Colita offers a dynamic experience with "wonderful food" and "polished service" in a vibrant setting, though occasionally loud. The menu is entirely gluten-free, featuring standout dishes like the "eggplant tostada" and "churros." Consistently praised for its "amazing" flavors and creative cocktails, Colita is a top choice for many.

Very pleasant efficient service in a bustling environment. Cocktails and food were wonderful. Though they had run out of my first choice meal (Stuffed Gordita,) the Tuna Tostada, Chicken Tinga Tostada, and Pork Belly Pincho—all shared with my wife—were excellent. The smooth jalapeño heat of my wife's La Verdita cocktail kept her on pace with the enjoyment of my first consumption of sotol in the SNK. We will most certainly visit Colita again!

We love Colita. It might be the best restaurant in the Twin Cities. The eggplant appetizer is awesome and every dish was outstanding. The service was excellent and the noise level was surprisingly quiet given how packed the restaurant was. The prices are also not outrageous so the value was great.

This is one of our go to restaurants. Not only is a great place, for me, it is a safe place as well. I must eat gluten free and Colita is a gluten free restaurant.

first-time visitors to Colita, a neighborhood restaurant, the reports are mixed but we decided to rate it ourselves. the first blush was an overwhelming level of noise, this is not energetic it is creating a dining experience that requires you to nearly yell accross the table, acoustics were so poorly designed that it destroyed the experience before we began. had a cocktail that was good if not skimpy with glass of ice cubes to the brim of the glass. result we departed without dining, went to Broeders and that is an energetic level of noise.

4th time dining at Colita, not as good as previous experiences. Service was outstanding. Ambiance unchanged but the restaurant temp was cold (air conditioning turned on plus the restaurant’s large side doors wide open, about 55 degrees outside) and the music was too loud—neither of these issues occurred before. All dishes were great except the most expensive one, the carne asada which was so tough that it was practically inedible.

Haven’t been here in a few years. Air condition was fulllllll force. Freezing in the dinning room until 10pm. Had to wear outdoor coats. It was 5° outside. Server forgot about allergy. Had to chase them down to correct and fix. 1/4 dishes was horrible. Expensive. Not the vibe it used to be. Won’t be back. Will spend money at Martina instead. Did sit at the bar and had a great drink / chat w the bartender.

Very noisy. The eggplant tostada is the best dish in the twin cities.
