The only issue is parking! Very little parking is available so maybe use a ride share service. Food was good but not outstanding.

Great service, food was good but lukewarm (pea soup and polpette). Very loud. Reserved inside seating and turns out it was a shared table with metal benches for chairs. Chose to sit outside instead. Overall good, but not great.

Chef Gary’s menu is outstanding! We love the Brussels sprouts appetizer, Cesar salad and the bone in pork chop! The service is outstanding and the music on Thursday nights adds a great ambience!

We love Domenico’s. I wanted to do a brunch with our family for Easter that my picky son would enjoy. I was happy there wasn’t a set menu that would make it difficult to feed him. The Easter specials were there (I had the crab Benedict which was nice) so if you wanted something special you could get it. We had a bruschetta Easter special that was supposed to have a spring pea purée but alas, the burrata and tomato jam was there with balsamic but no sprightly green sweetness shared the stage. The crab Benedict was soft, meltingly lovely but had an odd scent. Not like questionable seafood but .. odd. My husband had his much loved fennel sausage pasta. Alas, the pasta was cooked short of al dente being a tad too chewy bordering on undercooked. There was a distinct lack of fennel in the sausage flavor also. Our son loved his cheeseburger and fries. The affogato was as usual superb. Not sure if they were having an off afternoon or what but we were a bit disappointed.

We enjoyed our afternoon at Domenico Winery for a nice lunch. The staff and service were friendly and efficient. The establishment was clean and parking was plentiful. The menu has just the right amount of items to choose from without being overbearing. We very much liked the Chef's Tasting Board, so much to choose from. And jut the right amount to snack on before a meal. We also split the Verde Inferno, delicious! Your pie comes out nice and hot. Nice thin crust with just enough crunch, not to much. All of the flavors blended well. We then took home an order of the Fennel Sausage Rigatoni. Yum... Neighborhood gem, for sure.

FAQs

Yes, Domenico Winery & Osteria is a solid date-night choice. Guests frequently praise the intimate winery vibe, thoughtful wine flights and attentive service that make it feel special for anniversaries and romantic dinners. Options include bar seating for wine tastings, cozy indoor tables, an upstairs private room and a heated patio for milder evenings. Note: it can be lively during events or holidays, so for a quieter evening pick a midweek or early dinner and mention seating preferences when you reserve.

Portions are generally generous and shareable, the menu mixes small plates (cicchetti) for sharing with hearty mains. Guests often split pizzas and enjoy the Chef’s Tasting Board or charcuterie to start, then order a substantial main like the ½ lb. wagyu burger or 16 oz ribeye. Pizzas and pastas tend to be satisfying; many parties split starters and still have room for an entree and dessert.

Current posted hours are: Wed–Fri 5:00 pm–9:00 pm; Sat 11:00 am–9:00 pm; Sun 11:00 am–6:00 pm. Guests also report special holiday and event brunches (e.g., Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter) outside standard hours, so it’s best to check the website or call for event-day schedules and reservations.

Families are welcome and the restaurant is family-friendly, guests routinely dine with children and celebrate birthdays. Seating includes the bar, indoor tables, a heated patio and an upstairs room for groups. Specific details about ADA-accessible seating or ramps aren’t stated in reviews or the menu, so call ahead if you have mobility or accessibility needs and the team will help with seating arrangements.

For a quieter dinner, choose a weekday evening (Wed–Fri) or an early seating; guests say midweek dinners are less crowded. If you want a lively brunch, Saturday and Sunday mornings are popular. Avoid major holidays and Mother’s Day unless you’re prepared for busy service, those event days draw large crowds and can be rushed.

Warm, casual-upscale winery ambiance, think modern Napa meets neighborhood Osteria. Guests enjoy a friendly, family-run vibe, attentive service and a lively wine-focused atmosphere. It can be energetic during events or weekend brunches and the outdoor patio borders a parking area (so outdoor vibes vary). Bring a light jacket for windy nights on the patio and expect an upbeat, social setting.

Casual dress, guests commonly dine in relaxed, smart-casual attire. The atmosphere is comfortable and family-friendly, so you can come dressed casually for brunch, pizza and wine tastings or slightly dressier for special events.

Yes, guests frequently ask staff to accommodate seating preferences, dietary restrictions, birthday or anniversary touches, or private-event needs. The team is noted for personalized service; call ahead for large parties, accessibility needs or menu accommodations and the restaurant will typically work with you to make arrangements.

Yes, many guests bring children and celebrate family occasions here. The menu has kid-pleasing items like burgers, pizza and approachable pastas, and staff are used to family parties. For younger children, an early seating or a private room can make the visit more comfortable; call ahead if you need a high chair or special requests.

The restaurant takes reservations and can be busy during weekends and holidays; several guests reported long waits or rushed service on high-demand days. While reviews don’t explicitly confirm a formal waitlist policy, expect possible delays during special events, call ahead or confirm your reservation to reduce the chance of being bumped or waiting.

Busiest: weekend brunches, Saturday nights and holidays (Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, special tasting events), guests frequently note crowds and event-driven service pressure. Quietest: weekday evenings (Wed–Fri) and early seatings are typically calmer. If you prefer a relaxed meal, aim for a midweek dinner or an early weekend dinner outside peak brunch hours.

For a relaxed meal, midweek (Wednesday–Friday) evenings are a great choice, fewer crowds and attentive service. If you want lively brunch and wine-tasting energy, Saturday or Sunday brunch is ideal. Avoid major holiday brunches if you prefer a low-key experience; those days tend to be busiest and can run behind.

Yes, Domenico hosts private parties and events. Guests describe an upstairs/second-floor room and an event-focused space for wine-paired dinners, special tasting events and private celebrations. The venue positions itself as a premier private events location on the Peninsula, call the restaurant to discuss group menus, room availability and event pricing.

They often host special holiday brunches and events (Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter specials), so the Osteria can be open for holidays and curated celebrations. Because hours and offerings change for holidays, call or check the website for holiday-specific hours and special menus before you go.

Yes, several guests say they bring their dog and enjoy the outdoor seating. The patio is dog-friendly when weather permits, and the staff is used to accommodating diners with pets outdoors. Call ahead to confirm patio availability and any restrictions.
