This food is always good. Ambience is always good. I’m so glad valet is back :-)
It was great! Everyone was super courteous and professional. Great dinner.
La espectativa fue muy alta pero la comida defraudó y el servicio también está malo , en la reserva mencione que celebramos un cumpleaños y nadie nos festejó, es uno de esos lugares que nunca regresaré
Let me preface, I LOVED this restaurant and returned on a Saturday night with friends to relive a meal we all had together 4 years ago. Here is what happened, we started at the bar with a very poor selection of rum for a Rum Old Fashion, Malibu, Captain Morgan, Zacapa 23, Zaya and Don Q, an incredibly poor selection, changed to a Tequila Old Fashion, however, they chose a sweetener of maraschino and a cherry, well at least she tried.
On to dinner, we had 3ozs of two great wines by the glass a Schrader, this was a highlight. However, we were served dinner with no silverware. Watching the floor you could see they were slightly understaffed. Steaks were ok, ribeyes ordered bonein but received ribeyes, one on point for temperature the other high. Again steaks were delivered but with no steak knives. We skipped desert to finish our bottle of wine, excellent and served in a beautiful decanter. However as we sat to finish it and get ready to leave the dining room lights came on full strength and we were told it was closing time, when you have 3 tables in the dining room and a $550 bottle of wine, i find this level of service, consideration and execution sub par.
The overall experience was pleasant.
I went fit my birthday dinner, the food was amazing. The drinks were perfection!
Food and dessert was cold…sent back multiple times and the same results. This location continues to be subpar….
My husband and I were excited to try this restaurant for our anniversary but we were pretty disappointed. First - we started with the seafood tower- the menu said it included lump crab but that was not on it. Also the king crab tasted good- but was still frozen when we but into it. The lobster tail was so tiny it was one bite. When they cleared it we had nothing to clean our hands so i went to the bathroom to wash them and about 10 min later they showed up with the lemon napkins which I normally expect with a $100+ seafood tower.
The other disappointing factor was the steak. First, there are no options on the menu to “dress it up” like an Oscar style or anything. So when we ordered and the waitress offered truffle butter on it, I happily accepted thinking that must come with it. When we got the bill, we were charged $7 each for it and a bit annoyed with that. Second, the streak was cooked perfectly, however the bottom half was cold. Kind of like it was kept warm under a lamp for some time. We enjoyed our sides and the overall service but probably won’t return.
Wonderful date night. Haven’t been able to find great lamb chops for my husband and as always Del Friscos did not disappoint. The filet was perfectly cooked and Brussel sprouts are the best in town!
Stopped in for a late lunch, and spent 2.5 hours for a sandwich, salad.and iced tea. Food was good. Service was excruciatingly slow, though the restaurant wasn't crowded. The dress code is NOT enforced and many people wore sweats, yoga pants, or shorts. Other diners were very loud and frequently foul mouthed; odd in an upscale eatery, midday. It was a good meal but the pace of service and noise level were jarringly discordant with a quality restaurant. Not sure I'd go back, and definitely wouldn't bring clients.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I enjoyed every moment of my lunch at Del Frisco's. I would highly recommend it, and I will return in the future.
Great service, food and overall atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
Service was a bit slow, but very communicative.
We had an awesome time. The view by the window was incredible. The service was impeccable. I felt very comfortable and I will be back again. Thanks for everything. I’m sure the feeling was mutual with our whole party.
They totally ruined my husbands birthday- his actual day too. Drinks came 30 mins after ordering, appetizers after 1:10 mins (after appealing to a nearby manager). What is UP with this place???? Terrible - they forgot 3 items, and I can finally say I have met a ribeye I couldn’t eat, with a side of WHOLE RAW broccoli that was supposed to be some sort of kale and shaved broccoli salad. The waitress joked about it when I asked what it was. I’m not sure what happened last night but the manager didn’t bother to return and check on us even though I asked for him. Terrible way to treat someone on a special occasion.
The food was exceptional. Our waitress Cortney. Was the best. Very polite and attentive. This is a 10 star place. And it’s rite across the street from Louis Vuitton. 👍🏻
Our Waiter Titus was awesome. Very pleasant, professional and accommodating!! Thank you
Wagyu beef was very disappointing , quality over quantity didn’t not show here . Broiled oysters were great ,highlight of the night and wine by Freddy Gonzalez was great suggestion.
The food is very good. The steaks are exceptional. I was a big fan of the one in New York, and glad when they opened one in D.C. However, the service at the D.C. location is middling. It took exceptionally long to get a drink--I ordered one after i finished my appetizer, and didn't get it till we asked for the check. Generally took a long time to flag down a waiter for things--and it wasn't that busy.
I'd go here again, but make sure you're not in a rush.
So yummy ❤
We had a wonderful dinner with our family while visiting DC
19 year Anniversary
First time at this restaurant. Fabulous food and Amazing service! WE had a amazing time:)
The food and service was great. Nice place to wine and dine at. Great experience that will be had again.
We had a wonderful meal tonight. Del Friscos never disappoints; everything was perfect and well worth the 4 hour drive!
$50 for the Sea bass was totally worth it. Delicious…..
It was great!
They forgot my cousins birthday dessert that they informed me about over the phone. But the manager made it happen our waiter was great!
Everything was great except the credit card split…..charged it wrong
Horrible server. Forgot half to ring in half our dinner. 15 min wait for drinks. Was told we were getting free desert for the inconvenience, yet was charged for the dessert. 20 min to check out. Have been to many double eagles and it’s embarrassing how they run this one. Would not reccommend at all. Expect a lot more for a $700 experience.
Loved sitting outside! James was awesome!
Great food, great service, as always!
We chose this restaurant as our fancy last night in DC place. Our meal took three hours! The restaurant was supposedly closed yet they kept seating which meant the few servers available were now stretched to the limit. For what is being spent we expect exemplary service, which we did not get. We don’t fault our server, we fault the management.
Unlikely to return.
Great food, good service. Definitely visiting this location again.
I love it there nice clean & peace & quiet the good was the bomb
Very slow bar service and a very overcooked steak.
The ribeye steak was not flavorful, the calamari was the best I’ve ever had, and the egg rolls were delicious as well. Our waiter was fantastic .
The atmosphere is the best. Service, food and drinks were great. It was my birthday and they gave me a card and a free dessert. Made a girl feel special! Highly recommend this restaurant. We tried the sampler for dinner. Great value for a high end steakhouse.
