Unfortunately the service in Del Punto is terrible. We have been going for a while but this time it was not good. We were rushed by the server and they didn’t ask us properly what we wanted. They were not attentive and didn’t ask if we wanted anything else. The waitress was on her phone most of the night. The food was average and the cost was high compared to the value we received. We will be giving this a miss for a while.

It was a busy night so we could only get a seat at the bar and it was a little cramped but not too bad. We got to see the bar staff mixing cocktails. Staff were prompt at taking our order and the food was well spaced. We had empanadillas and croquettes and a chick pea and spinach stew. The empanada LLSS were tasty with a strong beef flavour and the accompanying sauce was really nice. Croquettes were tasty but the surprising standout was the soup which was thick and tasty. These were all a tapas size. We also ordered a small paella which I believe was made to order, not pre cooked as we were told it would take 45 minutes. So this worked well with the other dishes coming out first. The paella has 3 mussels, large prawns and chicken skewers sticking out, so it looked great. Prawns and chicken were especially tasty. The paella itself was okay but in my opinion not great. Even with the chorizo it lacked a bit of the smoky flavour that I expected. I would have added more smoked paprika or saffron but I know there are region differences. It was still quite tasty. With a few glasses of wine the total bill was about $120 and we were too full for dessert so a tasty dinner for a reasonable price.

Amazing night with dishes that excited my tastebuds. All your staff are delightfully beautiful. The lovely AYU made our night complete with her comforting and relaxing conversations. Thanks again ☺️

Food was OK, having been to numerous Tapas bars in Spain,a bit disappointing with the type of tapas on offer, not really that authentic in my view
