Food overpriced. The restaurant was pretty much empty at the time we arrived (5:30pm) but service was slow and management wasn’t helpful when we asked to have ncaa basketball on large tv screens. I wouldn’t recommend
The service could’ve been a lot better the waiter did not bring my soup took forever to refill our water overall the waiter was not very attentive. The atmosphere outside was too loud so we dined inside and the food was very good
Food came out in an uncoordinated manner. Staggered awkwardly. My sausage flatbread was soggy. While we did get a birthday dessert for the birthday girl, someone else at the tabled ordered the brownie and we were advised they ran out (it was only 930pm in a very active City Place!). We’ve been here before during day time hours and it was great, for some reason tonight it was just “off”. Also, on another side note, when we came in the ufc fight preliminaries were on but by 945 it was removed, we asked if they could put it back but were advised they were never supposed to be on to begin with, it was an accident as they are not supposed to show boxing or ufc. Overall just seems no communication between staff. Our server mentioned she was very frustrated with the kitchen staff.
Visitor Sunday for brunch
Took the server minimum of 20 minutes to greet the table another 20 minutes plus to receive our first order of drinks
food took a very long time with no more than 10 tables at that time seating in the restaurant
orders came out wrong missing ingredients from a burger
Ask for another round of drinks again took about 20 minutes to receive them on the first order asked for a tall beverage and received the rock glass
the Bloody Mary was missing ingredients out of it when it was described on the menu to have these was not in there we asked the server for these ingredients, later was told that they do not have it in house
will try back again
Hopefully have a better experience than the first
i got salad with a piece of salmon...it was a chopped salad (I didnot realize but prefer larger pieces of salad materials) the salmon was fine was pricey for just that..the cocktails were very nice, the burgers were uninspired..just OK -- Fridays and ale house much much better and cheaper. The fried pickles were excellent.
The service was a little slow due to the amount of weights that were there that day.
But the food was exquisite and the best variety of beers to enjoy.
Food came out cold and filet minion sliders did not have an appetizing taste. Service was very slow and now consistent with waiters.
Sorry to hear that your sliders were not up to par on this visit, that is not what we aim for at all. I will share with the team so that we can improve on the service and the speed of the food reaching the table. I hope you can give us another try some time.
We enjoyed our dinner. The service was very good. Great beer selection!
Very good food and service. Good value, great location.
Very good food and service. Great for lunch, bu I'll try it for dinner too
Went there for a business lunch. They did not have much of a lunch crowd, so almost had the place to ourselves. The person I was meeting was running very late, so I had time to check out some of the craft beers. The bartender was very helpful.
Entree options were limited, but found the food to be excellent and great presentation
We never received our appitizer, and ended up just cancelling it because out entree came out first. Our waitress was no where to be found and antoher waitress helped us more often than our own.
Went for lunch, the place quickly filled up as a World Cup soccer match was starting- the place was a pin drop silence except when a goal was scored. Food was good, service was slow because of the sudden rush
I understand that there was a crowd did to the world cup, but there is no reason that it took 20-25 minutes for beer and refills. Our appetizer came out before our drinks did. We were told they didn't know there was a game that day??
Fathers day / Brazil game with family and friends. It was good service. Wait times were long at times but I would more blame it on the ocasion then the restaurant. Food was good.
Excellent service - our waiter, Humberto, was very attentive and knew the beer list extensively! He was able to make great recommendations! Would definitely eat/drink here again and would request to be seated in his section!
Very disappointed. they sat us down and 15 mins later nobody had acknowledged us. Move to the bar, only one bartender, did the best he can with limited resources
We walk in for our reservations at 7:45 there was literally 2 more tables other than us and we waited 15 Minutes and no one even bother to even bring us water so we got up and left
Good food , well priced. Good wine.
Food good but service very slow.
Tracy was excellent as a server. The BBQ pork nachos appetizer were excellent. We had Fish and chips Nd filet mug in sliders and would definitely have again. Loud, but fun, atmosphere.
Amazing restaurant. Amazing beer. Amazing food.
House music was so loud that I was literally yelling at my date. Turn the music down
The staff were attentive and welcoming. The menu selection was good as was the wine list.
The food was delicious, prepared with finesse and wonderful spices.
Can not recommend this restaurant enough.
Our meal was superb!
very nice restaurant in doral city place, a very good option for every day lucnh and dinning .
Great place to eat and drink. Excelent food and service.
Average spot in Doral. The place definitely needs more servers!
We made a reservation at City Works for Saturday, January 20, 2018 to mark my birthday. When we arrived at the place, we realized that it was closed.
When we made the reservation online, we were not told that the place would be closed that day. Disappointed by what happened, we had to choose another of the CITY PLACE restaurants.
Thank God, the night ended well despite all this.
We have not been able to test CITY WORKS yet, so I can not recommend it yet.
We made a dinner reservation for Saturday at 8:00pm to celebrate my husband's birthday. We arrived a few minutes early and as we walked closer to the restaurant, we noticed that all of the tables (inside and outside) were empty. As we approached the front door, the gentleman who inside was by the hostess stand turned off the lights and walked away. A sign was taped to the door advising that the restaurant was closed due to repairs being made. Given that we had reservations to celebrate a special occasion, it would have been courteous for the restaurant to contact us and advise us. We were left without plans, all of the restaurants in the area had a long wait (since it was a Saturday night), so we ended up having to dine at a casual, fast food establishment.
Service was ok, heard waiter complaining to hostess that he didn’t want our table prior to seating us. Food came out cold (restaurant was 1/4 full), but didn’t want to deal with sending it back to only receive reheated food. We really love their tap selection, but won’t be going back for the food. It’s a shame, could be like the Yardhouse of Doral.
Great space and food, but maybe needs to be promoted more to get its name out more. Both times I’ve been there (once during the week for dinner and a second time for Sunday brunch) it was pretty empty.
Food was ok although I feel they changed the menu not long ago. The spicy buffalo dip was really good. Service was good and the waitress was very attentive.
Good selection of burgers varied menu. One complaint on the ribs, not the first they have been over cooked and way too burnt. While they could be quite tasty, and I like my ribs dry, these were definitely left in the grill too long.
For a Saturday night I found way too many small children left unsupervised and running out of control for my liking. While all the adults were at a table by themselves they left seven little girls all under the age of 8 at the table next to me where they were jumping in the booth, constantly running right next to my booth, and leaning over crawling into mine. Not the adult outing I was looking forward to. I don’t blame the kids, I blame the adults not wanting to be parents.
Overall the food is good. The ambiance could be slightly better. While I do expect noise at a bar type establishment, the noise here made it impossible to listen to anything but the little girls in the booth next door that seemed to achieve a decibel rating beyond compare. I would have asked my server for a different table but I only saw her twice, once when we ordered and when we paid the bill.
Not my first time at city works probably won’t be my last. But won’t be back for a while.
Horrible service. Thought they were just lost when they first opened, but it has seemed to stay the same after 9 months. Most horrible servers ever. Do not recommend, stay away!
This was our first time at City Works for dinner. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday. From the moment we walked in the door, the service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The food was great and they have an AWESOME selection of beers. Will definitely go back.
Nice place and good service. Only thing I didn’t like was that it we went to watch the World Series and you could not hear it. Other than that I recommend it, fried pickles really good!
Everything was so good, went on a double date with some friends, only thing was that we had a 8:45 reservation and it took us forever to find a parking space and when we got to the restaurant it was 8:52 and they gave our table to the people infront of us because they have a “10 minute cancellation policy” but we were there before the 10 minutes. They did give us a table but just be on time for your reservation!!!
Birthday with friends!!
Good menu options...great for group dining. Great beer selection!!!
This has become our Friday night go to restaurant. My husband loves the beer selection and the buffalo shrimp. Service is good once you get someone to your table.
We love it here!
