Great as always. Light crowd these days.
Excelent atmosphere and outstanding good quality food. The only setback was the waiter. He seems to be a good person lacking training to serve with style and knowledge in such a wonderful place.
Most probably a mistake from the responsible of customers service.
It was wonderful. We had a great waiter. The only thing that was so disappointing is they ran out of creamed spinach (6:00 reservation). I’m sure it was a supply issue.
1- very slow service
2- no bread for the table
3- quality of food was not good at all.
It was my mate’s birthday!
Took 1 hour just to be served luncheon
Despite relatively few diners, service was off. Took very long for simple things like drinks to arrive with a lot of “it’s coming” comments.
Towards end of meal, waiters were more interested in preparing for service the next day versus assisting diners
Were out of a lot of the drinks - oddly
Felt fairly defeated at end of meal
Not what I would expect for $250 for two people
We had a wonderful dining experience and looking forward to our next visit.
I love this restaurant! It's been one of my favorites for a few years now.
Went to celebrate my cousins birthday and the food and service was excellent. Our server Maurice was excellent and we will be back
Justin was an outstanding server!
Fantastic food, cool contemporary decor, good service although there was an oddly long wait to get a simple glass of house wine. Prices overly high but that was known before going and it was a vacation treat dinner, so no biggie. Drinks definitely overpriced though. Overall a very good time and would recommend to anyone. Excellent steaks!
The food was very good, and the ambiance and hostess were both very pleasant. The weak link was the service. Our waiter, although obviously a veteran in his trade, was distracted, ‘hurried’, and forgetful. Eye contact was very difficult to establish.
As an example, we requested sweetener for the iced tea (which should be automatic), only to sit and watch the ice cubes melt before he returned and had to be reminded . . . a magical dining experience is always in the details.
Dinner for 6 for my birthday. Beautiful ambiance and stellar service the Chilean Sea Bass was amazing! All of my friends enjoyed their dinner selections as well. Complimentary butter cake for my birthday was a nice touch!
Nice restaurant but sercvice was slow on a Tuesday night, didnt like my seating area, there were alot of people having business meetings,so it was noisy, steaks were excellent and well seasoned, not really an intimate setting really
Great food and great service. Time and again, Del Frisco's exceeds the high expectations I place on it. Wonderful place. Will go again soon.
Although we started out with Clement who was awesome, (we requested to move due to a drafty area) we ended up with James who was AMAZING! The service was excellent! James was very accommodating, pleasant and very professional. He really catered to us and made me feel special on my birthday! We only had appetizers but everything was perfect and the Crispy fried lobster was scrumptious!!! James not only insisted, but made sure that my espresso martini was to my liking which was way more than I could ever ask for! We will definitely ask for either Clement or James when returning.
excellent service and we loved being outside.
our food was excellent
Family came to visit so I decided on Del Frisco’s, since you could never go wrong and it was great per usual!
Just another outstanding evening at Del Frisco’s. Originally had reservations at Maestro and they were so awful when I changed from 2 to 3 people I canceled. But, just like always, Del Frisco was on point with great service, excellent food, and an all out great experience. We arrived early—no problem. We ordered lots of things—always ready with anything we want. Happy, memorable, and the best steak in DC. DO NOT BOTHER EATING ELSEWHERE.
Ceiling leaking water on my husband at table, we moved to another table. Calamari was horrible and tough. Chilean sea bass was bland crab fried rice was salty, brown lettuce for wedge salad. Steaks and sides were good lobster Mac and cheese, cream spinach. We’ve dined here several times before COVID pandemic and food and service was excellent previously. Waiter was pleasant but service was not top notch like it use to be. Del Frisco’s use to be worth every penny but NOT ANYMORE
Tom is fantastic and the food great!!! I love the filet topped with lobster. Request Tom Stevens he is the best and treats you like family.
I’ve been coming here for the past two but
My friends and I dined at Del Friscos last night for my birthday. I’m very big in customer service, so I’m happy to say that Our server was super friendly and treated us like Gold. All of the food was absolutely delicious. The two drinks that my table chose was the “Old Fashioned” and the Margarita, which were both great. And of course the butter cake is a huge hit. The vibe/ambiance is amazing. I’ll certainly be back soon❤️
It’s Amazing will come back soon
Food was great, amazing ambiance, slow service
We always do restaurant week at Del Friscos. This year we missed and and my friend that lives in Charlotte came up for a late tradition dinner.
Our server James was awesome he pretty much made up for everyone else.
Everyone else in the restaurant seemed didn’t know what they were doing
When we walked in, nobody at the host stand and we waited for more than 5 minutes….
The service (except James) and food price don’t match
The service from the staff was great. Our waiter was especially attentive and helpful to us with recommendations and pairing ideas. The was consistent with what I have had at other Del Frisco locations.
Service was subpar for most of the evening. Cocktails didn’t come out prepared correctly.
Normally an evening at Del Frisco’s is a very memorable and enjoyable evening. Unfortunately, our evening there last night fell far short of our usual experience. It began with us being seated in a booth at the top of the stairs, which meant that we got to “experience” every guest that dined upstairs as they walked by our table on their way to their own. It was perplexing as to why we were seated there when there were numerous empty tables when we arrived. While our server was nice and pleasant, he unfortunately was very soft spoken, which made it very difficult to hear him through his mask. Moreover, we did not receive the same attentive treatment that has been the norm in our previous visits to Del Frisco’s. We were never offered assistance with a wine selection nor advised of any dinner specials. Three of us ordered steaks and they were all luke warm at best, and mine was way undercooked. I am hoping that what we experienced was a direct result of the restaurant and staff still working to build back after the hit they and other restaurants took as a result of COVID. If, however, this is the new norm for Del Frisco’s, we will need to look for another fine steakhouse to put at the top of our A list.
The butter cake dessert and the lobster Mac and cheese were the highlights by far. The Chilean Sea Bass was cooked perfectly. Everything was served at the perfect temperature. The bone-in prime ribeye was super.
Unfortunately, they were out of scallops and the Cabernet Sauvignon by the glass. The substitute was not very good.
Service was excellent.
Came her on a business lunch with a colleague. First time for both of us. Great service and food. We ordered the wagu and cheeseburgers. We loves our selections. Tuna tartare was incredible! Will come again.
Would not go again… horrible experience
When I arrived I waited about 5 minutes to be checked in for my reservation or at least greeted, when one one came I had to ask to different servers if they could get me some help. While waiting for the concierge to arrive an employee in passing rudely barked at me to pull my mask up even tho he could see I was just moved it below my lip to put gloss on my lip. Eventually the concierge came, at this point another party arrived and began waiting with me. I’m not sure how or why but he sat them before me. Once seated we continued to wait for a waiter to come over and greet us for a few minutes. When she arrived my friend jokingly said I though you’d forgotten about us she apologized and began taking our order. After being at the restaurant for about 10-15 minutes we finally got seated and got water. I wasn’t impressed or pleased by that experience at all. Overall the food was good but drink selection was very limited.
