Outdoor seating was crammed with people, no social distancing at all. Waiters were literally squeezing between tables. Service was poor, my pasta was overcooked and all the food was drenched in oil and or butter. Coppa used to be a favorite. Now, no more. Do not go if you want to feel safe, be well served and eat well. Oh, our table had a whole corner broken off.

The music was too load and inappropriate. Not the kind of music I expect in a restaurant. More appropriate to a pizza parlor or bar. It is a little dark, too. Needed my flashlight to read the menu and bill. The food and service outweigh the negatives.

My wife and I returned to Coppa Osteria for lunch after seeing Stanley Tucci, Searching for Italy on CNN. We found Italy in Houston. Alejandro served us expertly and the food was over the top outstanding. Such a great local Italian gem.

My daughter and I had a leisurely lunch last Thursday. We had to send the wine back because it was oxidized. Our charming server, Alfredo handled the situation with grace. He was so pleasant and gave us time to relax and enjoy the meal.

Carbornara is absolutely amazing and one meal we can't go without ordering at least once in the group.

We declined to take a table offered to us right next to the Host check-in desk. It was right where people gathered and lots of traffic. We felt it was too crowded and not safe so we waited for another table and were seated within a few minutes at another table.

The waiter for our table apparently shared duties with another waiter. Our orders were often confused and repeated and we had to cancel one wine order because the 1st waiter already took it and the 2nd waiter had to chase down the 1st to cancel it as he had separately got to fill it.

We didn't feel special. We felt like we had to keep track of our waiters.

Great service, very attentive without being too intrusive. Sea bass for lunch special was delicious! The warm toasty bread was wonderful on a chilly rainy day- so good that we asked for seconds.

Always love eating here. Great outdoor patio.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Houston. Always our go-to when we want delicious pasta and pizza in an upbeat, casual atmosphere. Great service.

We are here for New Year’s Eve and it was lovely! The food was amazing and the ambience was fun and festive. The bottle of champagne special was a great touch. We will be back!

Food was great! The only draw back was that I made a 7:30 reservation for inside and we still waited an hour for a table! Very disappointed.

Only one other table was occupied during my lunch. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. I recommend the Pinot Noir @ $11 per glass. Worth every drop.

Not as good as usual—service was lacking and pork chop Soecial was so-so and too small of a portion. Compare to La Griglia. Will try again. Inside is better than outside in general.

Our reservation wasn’t managed well. We sat at the bar waiting for our table and were forgotten. When we asked they rushed to sit us at a table by the door. Cold air was rushing in every time someone opened the door. We asked to move and were immediately.
Food was delicious and hot.
Harrison was a good server.
My husband’s birthday wasn’t acknowledged...and I stated that on the reservation.
The music played is awful. I understand that there is a generation gap, as we are in our 50’s...but every time we have dined here, I have hated the music. There has to be a middle ground for music.
