This place is terrible for dining. Maybe the happy hour is good because the noise from the bar took over the whole place. My fish was incredibly dry and took about 45 Mins to get. I’ll never go back.
Lazy staff. It’s like they knew the restaurant was shutting down...
Great evening at Del Frisco’s. Danielle took great care of us!
The host was welcoming and friendly . Our server was unfortunately not as friendly. We got our wines 15 mins after we got seated. And we had to remind another server about it. She was kind enough to expedite it for us. I ordered chicken wings. I wasn’t impressed. My fiancée ordered burger and fries. His burger was good. His fries were undercooked. Overall experience unfortunately was moderate for us.
Great service and food. The Simple Salmon was excellent!!!
Lunch after attending years of service event
Great business meeting location. Service was great to get the food, but after we received food, the check ins were lacking and the time it took to receive the check was long.
Long wait for food.
Had to remind server of our dessert.
Drinks not refilled in a timely manner.
Streak was great however sides lacking.
Service was slow and I never received a drink I ordered
DFG is extremely convenient to my office and I dine there frequently. The staff from the front desk to the servers and runners are all welcoming, friendly and professional. When I get to choose where to meet it is usually at DFG.
Sales came out with entry. All wine was poured when some guests didn’t ask or drink wine.
Too bad joint has closed.
We stopped in for a late lunch after spending some time walking around DC and enjoyed ourselves. It was nothing spectacular but a solid performer and we enjoyed ourselves.
They were not too long from closing, which they let be known but they still took good care of us!! Even still I will say our service felt very rushed at times, why offer late reservations if you’re going to do that?
Our food was great, the birthday boy had the Ribeye, cooked perfectly! I had the Brick Chicken, which was also very tasty. Our drinks were also very good.
Our waiter was so attentive and was able to expedite my dinner to take home with me as I had a last minute emergency to attend to. Food was delicious and love eating there!!
I may have been at Del Frisco's Grille on a bad service night, but wow, it was not great. My colleagues ordered the prix fixe menu like I did, but I'm the only one who ordered the $20 wine pairing. A wine pairing is not a foreign concept, but I think it was for my server. He only brought me one glass of wine for the three course menu. When I asked for the next pairing, he said that this was the one I chose for the pork chop. I said, I didn't order a $20 glass of wine. I explained that I was supposed to get one for each course, and it was as if I was speaking a foreign language. He conferred with the manager, who came over and apologized and said it would be taken off the bill. She asked if I wanted the other two pairings, and I said I didn't want a glass of sparkling wine (which was the selection for the starter), but that I would take the port for the dessert course. Big surprise, that also never came. My colleague had ordered sweet potato fries for the table, but that never came. Luckily, it wasn't added to the bill so I just didn't argue about that one. The food was good, but it took forty minutes between the first course and the second. I don't know if it was an off night, but given the number of great restaurants in DC, I'll take my chances somewhere else.
Location is daytime corporate so wouldn’t be my first choice for dinner in DC
The dining experience is always pretty good with the exception of the nats that hang out in one particular part of the restaurant. But the staff is pretty good and the Manager is excellent!
Food was great. Air was broken so a little to warm inside
I must say, I love Del Frisco’s chain. But this one was horrible. The steak was overdone the first time, underdone the next, then overdone. I’m not a picky person — but these guys just couldn’t get it right — likely because the steak was too thin and small. My friend’s filet was fine. The broccoli was in this horrible sauce and ruined nice broccoli, the asparagus were fine, and my prawns were great (probably because you couldn’t do anything wrong to them). The bread was boring (why not the good stuff at the other Del Frisco?). The place was almost empty (as opposed to the other Del Frisco which was packed the same night) — which should have signaled that this place ain’t good. I should have listened to my instincts when I saw it was almost empty on a weekend.
The food was AMAZING, especially the truffle Mac and cheese. I contemplated getting another side of it. The steak was cooked to perfection and the cocktails were very tasty. Our waiter was knowledgeable and polite, along with the gentleman he was training. I’d definitely come back here when I visit DC again.
Decent food but appetizers, main course and sides all arrived within 5 minutes of each other.
My friend and I had a wonderful lunch - we always have to have those eggrolls! My salad was outstanding - BBQ shrimp that were enormous and a lot of usual Cobb salad suspects, like corn and bacon - really deliciious! Our server was very pleasant and we really enjoyed her personality and inviting demeanor. Always like to return to del Frisco's grille for lunches!
Horrible service. Very cramped. Wait staff had to be reminded several times of what to bring out. Rushed, not very attentive.
Unfortunately, we didn’t get to have lunch, due to parking. One would think the owner of this establishment would secure parking for their guest. We drove around for 35 minutes, only to just say “forget it” and ate somewhere else.
I had their tuna salad, I wish they had shop sticks. The service and food was superb as always. Sat at the bar, Fatima, is an amazing waitress / bartender.
We were in town on business and pleasure and had an early dinner with our two boys. We enjoyed sharing multiple appetizers and the boys ate very well also. Although not on the menu they did offer a few kids meals verbally table side. We'd go again for sure!
Had a late lunch with 5 adults and 2 kids. Kids had Mac n cheese and it was a little bland, but they liked it with a little salt.
Adults had the wings and guacamole for apps, both were good. I like the avocado sauce served with the wings. Wish the guacamole was a little less chunky. It was a little too chunky for the smaller chips. I actually liked dipping the chips in the wing avocado sauce too.
Entrees I had the impossible burger with Parmesan fries. It was good.
2 other people had burgers and steak sand which, both liked them.
Mother in law had the gluten free pepperoni pizza/flat bread.
Staff was friendly. Great location.
Next time we will come back for dinner, just adults.
The 'house smoked' ribs were not good. They had never seen a grill, were devoid of any the advertised smokiness and to make matters worse they were absolutely smothered in bbq sauce which had to be scraped off in order to consume. AND the fries were cold.
I love this restaurant and always have business lunches here. Friday was off. I waited twenty minutes for my lunch appointment, only to find out they sat her at another table. The reservation was under my name for us both. I arrived first and when she arrived, they said I had not yet checked in. We almost canceled with one another only to finally connect via our exec assistants to learn that we were both seated. We located one another and started over. Service was slow and my order was wrong. It was Caesar with chicken and it was supposed to be shrimp. It appeared that there were many problems that day; the managers were walking around apologizing to so many tables. They were very gracious with us as well. Not sure what was up but an anomaly based on previous dining there and really a disaster. Hope it gets fixed.
I had a tremendous dinner and the service was outstanding. Next trip to DC I will definitely go back.
We went to Del Frisco's to celebrate a colleague's birthday. The food was wonderful (try the cheesesteak eggrolls as an appetizer). Our server was good and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience.
Amazing food but the performance was beyond lackluster. Took 30 minutes to just get a drink menu. I never received any water after asking multiple times. Appetizers took almost an hour to come out. Ordered the zucchini Parmesan side and it came out raw, unheated.
Service has gone downhill dramatically. Nice people but not trained properly.
I less extremely disappointed in my experience here. They were out of their signature VIP cocktail, their butter cake, the white sangria, lemon cake, the 8 ounce filet. My 6 ounce filet was half meat half large glob of fat.
I’m a huge Del Frisco’s fan and have never had a bad meal in New York, Boston or Denver. This location was very disappointing
Air conditioning was not working. Very warm.
Very poor service and food was bad. The steak was over seasoned and everything was way overpriced for the quality of food, environment and service.
Great food and service.
Slow and bad service.
