Estia Taverna – Radnor
Service was excellent - knowledgeable staff, good atmosphere, and solid menu. Honestly not much more to ask.
Very good lamb gyro! The 3 dip appetizer tasted great but could use more pita bread for the dips
Server was helpful in make recommendations as to wine and food. The restaurant was very loud (although noise level dropped later in the evening). Food was very good (including fish of the day, octopus appetizer).
Neil the sommelier and Josh the server were outstanding
Great food and service. Nice atmosphere too.
First time to Estia..... food and service were outstanding. We liked the open bar concept. Will definitely be back!
This was a very good meal that we enjoyed greatly.
We stopped in for a quick lunch and were so glad we did. Our server, Paige was so accommodating and sweet. I had the grilled octopus appetizer and it was phenomenal, just sooooo good!!! Best ever.... entire meal was fabulous!
Amazing fresh food in A beautiful environment
I dine at Radnor and bring friends. The last couple of times I requested a booth in the dining room. Both times they refined to seat me and my companion in one. We had a 7pm reservation and was told not on Sat. night. I have been in this restaurant on Sat nights and saw 2 people in the booths. Every time I come they say they’re reserved. I always reserve on my Open Table reservation page.
There were open tables for 4 people in the dining room and the Gen. Mgr. finally seated us at a 4 top. I have a people hearing someone from across a large table for 2.
If this is your inflexible policy, which is unfriendly customer service. The woman manager was very adamant about this issue.
This was Sat. Jan. 5th.
We had a very memorable dinner with are son for his Birthday. The food was creatively prepared and delicious
Their Express lunch offer is really great !
Our second NY Eve @ Estia Randor ... was very nice.
Great New Year’s dinner!
The service was excellent and the food delicious! The Calamari and lamb chops were the highlights! The oysters were only ok.
Our waiter Éric was fantastic! He was a pleasure and we had great conversations.
We split the Sea Bass, but noticed they left a lot of bones. I think it was because they were busy and it was NYE. They usually do a better job of deboning the fish. We split the spanakopita and Estia chips which are always delicious. You also can’t go wrong with the salted carmel baklava.
All were very satisfied with our food selections. Not being very hungry 3 of us ordered appetizers for
entrees plus your wonderful greek salad for the table. It was a great start for New Years eve before going to a private dessert soiree.Estia's is always high on our list for special occasions and will continue to stay there.
Our regular waiter was excellent in all ways but the 3 of the servers who were asked to bring 2nds of bread and hummus went off to do so but never returned. Our waiter remedied that tho it came well after or entrees were served.
Our dinner was at an early in the evening and noise level was moderate much to our liking.
Always enjoy dining at Estia. Did ask for specific table when making reservation on open Table, but when we arrived were told we couldn’t have it ( for a 4:45 reservation). We noticed other parties arriving after us being seated in that area when they objected to where they were being seated. Not good practice to employ with loyal customers!
Good food and ambiance. Service excellent.
We used to love Estia and frequently took guests or business associates. The service last Friday evening was either disinterested when you wanted something or overbearing when it came to removing dishes that you might still be "enjoying." The biggest disappointment was the Lavraki - always for me a reason to go to Estia. It was overcooked and dry... unfortunate for a fish that is now overpriced for what it is.
Over priced. The Greek Salad was an expensive disappointment. Nothing imaginative or creative.
The cocktails were very good. The Lamb Shank was okay as was the Orzo that came as a side. But again nothing memorable.
Been here many times. Always quality service and food. Although pricey, it is a wonderful place. We made it out for Christmas Eve lunch. Server was wonderful. Got a great bottle of Greek White wine.
Excellent service, food, and ambiance.
If you go, definitely splurge and get some prawns or langoustines for your appetizer, and fish for your entree. Estia is known for their excellent seafood and you won’t be disappointed!
Also, the wine list is exceptional—definitely worth getting a bottle of wine with your dinner.
Always a great experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Stay away. Had to argue and fight with hostess after confirmed all of arrangements for a special birthday dinner for my husband. Waitress terrible. Never received my husbands appetizer. Poor attitude. Will never go back. Save your money! Too many other restaurants in the area that welcome you with a smile and do not spoil your dinner or upset you.!
Estia has become one of my favorite go-to restaurants in the area! The food is always so fresh and prepared perfectly and the service is consistently superb! I plan to return soon!
Food was underseasoned and our waiter had something better to do than serving us.
Estia never disappoints. Lamb chops were fantastic and the papoutsakia dish was cooked to perfection. The octopus & calamari appetizers were amazing as usual. Enjoyed the live music as well.
This was our second time dining at Estia. We were very satisfied on both occasions. The fish selections are numerous and also delicious. Great cocktails and service as well. Definitely worth trying.
The service was excellent. Appetizers (Pikilia spreads and Estia chips) were excellent. For dinner I had the lamb chops which were cooked perfectly, my husband loved the Pasta Ala Grecca and our 2 guests had Lavraki which was very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great meal fun night
love the place. Would definitely recommend Estia to others
Average Greek food / fish didn’t taste fresh
The $19 express lunch is a good value with some delicious appetizers and entrees from which to choose. However all else is outrageously expensive and not worth the cost
We were greeted and wished happy anniversary (this was noted in reservation).
Food and service were great
We were offered complimentary cookies with a candle to celebrate
Our dinner was excellent! The service was fantastic! Our server was fast and friendly.
My guests and I enjoyed the food--particularly the grilled fish--and the atmosphere. Thank you for sitting us in the booth in the back where the noise level is lower.
Everything ordered for our party of 4 was excellent. We all shared the appetizers and bites of the entrees, delighting in the flavors. Portions were generous, yet we all found room for the desserts. Will surely visit again when the occasion arises. It's worth noting that this is a rather expensive place, although the food does merit the prices.
EXCELLENT server, EXCELLENT food. We will definitely go back!
My only issue is that I called twice to make sure they acknowledged our friends who got engaged but the message was never passed on to the waiter and nothing was done. I was disappointed with that.
