Entrees took way to long to be served. Waiter was confused on what was ordered for one entree vs what was served. Staff overall was lovely.
From the moment we walked in the door, this was an outstand experience.
A beautiful setting with a small garden area and patio with a retractable roof and string lighting. 2 private dining rooms. Well designed and inviting atmosphere. Friendly staff and good food!
I ordered the sole and they didn’t mention the price. It was $60!!!!
Our first visit to Dolce will not be our last! Tremendous service and attention to every detail. Amazing home made pasta, beautiful charcuterie board and great dessert!
The sommelier made a tremendous recommendation and the restaurant owner came by to say hello—he then sent us a gift of beautiful grilled octopus to say “welcome!”
Such a special evening! Thanks Dolce team!
Father’s Day celebration for my husband...we loved everything about the day from the time we walked in until we walked out!!! Will definitely be back! The lobster croissant was fabulous and can’t wait to gave it again!!!
The Father's Day Brunch was not good. Most of my family ordered the Chicken and Waffles. The chicken on top of the 1/2 waffle was a bad version of frozen chicken you would give your 3 year old. Servings were tiny... 8 fries were put on each plate. Really???? Our waiter starting by saying he never works brunch and just look at the menu. Overpriced and not great quality
The food here is very good. It was the second time to visit. This time appeared to be a little disorganized. There were sever loud drops of silverware and glassware. Noisy! The lemon salad tasted of oil and no lemon. Our server was not as good as the first visit. The atmosphere is really over the top wonderful and the pasta was delish.
What an amazing experience! Thank you so much to the outstanding staff to make this birthday celebration a success! Xoxo
Do not order the cheese wheel pasta. Might look cool but it’s not good. Doesn’t help that it also costs $36!!!!! 🤯🤯
We’ve been to Dolce Riviera many times and the service is always excellent. This time we had “J” as our server. She did not miss a beat. Excellent experience!
As always, awesome food, great service!
What a fantastic dining experience! Great ambiance, excellent service, and a delicious meal. I ordered the gnocchi and my mom had the linguine all’s pescatore. Both were delicious and the portions were appropriately sized, leaving room for dessert! Already recommended it to a friend. Would like to go back for happy hour and enjoy the beautiful patio next time.
They would not take a special order-we had someone allergic to onions and they removed the onions and charged us for vegetables added to the dish. They also insisted we order everything at once-stated chef insists on this and no substitutions. We have this restaurant a second chance after a previous lousy meal. The manager gave us his card instead of removing the offensive extra charge for a substitution. We won’t go back. Terribly disappointing!
Great food and service
Great dining experience. Food was exceptional and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. Highly recommended
Great brunch and atmosphere! Definitely dine on patio.
We have been to Dolce Riviera several times and we have always been very happy with the food and the service. Unfortunately, we had a miserable experience on our last visit. While the food was once again very good, it was overwhelmed by the appalling service we received. It was as if our table was invisible. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our food and despite repeated requests to the wait staff for an update as to when we would receive our food, we were told nothing. When we finally received our food, we were told that it was because their computer was down and they had to put our order in manually and that is why it took so long. We do not put any credence in this excuse as everyone around us got their food on a timely basis. The silver lining in the evening was that the manager learned about our situation and handled our bill in a fair and reasonable manner. As a result of the manager's actions and our based favorable experiences at Dolce Riviera, we will give the restaurant another try. However, if our visit last Saturday night had been our first visit to the restaurant, we would never return to Dolce Riviera based upon the terrible experience we had.
Very very good, excellent experience from start to finish. Highly recommend! Make sure the woman you’re with is as special as the experience.
The food was great and the atmosphere at the restaurant was very nice/trendy. Lot of variety of choices on the menu which was good.
Everything was excellent - the red snapper and branzino are delicious and the service was mostly spot on. Weirdly though, two of us ordered the snapper special but cooked differently. They brought out only one plate of sides for the two orders and then sloppily divided them into two messy plates, even going so far as to cut one of the three asparagus spears in half so we could each have 1 1/2. 😳My plate looked as if someone had been eating from it. This is out of character for Dolce Riviera, but worth bringing to their attention.
I struggle giving this place a bad review... but our server for the night left me no choice!! I can not believe that people can sit for over three hours and constantly have to flag down a server for any form of attention. It was happy hour, she offered no happy hour suggestions. We were regularly reordering orders that we’d have to flag and wave her down every. single. time
The ambiance is amazing, literally feel like I’m hanging out in st tropez. We didn’t order any food, probably bc our server never offered! Look forward to trying again and perhaps having a different server!
I’ve had Dolce Riviera on my list for quite some time and I’m disappointed I haven’t been sooner. Cool beachy vibe. I felt like I was in Cali. Upbeat music. We went for brunch, everyone loved their meal and cocktails. Seems like it would be a good place for a late happy hour.
Valet parking is a disaster. DJ is not needed for a quiet enjoyable brunch on Sunday.
Slow service and not good at keeping reservations. We waited 30 min to be seated even with reservation. Food and ambience is great
Food and atmosphere was good but the waiter was not attentive. Never checked on drinks (they were not good) or food. WAY too hot in the restaurant.
You can’t beat the atmosphere and authentic food! Perfect for date night or any night !
It was amazing! We enjoyed every bit that we had from food to drinks. Thank you!
Wonderful food and atmosphere!!!!
Andrew was a great waiter. The som knew the challenging wine list. Great atmosphere both in and out
Genuine, well presented Italian with superior service and atmosphere.
In a state with so many steakhouses we wanted something different. Dolce Riviera is Italian with an open air feeling. We had the rack of lamb and it was terrific. We're glad we went there.
Love this place! Sitting in the outdoor section during nice weather is a must! Service is great and I love the complimentary bread, cheese, and olives! The lasagne is incredible!
This restaurant has so much potential to be great but it misses the mark on food. Granted it was mother's day brunch so we didn't get the full menu. I've been there for dinner and it was good. I will revisit to test again. I do not recommend sitting in a banquette. The cushions will suck you in and I had to sit on a pillow (aka booster seat) to feel comfortable...fyi I'm 5'10" I also feel we had one of the worst tables in the restaurant; right by the walkway and staff needed to get by. I made my reservation weeks in advance and I would have expected a better table (on the patio). The service was ok, our waitress was very nice but she seemed to be off a little...kept pouring water even though I paid for sparkling but she definitely made up for it and brought us new drinks both times. My food came out nearly 5 minutes after my two guests. And I had to wait for parmesan and pepper for my Bolognese. My two guests had eggs benedict (one lobster and one prosciutto). I tried both and can't say I was blown away by either. My bolognese was good though. Pasta was cooked perfectly but the meat sauce wasn't my fave. But, I will give them another shot because I love the ambiance.
The LA CONCA D'ORO salad was delicious. Interesting pistachio dressing on the side. We had the branzino fish wrapped in parchment paper - so light and lemony. We also had the LINGUINE MARE & MONTI - fantastic sauce with crabmeat and a variety of mushrooms. Husband had the RISOTTO ALL MILANESE CON OSSOBUCO and raved about it. Lovely sitting on the patio. Not too noisy.
Great, as always. I love veggie frittata, and the spaghetti pomodoro is delicious, my grandchildren love it.
This was the second time I have been to Dolce Riviera. The first time was outstanding and the second did not disappoint. We arrived a bit later in the evening and told our waiter that we would like to enjoy the dinner and not rush through things. He paced the dinner wonderfully. Suggested a slightly lower cost bottle of Super Tuscan (which was terrific). The food was plated wonderfully and very tasty. While we did not have room for dessert (because the portions are sizable), the manager and our waiter sent over two complimentary glasses of champagne to top off the night. Overall, an outstanding evening and we will surely return.
We had salads and pasta dishes. Both were good and so was the wine by the glass.
Our waitress Alysa was fabulous.
