Cooks & Soldiers
They always treat us right. Fantastic time and a great set of people, backed by a great kitchen with awesome food.
While you can go with two people, it was fun to go with a group. We had 6 people in total and we got to share a lot of different things. The meatballs and mushroom toast are a must. The cocktails list was delicious as well. Because of the size of our group, our waitress created a menu for us. It worked out perfectly. Will definitely be back!
This was my second time to dine at Cooks & Soldiers. The first time it was amazing and that was about 4 years ago. I have had it on my bucket list to return and am disappointed by myself for not coming back sooner! We started with the olives and they made my wife happy but it was just okay to me. It was followed by the smoked salmon (Salmon Ahumado) on toast points. The flavors in your mouth came alive all at once! Loved it!
We ordered three small plates to share lobster pasta (Fideua de Langosta), meatballs (Iberico Albondigas) and the grilled cheese sandwich (Bikini). All three were spectacular in their own right, but, that grilled cheese is beyond amazing! It is crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside, the Spanish ham adds some salty goodness and the black truffle is just simply delicious.
We then shared the small fish from the wood fire grill menu and it was very good, but the potatoes (Patatas Murros) were so good! Crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked throughout and seasoned with enough salt to fully enjoy the flavors. We ordered the mushrooms with this as well, but they were better in my omelette the next day. Our server was Alfred and he was enjoyable and the perfect balance of being present and conscientious but not over bearing.
We socialized with the two tables next to us and enjoyed the oohs and ahhs as each dish came out and even shared some of food with them! So much fun!
We were looking forward to dinner before going to the Fox for Jersey Boys. Knew it was owned by same group as Iberian Pig which we have been to several times. Drinks were average, food was so so and service was poor. I've been to several tapas restaurants in Atlanta that are far better than C&S. Very disappointed!
Okay. I’ll start by saying I love food and work in the industry! So I know how hard a Friday night can be but our server was Mary & she was awesome! My friends and I were meetinnafter not seeing each for forever & celebrating new jobsthe service was great the food was amazing !! We will definitely be back (and ask for Mary duh!) the cheesecake and Salmón Ahumado was my Favorite & the tiger cocktail! YUMM . The manager also brought us a toast to celebrate our new jobs all around 100% great night oh and the bartender was nice before we sat at our table too!
So delicious! It was delicious from the beginning to end. Our waiter, Jack, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and kind. This is a top 10 restaurant for us in Georgia. Our favorite dish was the rapini- the char of the vegetable and the most amazing tomatoes - I wish I could eat this dish now and I am writing the review.
Great service and experience. Food is tasty but just okay. Not spectacular. I would recommend the smoked salmon dish that was the table favorite.
Love this place. Had an awesome waiter - Ryan? - hard to remember his name as he recommended and we imbibed lots of great Spanish wines. Food, drink, service and fun are amped up here. In a city full of great restaurants this is near the top.
Welcomed with open arms... excellent service and food
Manager was very kind and brought out cava for us to toast the birthday girl!
Incredible food! Our favorite restaurant on our recent trip to Atlanta.
Paul, our server was patient and attentive, as well as the other staff. The manager even had avocado toast (non-menu item) prepared for my friend. I am big on ambience and this place did not disappoint. The food (I had off menu north georgia trout & sagara tarta dish for dessert) was seasoned to perfection and served almost immediately upon ordering. No complaints on this end. I will definitely return.
This was a great experience, we have bee here before, it never disappoints. We look forward to the next visit in.
Cooks and Soldiers has gone down hill quickly. Used to have awesome food, but seems to have lost focus. Sad!
Always amazing food, setting and service. We get out favorites to share then try new ones. Never disappointed. Great Spanish selection of wines too
Food and service was outstanding! Looking forward to returning again soon!
Amazing cocktails, food, wine, service and ambience!
Great place for a large group. We had 14 people and the wait staff was attentive and made awesome suggestions for what and how much to order. Food was delicious. Highly recommend.
Concert for P!bk
We enjoyed interesting tapas. Only tried half of the extensive list which leaves options for another visit. The portions are generous for tapas. The wine list is on the pricey side for bottles so we ordered cocktails. Good international wine list featuring Spanish wines from many regions. Service was outstanding. Bar seating is comfortable.
The food we ordered is too salty for us. But, overall the sauce, freshness, and food quality are good.
Superb service from everyone we came in contact with as well as great food and ambiance
Great food but sub-par service. Our waiter was stellar, but we had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated for a reservation. The bar was slammed, and there was only one bartender, so we basically had to order drinks then huddle by the door with everyone else waiting for a reservation. By far the most annoying thing about our meal was waiting for our bottle of wine. Supposedly the sommelier has to serve the wine, which was especially irritating as we saw him chit chatting and leisurely strolling around. We didn't get our bottle for probably about 20 minutes after ordering. When it was served, I have to say I was underwhelmed by his presentation (both of the wine and professionally.) It added nothing to our experience. Will likely go back, but not in a hurry.
We had a great time, but always takes forever to get a drink.
Delicious Basque food, cordial and relaxed atmosphere. Our server, Jack, was top-notch and attentive in just the right way.
VERY LOUD! My ears were ringing when we left. TOO LOUD, in my opinion! Wine list was superb! Had the best Malbec I’ve ever enjoyed.
Amazing food and service! One of my favorite restaurants!
Every plate was wonderful
5-star service and cuisine. We love bringing out of town friends and family here because we know the food is delicious and the service is impeccable.
Excellent service. Excellent food. My wife and I always enjoy our experience at Cooks and Soldiers.
Very nice evening, service was great. We tried a few new things which was fun!!
Best pulpo ever.
Seated 30 minutes late, but they were very apologetic and immediately brought us treats to offset wait. Overall, great restaurant. Food was awesome and staff were very proactive in looking after your satisfaction.
The best servers in Atlanta!
Service was impeccable, food was amazing and awesome to dine in an beautiful atmosphere...
Very good restaurant, with creative kitchen and thoughtful service.
Fantastic dishes--tried 10 and all were great. Will visit every time I'm in town.
We had to wait in the bar for a bit upon arriving at 755 for our 8o’clock reservation. We received excellent and immediate attention at the bar. Once seated, our waiter was superb in recommending various tapas (and remembered to acknowledge and celebrate the birthday of our dear friend! The tapas were wonderfully delicious!
Impeccable staff -- we felt very welcome with the staff and their level of attentiveness. Enjoyed the interesting selection of tapas. Mary at the bar made us awesome Old Fashioneds.
Always phenomenal food and great service. I love this place.
