Great cocktails and brunch. Small menu but very tasty. Molly our server was excellent.
Food and service are always outstanding! LOVE that they have pizza on the menu now!
My wife and I went on a date to Donetto recently and greatly enjoyed our time there! From the moment we were greeted by the hostess to signing the check, we had an excellent experience. Highly recommend the bacon spaghetti!
The food is outstanding and the service is on another level. We came in 10min before they closed and they still sat us and treated us like we were the most important table in the restaurant. I was impressed with the staff and the food.
This is my 4th time at Donetto.
Always good food and service, however, we did have to send back a pizza that was way over salted, and a botched cocktail order. They were taken off the bill.
All in all a very cozy go to restaurant on the west side.
Incredible. All around great experience. Agnolotti was hands down one of the best pasta dishes we have ever had. Drinks were top notch. Easily some of the best customer service start to finish I’ve ever experienced as well. I think that made our night. Definitely recommend!
Our waiter was fabulous and help us choose a great meal
Menu is varied and creative. Seasonal. Fresh ingredients in unusual yet tasty combinations. We sampled several starters and then tasted each other’s entrees. All delicious. Service is a delight- nice balance of professional and friendly. We’ll be back soon.
Return visit after a years hiatus, received outstanding service by knowledgeable waiter, general manager, and bartender all helped make an enjoyable experience. Bring back the white bolognese.
Fun Westside spot that’s a nice change from the usual suspects. Molly took great care of us and our food (salads, pizzas, pasta) was very good. Will be back for sure.
Excellent cocktails and food. Had the pizza and the mushroom pasta and both were delicious!
This is our fourth visit to Donetto, and this place is so enjoyable every time we dine here!! We have come with family for brunch for Mother's Day and dinner get-togethers with family and friends. My husband and I always get the steak for two, and it is always perfect! The crudo appetizer is mouthwateringly delicious. The pizzas and the pastas are fabulous. Their specialty cocktails are wonderful. And you have to save room for dessert!! Those donuts are A-MAZING!! Our server was terrific. The manager always comes by and politely makes sure we are enjoying our dining experience. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta! We will be back no doubt!
Amazing food with no waiting for a table. We went with a reservation on a Friday night, but honestly didn't need one.
Great food and absolutely wonderful service! So glad I tried this place upon the recommendation of a friend.
It was my birthday and they were amazing from everything to wishing me a happy birthday as I walked in the door to explaining the menu and bring a desert with a candle. Our service was well informed about the menu and it was excellent service!
It was great. They prepared a dish on request from their old menu. Good wine recommendations.
Always extremely happy after dining here. They never seem to disappoint!
Not great food for price point. Would not go back.
The staff at Donetto really goes above and beyond to ensure their guests have a great experience. My wife and I have food allergies and the staff always produces exceptional service. On of our favorite restaurants in the ATL.
Changed menu for the better. Great wood fired oven pizza. Octopus very nice. This is a very good restaurant.
surprise Bday dinner, somewhat last minute. Service was prefect. The family style meal for a group of 8 was a fantastic value and the food was amazing. Parking was a bit of a nightmare but otherwise, Highly recommend.
Dinner with my mom who was in town visiting
Great dining experience for our first time at Donetto. We were with a party of six that started out with their delicious signature cocktails and appetizers (highly recommend the fried cheese balls). For the main course we enjoyed the scallop dish and the crab gnocchi dish - both delicious. The highlight was probably the dessert - especially the fried doughnuts and the chocolate mousse!
Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again.
Food and service were both outstanding. We've been a few times now and the quality is consistently good. Highly recommend.
We tried both pasta and pizza while there and it was incredible, very good service as well! Can’t wait to return!
Great food and service. Restaurant was super cold.. we had to move outside. Great waiter very attentive
Very slow service- probably kitchen , not waitress.
The steak Florentine was definitely smaller than stated in the menu.
(Not big enough for 2 people). The manager acknowledged this and comped another steak to our table. Great customer service and all of our food was delicious! I had the scallops, my husband had the gnocchi .
We would come back!
Great wait staff. Food was excellent. I had the pork chop--very tender and tasty. This is our favorite place of our anniversary celebration. And the stuffed calamari w/chicken sausage appetizer --wow.
Regards, George Walker
Good experience for the most part. We enjoyed the ambiance. The food was just ok. Especially for the price. I would have expected a little more
The greeter as well as the waiter were great as for the food the spaghetti was great. caesar salad was disappointing .
We went to Donetto for my husband's birthday and had an AMAZING experience. The food was excellent, and the service was incredible! Emari took such amazing care of us!!! Thank you so much! We will definitely continue to trust this location with our special moments!
Always great food and service! It’s my”go to” place in the area when I’m taking friends and Co-workers out.
I was really looking forward to this meal. We ordered the Bolognese bucatini and specialty quail ripiena. We were pretty disappointed with the bolognese. It was much more tomato-based and less meaty/hearty than I ever thought it would be. The ripiena itself was well prepared but the whole dish, including the mushroom & quail jus sauce, was far too salty. Good service and ambiance, however it will be hard to justify paying for just good service and ambiance. I hope the restaurant stays open but I don’t think we will be back
Dominant flavor profile was "salty". Appetizers (most dishes, actually) were small. Octopus was overcooked and overpriced. Squid was well cooked but oddly presented. My dining companions liked the chicken. Service was friendly but not well organized.
Came to Donetto for Mother’s Day dinner - food was good but the delivery timing was awful. We waited a good 35-40 minutes after our appetizers until the mains arrived. However, Donetto is usually pretty decent on their service - hopefully it was just a one time incident!
Food what excellent and the service was outstanding. The waiter made excellent recommendations on appetizers and main courses.
Great experience overall. First time eating at this restaurant. I definitely will return! Delicious food & very knowledgeable staff!
Giving Donetto three stars instead of two because my first two visits for dinner were great. We recently went for Mother's Day brunch, and it's very clear that brunch is not their thing. When we were seated, everyone ordered coffee (it was French pressed and actually good thank god) and I ordered green tea. They ran out of green tea, and their order would be coming Tuesday. Ok, fine that happens, but on Mother's Day? They should've been fully stocked for brunch. One of us also ordered a virgin Bloody Mary because it was too early to drink alcohol. The drink didn't taste the slightest like a Bloody Mary, but rather a citrus juice with a splash of tomato water, yuck. When our server came to take our order, he explained that the kitchen doesn't make modifications to entrees. I understand this when the restaurant is crazy busy and the kitchen is pushing, but when someone asks for their steak and eggs to come with scramble instead of poached eggs when scrambled eggs are on the menu, you'd think that's fine right? Well, no. Not here. We could see into the kitchen, and they didn't seem that slammed so why didn't our server just ask chef? Instead, he went straight to the computer and sent our orders in. Oh well, the fellow diner went with something else (half the cost of the steak and eggs, mind you. Donetto's loss here).
There are some restaurants that put the customer first, and here, it seems like there is a culture of no coming from the kitchen. No, there's no jam in house for the bread served with brunch dishes. Not sure, I'll have to check on if there's butter. No, you can't have scrambled eggs when we're scrambling eggs in another pan on the same stove.
When 5/6 of the correct plates were placed at our table, we weren't shocked. The server brought an extra Cacio e Pepe scramble instead of an Egg in a Basket and said it was a special something from him (aka he or the kitchen messed up and tried to subdue the situation with this...didn't work). Despite the experien
