, cocktails and views. Save your $150 a find another place for fine dining. I also tested negative for COVID, and my flavor receptors are fully functioning, evidenced by a variety of cocktails and deserts later that evening.

    You cannot beat the views. We were given a well-informed overview of the prix fixe, and ordered a specialty cocktail, which I think took so long to arrive, bc we were there at 5p, and the bartender may not have been saddled up yet. First course was like a prawn ceviche - and though I came with an appetite, the more like bay shrimp were still translucent and slimy in a warm vinegar - and just were not tasty. The main course of halibut came around 20 minutes later, which is just long enough to be annoying, if you’re still starving. When it came, there was a immediate coif of fishiness. It was rare, maybe 6 ounces and barely warm…smelled fishy. Neither of us (originally from Alaska) finished it, bc it just was…unseasoned, kind of slimy poached halibut. It was sitting in a stock with fiddlehead and half a mushroom. Again…meh. Now, though it took two hours and we woofed it down to go to the Candlelight concert, the lemon tart, wrapped in matcha with meringue sculpted into a rose with a vanilla cookie ring - with a steam under glass presentation was a delight. My friend’s raspberry soufflé was pink, eggy moosh…,but the bread and lemon tart almost made the $354 of cold fish worth it. Full circle. Our experience of Charlotte bummed me out. I had been looking forward to going for a while.

    Amazing experience and atmosphere. The food was delectable and presentation was impeccable. My server was quite amiable, but I believe I was served by a hostess and not a standard waiter/waitress. When I was served I did not consistently receive an explanation of the items as is typically found in such establishments, but I did not find this to be of much significance towards the overall experience. The view was breath-taking as noted in previous reviews.

    Roxanna was awesome and such a knowledgeable hostess. So glad we were seated in her area. Devin was just as fabulous. Everything was very good although it seems like you are under staffed. Breakfast took a long time to come out of the kitchen but that was ok because we were really enjoying the views of the water. Also it took about 20 minutes to get a to go box. We asked the manger, the busser, the other waiter but didnt get the box until Roxanna came back. She got it for us not long after we made the request of her. All in All. The Charlotte is no Ascend Restaurant (Bellevue ) but it was pretty good.

    Overall was just disappointing. We went for Dessert and drinks. Although the restaurant was fairly empty, we were told we could not sit on the side with the water. The raspberry soufflé was flavorless, however the chocolate cake was good.

    After hearing about this place initially from a friend, I took my family to Charlotte for a special occasion. When arrived at the restaurant, the concierge greeted us and the server took us to a table with a stunning view. I reserved the 4-course prix-fixe dinner and each of my family chose the starter, midcourse, entree, and dessert from available options (four to five each). When food was served, the server described what it is and the ingredients on the plate, which helped me remember what I ordered. The taste of the food was excellent, and each menu from starter to dessert was harmonious with one another. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has not visited and try the top-tier restaurant experience from Charlotte.

    First and foremost, thanks to our server Hibo for giving us a warm and pleasant experience all night! Came here on a Friday around 5 and enjoyed a four course prix fixe dinner. The food was as spectacular as the view. The place wasn’t too packed and we were able to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere in peace. Highly recommend exploring around the private dining spaces if they’re free as they make for great photo ops.

    The place is Beautiful and spacious, food is wonderful had carpacio, faux Gras, halibut and raspberry souffle. Just fantastic Michelle was a great server and people who brought food we're attentive. I live in nyc and this place would fit right in for foidies

    The food, service, and presentation were very good, and they accommodated my vegetarian needs. The space is open, not cozy, with a spectacular view. The prices are high, so I think you are paying somewhat for the view.

    First time at this beautiful restaurant in the Lotte hotel. It has a lot to offer by way of views and ambience. Best waitress in the entire city. They are luck to have her and I am sorry I forgot her name but made our evening one to remember. Ask her to have you take you to the private room with stunning view for an after dinner drink. Thanks for such a fun night.

    There was quite a bit of disorganization I think due to staffing issues. It took a very long time to get our food. The food was tasty, small portions. Quiet relaxing atmosphere for breakfast.

    Seriously disappointing. Wait staff were young, anxious and desperately inexperienced. Plates were repeatedly given to the wrong person. We were a party of 4 not 16, how hard is this? Food was poorly seasoned. Pea soup was dull, salmon was hard and uninspiring. Dessert looked pretty but was tasteless. We paid $1300 for a 4 person dinner. Seriously top dollar. We were rudely asked to move shortly after completing dinner from table to lounge. Really folks? We just spent a small fortune. Seriously disappointed. Last night we ate at Matt’s in the Market for 30% of the cost and 30 times the value. Skip this place.

    Sophisticated upscale modern up update interior beautiful lighting and beautiful views of downtown. Overall wonderful dining experience. There was a coffee spout at the dessert bar during our buffet so I thought that was included, but they ended up charging much us extra.. A little disappointed because the buffet that we ordered was very expensive .. But the food quality was delicious

    Charlotte is a gem! Every staff member was helpful and pleasant from the moment we entered until we departed after our brunch. The setting and decor created a relaxing Pacific Northwest ambiance. Our server was attentive and responsive throughout our meal. Bravo to the imaginative chefs who prepared a menu that was simply delicious. The beautiful spring themed dessert buffet was a spectacular coda!

    We chose the 4 course menu. Meh. The venison carpaccio was tasteless as was the soggy-like tortilla they served it on. Crab stuffed in cabbage was lukewarm and overly salty. Wagu beef was tender but there was nothing to cut the rich fat. Red velvet soufflé was non-descript. I found one raspberry on the bottom. Not worth the price. Would only return for a cocktail and the view.
