    The prime rib was outstanding, rivaled a steakhouse portion and quality without a steakhouse price!!! The halibut was equally delicious and the accompaniments on both entrees were generous and tasty. I’d like to mention even their complimentary bruschetta and bread selections (served by staff) is a nice touch to round out a complete meal. As always, service and attention to details was fabulous. Bridget added to the experience with her professional manner and quick service. Lino is always there with a smile and welcoming attitude which is why we enjoy returning and recommending Davenport Press. There are many options for going out near Garden City but at times other restaurants are inconsistent in service, food quality and preparation, here we are never disappointed. Thank you for a great meal & service. Laura F.

    Davenport Press is one of my go-to spots for a delicious, consistently enjoyable meal. My favorite is the pistachio crusted trout with perfectly cooked mixed vegetables, and I love ending on a high note of a beautifully made cappuccino. Conveniently located just a 3 min walk from the beginning of track 2 for those traveling by LIRR. It's a warm, reliable favorite that never disappoints.

    Delightful place with excellent Italian-inspired cuisine. Attentive and pleasant service. Charming colonial atmosphere; pleasant buzz but quiet enough to be able to have a conversation at the table. We had a party of 5, and everyone enjoyed their meal very much - ranging from mussels to lobster to pork ossobuco with homemade tagliatelle, to fish to beef. Highly recommend.
