A fun date night dinner. Inventive snacks including grilled avocado with a delightful bread. Veggie sides of brussel sprouts, was crispy and not too heavy in oil as some are. The delicata squash was sweet and sour. My dining partner had the chicken sandwich but was perfectly crispy with kraut and potato sides. I had cobia with black beans and almond salsa verde.
We loved our drinks, red wine and a manhattan. Suck quality of food for under $100 with easy, comfortable service.
We'll be back!

Overpriced and underwhelming. Disappointing Vday experience.

Went for the pre-fixe Valentine's menu which was really different, not too filling (making for later agility! :)
We tied on the appetizer, entree. Then the dessert cam and that was the tie breaker. My wife normally does a fruity dessert, me chocolate. She liked my brie sandwich with chocolate and hazelnuts over her spice cake with creme, strawberries, tomatoes and granache. Inexpensive Wednesday wine offerings much like we buy at home, so no markup! yay, good job! Great service too. Attentive, but not overbearing.

I mean...this place was fantastic! My friend chicken sandwich was so tender and flavorful (my favorite dish in Austin so far) and my husband loved his burger. Great service, food, and atmosphere. 5+

The food was amazing. Service was good. It was a bit empty and felt a little like we were keeping the staff. The food was awesome!

I went to Chicon for the first time with a few friends for my birthday brunch. The entire staff was so friendly, the restaurant itself was very stylish, and the food was beautiful and delicious! I've already recommended it to several people in the 24 hours since eating there.

Everything started out pretty good. Our service was a little slow and there was quite the wait for our food. Good assistance and teamwork from other staff members to get our order put in, which was a plus. When it finally came out, both mine and my dates meals were lukewarm at best. Our server didn’t check on us while we were eating so we just ate it as it was. Server came at the end but we had already ate so we didn’t bother to bring it up or wait longer for new food. Even with it being on the cold side, it was decently tasty. I’d go back.

Food and service were great. My only complaint is the limited number of entree choices.

This was our first brunch at Chicon, and it was spectacular. As with the dinner menu, interesting varations on classic dishes as well as innovative preparations. As always, the staff is particularly welcoming, warm, and knowledgeable.

Our experience at Chicon for New Years Eve dinner was incredible. They had unbelievable, unique food, and each course was brought out with great timing. Also, our amazing waitress customized the menu for my mom, who is vegan, and paid very close attention to her needs. It was such a great experience and will definitely be back!

Our meal was lovely with creative vegetable options. We are not vegetarians, but feel overwhelmed with consistently heavy meat options at other restaurants.

Our family group of 11 went for a birthday celebration. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful with the kids. Everyone enjoyed the variety of appetizers, the cocktails and our meals.
We have fussy eaters, kids, gluten free, meat lovers and vegetarian in the family. All were pleased.
We will go again.

We went at the last minute for my sisters birthday and it was a great choice! All of us loved our dishes. I never order chicken breast out, but decided to try it and so glad I did. One of the juiciest and most flavorful chicken breasts I've had. My sister and brother loved the burger and fries. She blistered shishitos and fried avocado apps were sooo good! I had the Bees Knees and an Old Fashion and both were spot on. Definitely going back.
