What Insiders Are Saying
Cosa Buona is a neighborhood pizza joint from the people behind Alimento. So, yeah, it’s pretty wonderful.
This was our second time and it lived up to the first which was excellent. Caesar salad is the best. The meat lovers pizza was also excellent. Mushrooms were meh. Sorry we didn't get the tiramisu. We had it the first time and it was great...the people next to us ordered and when it arrived we realized that we should have..but it was too late.
Amazing service and delicious food. This place has become a neighborhood staple for my partner and me.
Amazing meal. Every dish we ordered was absolutely perfect. Will definitely come back very soon
Family visiting from Mexico
I loved the restaurant! A really nice neighborhood place with delicious food and great ambience. Their arugula salad is to die for! Great service. Definitely recommend.
Yummy food! The ricotta pizza is delicious! The place is small, so I highly recommend making a reservation. Salads are great. They have a nice small bar in the space as well. I definitely want to go back!
Delicious food, but they didn’t really allow for substitutions on the pizzas (tried to add pepperoni to the mushroom pizza). Overall really good though, and helpful that they have valet.
Cosa Buona is quickly becoming our favorite neighborhood spot. This time was date night on Sat and it was packed but we also love it on a random Tuesday when we get a booth to ourselves. The staff are always super friendly and helpful, the food is consistently outstanding, and the ambience somehow manages to be casual and chic at the same time.
Love love love
Great service, great natural wine list, good value. The pizza crust was perfect, but the toppings were very light which made me feel like I just ate a big loaf of bread – a bit disappointing.
Chill. Cool. Make reservations.
We have been here a few times. The food is very good, but everything else is a little off. The table layout is really awkward; the host stand is unorganized; it's shared plates, but everything comes out all at once rather than in courses, as similar restaurants do; and the music level is very loud. The result is that you get great food at a price you would pay at any mid-range restaurant in L.A., but the experience and ambiance of a bar that serves food. If they could fix even a few of these, and it would be easy, maybe turn down the music a touch, pace out the order and get the seating plan organized, I would be a frequent patron. For now, I only go once-in-awhile when I feel like putting up with these small annoyances to eat the food, which really is very good.
Great food, attentive staff.
As always the food atmosphere service and everything about cosa bruins is amazing.
The restaurant was randomly closed on a normal night - we didn't get any notice from the restaurant and we had made a reservation on line. Very disappointing.
Amazing food! Everything on the menu is excellent.
Come here quite often and never ceases to amaze me. Consistent in quality of food and service. Not much more to say, easily too 5 on my list of restaurants in LA.
Always a great experience and amazing food!
This is one of the best most consistent spots. Their pizza is BANANAS
Great atmosphere and service. Not too impressed with the food. I had the chopped salad and it doesn't say that there is kale in it on the menu....a lot of kale. I hate kale and was extremely disappointed with it. There was barely anything healthy to eat on the menu (if at all), so my choices were very limited. It's not really an Italian restaurant if that's what they're going for. Fried chicken and fried potatoes are not Italian the last time I checked. So, needless to say, I won't be going there again. Staff was friendly though. Bummed I wasted $24 on a meal I didn't like at all.
Love it! Wish they has mixed drinks/cocktails. Xxoxoxoxoooxoxixixizixixixixixizi
Always fantastic and the staff are cool and friendly!
Come here quite often and is one of my favorite spots to go. Everything is Really good. Chicken parm sandwich, meatballs and pizza are all a must.
Top 3 restaurant in LA. Food is always excellent. Service best in la. Ambiance perfect.
A little too noisy, so-so food.
Won’t come back. Too many other great places
Cosa Buona received many recommendations yet upon eating there...the food fell short. We had pizza which was Pizza...nothing to blow your mind over. We also had clams as an appetizer...honestly coming from the East Coast...these tiny itty bitty things were more like barnacles than clams...they tasted ok but just over priced and stupid. Don't get me wrong I think the place is "OK" but seriously for three people beers from a can and pizza with an appetizer...$150 is a bit NUTS.
Delicious food, great service, solid wine list. My only complaint is that it was very loud and pretty difficult to hear the person on the other side of the table.
Fantastic pizza, legendary wings, perfectly executed dishes and friendly service. Cosa Buona is my favorite neighborhood spot. Pro Tip: eat some dank tacos across the street @flamin tacos if you have to wait for a table and are starving.
The broccolini.... I could eat that everyday, all day long!! Great pizza!!
Food was great. Service is well-intentioned but a little chaotic and disjointed.
Great food and service! Pizza was amazing
Food was great! service was exceptional
Very underwhelmed by this place. Won’t be returning. We were celebrating a birthday with nine people. Felt like we were in the way. Left as soon as we finished eating the so-so food.
Delicious delightful de-lovely meal, service and outstanding dining, quality all around!! Come here regularly and look forward to it every.Single.time!
Food is simply awesome--
Pizzas, eggplant parm, salads, meatballs--
Need to install window shades. I sat at a window table and the sun was beating down on me and it was too hot.
I'm not sure how you expect people to eat your artichoke. At first I thought it was cooked to the point where the leaves might be edible, which wasn't the case. Since it was too oily to eat with one's hands, I tried with a fork, which meant forking the pieces into my mouth, trying to eat the "meat" around the heart, and spitting the rest out—I gave up after a few attempts of this.
Never need to go to Mozza again! And Food is equal or better to Scopa in Venice.
I am sorry to say that I felt the crust should have been better. Maybe a hotter oven(?) because it was neither flavorful nor very crisp. The toppings were delicious and the salad was good. However our key lime pie was not fully chilled and partially melting.
Some of the side dishes looked great that were passing by and I think that is what I would have if I was ever there again. *The meatballs looked amazing!
That being said, the reception, our server, the staff were so nice and lovely. And the space is good.
I hate to not give it 5-stars but after knowing what Alimento puts out, I feel like this could be better m
