   I wish I could say I loved Enoteca Harlem. I really wanted to. The interior is very pretty and they’ve done a great job with a long narrow space. All the staff are lovely people and our server was pleasant and tried her best to do a good job, but the service and food could’ve been much better. We waited a long time for our first plate, the charcuterie, which was really good. My husband had asked for a pause between each course but the pauses turned into 15-20 minutes. Maybe this was because there was a large party of 10 or 12 who arrived before us, but they should’ve been able to handle it. Enoteca has an extensive wine list with reasonably priced wines from Spain and Chile. and we had an excellent bottle of Syrah from Spain. We also ordered the octopus, the squid, and skirt steak. We thought the skirt steak would come out last but it came first, and was oddly lukewarm and overcooked. The octopus, served on a bed of mashed potatoes, would’ve been good if the potatoes hadn’t been cold and at $28, is overpriced. The squid, I’m happy to say, was delicious. I’d like to go back to Enoteca in the future and hope to have a better experience there.

   Delicious tapas - the shiitake croquetas with chive aioli are outstanding! The Bacalalo pintxos also delicious. And superb selection of Chilean wines (in addition to other regions) - go with those, the one of the owners is Chilean and a wine lover! The cheesecake was delicious also - delicate flavor, with slightly different feel due to the Idizabal cheese. Lovely atmosphere inside - very mellow and European, beautiful interior and fun open outdoor area. Wonderful Harlem gem!

   Enoteca was amazing. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and hospitable. The food is delicious. And the location offers a welcome escape from the sights and sounds of the city. I highly recommend a trip to Harlem to enjoy this wonderful restaurant.

    Chic new place with flavorful and exciting menu, extensive and well-curated wine list. Owner and wait staff were so friendly and welcoming and made our anniversary most memorable. Very best wishes on this new venture! <3

    Marco and the staff were fantastic hosts! The food was wonderful! The wine was superb! I can't wait to visit again. Cute for a date night, Girls Night, Night Cap... very chic... ver delicious.

    The tapas menu was good. The best by far was the service. Amalio, our server was kind, and proactive to make decisions. Nice list of wine, and it’s a great place to come with friends to drink a glass and have some food. The best was the Crab, creamy, scrumptious, and full of flavor. The croquetas were good, maybe too salty. The scallop pintxo was amazing and tasty. I would just recommend them to please, please, please, change the bread you give for the pintxos and in general. It does not hold the creaminess of the pintxo and in general is not a quality bread for the kind of great food you are serving. Moreover, cut it in diagonal, so is easier to eat and it looks more sophisticated. I’ll go for a French baguette or Italian bread or even sourdough bread. The rest was great and I’ll be back.
