Clockwork Rose Tea Emporium

This place was amazing. My daughter and I go out for holiday tea each year, this place is popular and hard to get into, so we moved it up a few months. I love that they cater to different diets (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free), and have a huge selection of teas, something for everyone. The atmosphere is very pleasant, parking was easy, and the food was plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend and will be going back.

This was a wonderful experience! Food was delicious, tea varieties were exceptional. Service was a tad slow, too much time lapses between food and server checking in. No service at the front counter, I would have bought multiple items had someone been available to help me. I would definitely go back. I can’t wait to visit again.

We already cannot wait to go back! The food was amazing, the tea selection was unbelievable, and the atmosphere was incredible.

I have been to the tea house several times and even enjoyed tea on their opening day! All i can say is the years of growth have allowed the tea house to become a hot destination where reservations are required!

One of the things I appreciate about Clockwork Rose Tea Emporium is the attention to the quality of tea, and the warmer for the tea pot. I don’t care for lukewarm tea! The food is delicious, and the decor is fascinating. It is a little spendy, though, and a less expensive option, with less food, would be nice.

The meal is expensive, so if I want English breakfast tea, please just give that.
You may bring 2 teas, but bring my choice and the one you recommend .
I do not like cold bread, cold sandwiches doesn't equal to cold bread to me.

This is a special place to enjoy an elegant time with someone special. High tea and fantastic house made treats.

Spacious, endless number of cool, reasonably priced products in the shop, decor is eclectic and fun. Probably the coolest washroom I’ve ever seen, love the flooring. Clearly a lot of time has been put into curating this tea house, staff and owners are very knowledgeable, food was delicious and more than enough for the price, and they were kind enough to provide to go boxes for leftovers. The owner kindly made my toddler a little fruit tea, if you’re looking for a unique but true afternoon tea experience, this is it!

Such an amazing establishment. The owners have such creativity and skills for the food. Chelsea, part of the wait staff, was incredible as always. Such a joy to talk to too and see. My wife and I cannot wait to come back!

Best tea experience I've had and I have been to many different tea rooms.
Decor was industrial Jules Verne meets Queen Victoria and delightful.
Food was amazing, as was the tea selection. Very courteous and professional staff.
Will be going there again soon!

Loved this place! One of our new favorite spots for afternoon tea in Portland. I highly recommend if you're looking for delicious food and an extensive list of teas. We've tried many places for afternoon tea across the US, and this is one of our favorites!

The food was excellent and the tea education was very informative. Thoroughly enjoyed the Soho blend of tea. The scones and clotted cream were especially delicious. They were very accommodating and even gave us our leftover tea to go. We were celebrating our birthdays as a group. At the end of our tea they brought each of a surprise dessert with a candle to celebrate our birthdays. Lovely! Would definitely recommend and will return again.

My twin sons who are leaving for college soon took mom to tea, they know me so well. I totally loved it. It's very eclectic, a little Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter and perhaps Cptn. Nemo. The teas are top flight. The food was pre selected so you got what you got but very good. The owner is highly allergic to perfume, so don't wear any or you may be rescheduled. It was a really special lunch with my boys.

This was our second time at this tea house. The second time was every bit as good as the first which was excellent. The owners have served us both times and other staff have been helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The food is outstanding and the teas marvelous. Listen as the teas are supremely described and pick the one that suits your fancy. Highly recommend this place.

The food is just not good, especially for the price. The tea was good though, but for $35, just not worth it.

Although it was a cute little place and the idea is fun and different. It is extremely overpriced. For two people to have tea, a small cup of soup and a three tier plate I walked away paying $75.00.
I would understand maybe $40-$50 but $75 was completely overpriced... it was a fun little place but we won’t be going back.

I took 2 of my girls for a special end of summer treat before school starts. We had such a great time. Everything was so pretty and the food was delicious! The waitresses were friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go again!

Extensive variety of high quality tea. Food and ambiance were great. Well definitely be going back. We’ve been trying put a new tea shop every few months and this was either the best or second best.

One of the best afternoon teas ever! The food was delicious and tasted like everything was from scratch, the ambience was beautiful steampunk.

The owners came to our table for a delightful conversation with owners. Their explanation of the teas served was thorough and enticing. The food served was exactly what you would expect for a high tea, with a surprising twist to the execution. Finally, the ambiance and theme made entire event something to be remembered.

Went here to celebrate my birthday. It was absolute the best! Tea & food was awesome they even made stuff for a few of my friends that had specific food allergies. I love going here!

This was the perfect place to celebrate my Mom’s 70th Birthday party. The tea selection was amazing (Harney & Sons). The staff was very accommodating to special diets). My favorite sandwich was the tomato basil and my favorite sweet treat was the dairy free lemon bar. At the end of our tea the owner cam out and presented my mom with a special cupcake. Beautiful place, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thank you for spoiling us!!!

I loved the décor and the service was excellent. My only complaint would be that the price is a little high compared to other tea houses I have gone too. I am sure I will return though. The food was good, and as I said, the service was excellent.

We had a wonderful time and for many in our group it was a first experience. I highly recommend this tea house.

Fun, quaint, adorable place with great food, phenomenal tea, and excellent service. Not cheap but worth every penny. We will be back!

It was a fun outing with my mom. The choices of tea and explanations were great. The desserts and scones were awesome. The strawberry soup was... Weird. I wasn't a fan of the sandwiches. My mom didn't like the flavor of tea that she picked but we didn't know she could change until at the very end... Oh well. They let you take the tea with you, That was nice. The ambiance could be better, I think. Would be better with nicer floor, more separation between tables, more decorations (not just bare wall with a huge square clock). Service was great, it was fun. Expensive but good for a very special occasion.
