About this restaurant

I love food, and everything that goes into preparing a meal to be shared with family, relatives, and friends. Enjoying a meal with a glass of wine brings back those dearest memories of my childhood spent moving and traveling through Vietnam, Laos & Thailand.

Co Nam, brings comfort Vietnamese food and the occasional twists to a set that are the bits and pieces of my childhood memories. Cá Kho Tộ (Caramelized Basa Fish Clay-pot), and Thịt Kho (Braised Pork Belly) are a couple of dishes that I often cook with my mother over an open hearth; but in retrospect, I enjoyed eating a lot more.

On behalf of my staff, we look forward to seeing you and your family. We hope you enjoy the food, drinks, and atmosphere as much as we enjoyed putting them together.

Sincerely,
Trung D. Nguyen

We liked our dishes very much. Unfortunately, the service was nothing special. But overall we really liked it.

I tried this out with my husband on a Friday night. The food was very unique and delicious, however, the service was just mediocre. A table of two that was sat after us was greeted and served before us. The waiter also kept forgetting whether he had taken our order or cleared our plates. It was weird.

It was a Tuesday night and they were overwhelmed. Our dinner took an hour to arrive. By that time we had to go home and barely were able to enjoy our food.

The food was terrific with the menu featuring some unique traditional vietnamese dishes with some modern twists as well as some more recognizable asian dishes. Dishes were served hot to the table, the small kitchen really cranks out some volume as there was a line out the door of people waiting for a table for most of the night. Drinks were very good as well, the menu featuring a wide variety of beers, cocktails, and wines. I would highly recommend visiting Co Nam if you get the chance, you wont regret it.

Everything we ordered was fantastic - would definitely recommend the pork buns and the shaken beef. Service was great the first time we stopped by for a late lunch - attentive, but not too much. Busy dinner service was another story - waited almost 20 minutes before someone even took our drinks order. The food was delicious but think next time we'll stick to off times when it's not quite so busy. All in all, would definitely recommend but a little patience is necessary

Did not expect this to turn out that well as we changed plans last minute. Co Nam was amazing, with a really new and exotic twist on the dishes. Definitely worth a try!

This is delicious authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The menu features a variety of small plates, as well as a nice selection of entrees. We had vegetarian spring rolls, spicy devil wings, wicked buns, and shaken beef--all outstanding. There is also an impressive selection of both beers and wines. Everything was outstanding, including the service.

The chicken dishes were outstanding. The boneless thighs that accompanied the rice bowl were plump, almost silken beneath a mildly charred exterior. Reminiscent of the grilled chicken satays from my hometown in Southeast Asia. The fiery, candied coating on the spicy devil wings delighted us with its unique combination of flavor and crunch. The wicked buns were a little dry for my taste, relying on the strip of pork belly fat that isn't distributed evenly throughout the bun. Would have preferred a sauce within to add juiciness. The mango sticky rice was rather bland. But overall, the ambiance, excellent service and finger-lickin chicken make for a good date night.
