Expensive dinner for very mediocre food. Had to ask 3x for lemon in my iced tea. Bussers broke a glass behind us and slammed dishes on tables nearby. Martini was not good. Atmosphere and view was great. We wont be back for dinners

FAQs

Yes, Everett’s operates on many holiday occasions (guests report dining there for Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Eve, Mother’s Day and Easter brunch). However, holiday nights are frequently busy and can cause long waits or modified service, so make reservations well in advance and confirm holiday hours when booking.

Everett’s has a warm, upscale-casual atmosphere, cozy interior decor (antler chandeliers, Alaskan photos) with beautiful lake and mountain views. Guests describe it as romantic and lively: great for celebrations, anniversaries and family dinners. Expect upbeat nights with live music or events at times, and a relaxed vibe during early or midweek dining. Noise can rise when large parties or holiday events are happening.

Busiest: weekend evenings and major holidays/special events (Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Eve, holiday brunches) and when private parties are booked, guests report long waits on those nights. Quietest: early brunch and midweek evenings or early dinner seatings (around opening times), when service is quicker and the dining room is calmer.

Yes, the staff often accommodates special requests. Guests report the team arranging anniversary notes/complimentary desserts, seating preferences and accommodations for hearing or other needs. Because they host private parties and celebrations, calling ahead to note requests (birthday, anniversary, dietary needs or seating preferences) is recommended to ensure the best experience.

Yes, during busy times (holidays, Valentine’s, New Year’s, large private events) guests report delays and that reservations can be delayed or routed to overflow seating. The restaurant has used overflow café or patio setups and sometimes experiences long waits. It’s wise to arrive early, confirm your reservation, and be prepared for possible delays on peak nights.

Midweek is often the best choice, Wednesday through Thursday evenings or weekday brunches tend to be less crowded and provide quicker, more attentive service. Several guests specifically enjoyed early weekday visits and midweek brunch for a relaxed experience. Weekends are lovely for views and atmosphere but expect busier service.

Everett’s posts set hours with separate brunch, happy hour and dinner times. Current hours list: Tue 4:00 pm–9:00 pm; Brunch Wed–Sun 11:00 am–3:00 pm; Happy Hour Wed–Sun 3:00 pm–4:00 pm; Dinner Wed–Sat 4:00 pm–10:00 pm and Sun 4:00 pm–9:00 pm. It’s a good idea to confirm hours before you visit, as holiday or special-event hours may vary.

Portions at Everett’s are generally described as generous and satisfying. Guests note good-sized entrees, from steak cuts to halibut, and shareable appetizers like scallops or calamari. Several guests specifically praised portion size and quality for steaks, fish and sides, so you can expect a hearty, restaurant-style serving consistent with fine casual dining.

Smart casual is the recommended dress code. Everett’s balances a fine-dining feel with a relaxed atmosphere, so guests often dress up a bit for special occasions like anniversaries or date nights. Comfortable, neat attire is appropriate, think collared shirts, nice blouses or casual dresses.

Yes, Everett’s accepts private parties and hosts events. Reviews mention large private events that can impact regular service flow, and the owner-provided info lists private-party capability. If you’re planning a private event, contact the restaurant to discuss room options, capacity and menu choices.

Yes, families do dine at Everett’s and guests bring children for birthdays, Easter brunch and family dinners. There are kid-friendly menu options reported (kids’ chicken strips mentioned) and a relaxed terrace for families in good weather. If visiting with young children, consider an early seating or call ahead to confirm accommodations and seating that works for families.

Yes, Everett’s offers outdoor/terrace seating with lake views. Many guests mention dining on the deck or patio overlooking Wasilla Lake and enjoying sunset views; the terrace is a popular choice in good weather. If you prefer outdoor seating, request it when you reserve, especially on summer weekends when patio spots fill up fast.

Yes, Everett’s is a popular choice for date night. Guests frequently praise the romantic lakefront views, cozy dining room and sunset seating on the terrace. The menu focuses on chef-driven Alaskan seafood and prime American steaks, paired with craft cocktails and an extensive wine list. For a relaxed, special-occasion vibe, request a window table at sunset and consider reserving ahead, especially on weekends and holiday evenings.

For a quieter, more relaxed visit, aim for early seating, around opening/brunch times or early-dinner reservations (e.g., 5:00–6:00 pm on weekdays). Guests report that midweek and early evenings are calmer and service tends to be quicker. Avoid major holidays and special-event nights if you want a peaceful dinner, since those evenings can be very busy and sometimes cause long waits.
