The restaurant was great the service at the value was disrespectful, and discriminatory. I wouldn’t return because of the valet and the way they treated our family.

I had forgotten why I stayed away from this restaurant. The place was super packed. The noise lever was 1000. You had to scream so the other person could hear you. Our waiter took forever to bring us water so you can imagine how long the food took. The food was actually good and for that alone I have it a 3 stars. We had to look for our waiter constantly because he would disappear. Lesson learned. I rather spend my money in a place I can have a conversation without screaming.

It wasn’t until we walked in that we realized we had visited in another state, but our visit was even better than we remembered! First of all, our server Fabian was an absolute delight. Super friendly, attentive and made us feel so special. We were celebrating my birthday and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The food was amazing, the wine tastings were so much fun, and they were absolutely so attentive to us the entire evening. We would go back in the New York minute!

We had a fantastic experience on Saturday night. The restaurant was busy with large groups and various celebrations but our server Amanda handled it with ease. Our food was great and she never missed a beat. Will definitely return and request to be her section.

We visited your restaurant to celebrate my grandson’s graduation. Before our arrival, I called to request a table away from the hustle and bustle of the kitchen, bathroom, or service areas. I was assured this would be “no problem” and that I could simply remind the staff upon arrival. Unfortunately, the opposite occurred. My grandson arrived first, and instead of being taken to our table, he was told there were “others before us” and that he needed to wait. Others? We had a reservation for eight at 7:00 PM. When the rest of our party arrived, we were led to a table directly beside the service area, where there was constant traffic. I asked for a different table, and the hostess from the front came over. She informed us that the two tables in the rear were reserved and that “youz guys” were assigned to the table we were given. Really, “youz guys?” I explained I had made the reservation and that my name was Dr. Torres. A man then appeared, presumably a manager, and immediately became defensive. He offered no apology and focused instead on justifying the seating of the party at the rear tables. I don't tolerate poor customer service, so I told him to forget it, and we sat down, determined to make the best of the evening. This was not our first visit to this location, and we had expected the level of service we had previously enjoyed. Then everything changed. Amanda, our server, was the highlight of the evening. Her attitude was warm and positive, and she anticipated our needs with genuine care. She offered thoughtful suggestions, ensured every detail of our meal was perfect, and even brought over a bottle of Sambuca we enjoyed so we could photograph the label. Her professionalism and kindness put the earlier interactions to shame. After our meal, she appeared with a dessert and candle for my grandson. The food was excellent and beautifully presented — five stars. But Amanda? She deserves ten.

For a quieter date, try an early weekday or request a booth near the wine bar.

Warm, inviting and wine-focused, guests frequently describe Cooper's Hawk Doral as elegant yet casual, great for date nights, family dinners and celebrations. It depends on your goal. For a lively night with full wine-bar energy, go weekend evenings (Friday/Saturday) or weekend brunch. Many guests note hearty portions for items like short ribs, risotto and some entrees, while a few guests reported smaller-than-expected portions on special promotions. Appetizers and shareable plates (Brussels sprouts, flatbreads, Drunken Shrimp) are popular for splitting. If portion size matters, ask your server for recommendations or whether an entrée is large enough to share.

For a lively wine-and-dinner experience go on Friday or Saturday; for a quieter, more relaxed meal pick a weekday (Tuesday–Thursday) or weekday lunch. Weekend brunch is popular too if you want a social, festive vibe. Choose based on whether you prefer bustle and energy or a calm dining experience.
