Could’ve been an amazing experience, the food was great and the space overall is a vibe. However service did fall short. We made a reservation and it ended up being at the bar which is no big deal since it was last minute. However there was only one bartender for the whole venue and his service wasn’t that great because he was the only one there trying to make drinks and didn’t really have enough time to greet us properly. In hindsight it could’ve been worse, would definitely give this place another chance as the food didn’t disappoint.

The vibe and atmosphere was amazing!! Tables a little too close and little for the food but whatever. But the food was terrible, spinach dip tasted like butter with no actual spinach, even our wings were terrible we literally ate one each. Best thing were the fries! Oh, and the flavoring of lemon drops for happy hour is an extra $2, but waiter didn’t communicate that until bill came and we asked. Waiter told manager about spinach dip and she took $2 off bill😂. This photo is our food barely touched. I never mind tipping but of course 20% was added to our bill automatically which def wasn’t deserved but whatever.

I love coming here and will be back! My only consistent complaint is with the bar service. While that will never stop me from supporting a black owned business I do wish the drinks were consistent and timely. I’ve had several instances where my drinks were just not good overall.

The food was really good. We had the BBQ Wings and the cajun rub wings, and the spinach dip during happy hour, then ordered the salmon for dinner. The salmon could have used a little more seasoning, but that dud not prevent me from eating all of it. My friend had the side of mac and cheese and it was GREAT!!!!!!!! Would definitely come here agsin

Run don’t walk! To start, at brunch, they don’t offer Bloody Marys.. I thought my bad, I didn’t do my due-diligence. Asked for recommendations, bar tender really couldn’t provide any. I love shrimp & grits, so that’s what I ordered. BLAND. No seasoning or flavor! Service was slow, for me at least. For the rest of the women that walked up to the bar, the bartender made sure to get to them quickly and spend lots of time flirting! Wouldn’t go back. Wouldn’t recommend!

The server took notes for someone asking for sauce and bacon on the side. It did not come in the side. We waited awhile inbetween drinks and food. The food 3 of us had was average - at best. The pancakes and biscuits were mad fire though!

Service was top notch. Alcoholic drinks were excellent. Deviled egg appetizer was bland and definitely not worth $5 for 1/2 egg. Oxtails on grits was good - gravy was too thick and oxtails too fatty and small. Grits were perfect. Cajun shrimp with noodles were not worth it. Shrimp were too salty while the noodles were undercooked and there was no “ kick” in the sauce

I had the shrimp and grits. It was good but I noticed everyone’s plates weren’t consistent. I was there for a birthday party, so it was big group. People would order the same thing and some people got way less food than others. Some food tasted good others were lack luster. Mind you, these are the same dishes. The wait staff was cool as hell, but slow. Ultimately I had fun, but idk if it’s run it back type of situation.
