About this restaurant

The Chequers is a 17th Century Pub in the heart of Witney Oxfordshire. Our Head Chef Liam Grime MBE has developed a menu which focusses on seasonal locally sourced produce which is supplemented by daily specials and plenty of plant based options. We also have small plate dishes and Tapas. Wines on our wine list have been chosen to match our food and won't be found in other venues locally. If you want something different to wines we offer some excellent beers and cocktails too. Come along and see us and get a warm welcome.
