Excellent, outstanding food and service, highly recommend

Great place to eat, staff was outstanding!!!! Their fresh shrimp was really good too.

The salad bar items I tasted were fresh and flavorful. I ate the grilled shrimp which was good. My guest enjoyed the meats especially the Kobe beef! A special shout out for the very clean restroom!!

We've been to nearly every Brazilian Grill in Houston, and this one is BY FAR our favorite. The meats are juicy, fresh, and delicious. If your preferred cook level is not available on their skewer, they'll go get it for you. They pass by frequently with new choices or will send over your selection quickly. The salad bar has more variety than others in the same market. And that grilled pineapple is OVER THE TOP!

Celebrating a birthday. They were out of filet mignon. Really? It’s a steak restaurant. Very disappointing to say the least. However, with that said,I’m sure it was an isolated issue and will return. The other meats were quite nice.

Great experience every time we’ve been. Probably 10 times in last 12 months. Kobe Texas beef is killer! As is the picanha. Salad bar is tremendous. Staff always concerned with tryout experience.

Food was good service was slow unfortunately. I have been to several steakhouses and I felt it took a while for the food to be brought out.

I made a reservation for Valentines Day, and my husband and I, absolutely loved this place! The food, ambiance and service was exceptional! We will most definitely be coming back again! Special shout out to waiter, Marcelino! He was so attentive, and made us feel so welcomed!

Food and service is always good, however they were out of some types of meat. This is the first time we have experienced this.

The Vintage Gauchos never disappoints us. Salad bar has delectable selections for those persons who judge a restaurant by their salad presentation. Personally, I could just eat the bacon, which is outstanding. The real star of the restaurant, besides the great men who are serving table-side, is the MEAT! Regardless of the cut and the meat, it is all tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! My personal favorite? Lamb chops! The only way to eat them is with your fingers. Those perfectly charred bones are a great complement to the tender meat! Save room for dessert. Much time and attention goes into the preparation of each selection. We love to take our friends to Gauchos for the first time. They are all favorably impressed. Yes, Gauchos is our favorite restaurant.

We love having this restaurant so close to home! The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. Great spot for a quick date night when the kids are away.

Guest eating inside the restaurant wouldn’t wear masks while going to the rest room and or the salad bar. Also, at the salad bar instead of having en employees serve the salad. Everyone inside was able to use the salad tongs to serve their own food. I think they can improve on the COVID restrictions.

Service was excellent on a Wednesday evening. Ordered two drinks which were somewhat weak, one tasted like pure lime juice. All meats were good but maybe not as well seasoned as other similar restaurants in the Houston area.

Wife’s Birthday

We were not impressed. The service was very slow and we had to ask several times for our drinks as they forgot to bring them, we waited so long for certain items of food that we gave up and decided to end our dinner early. When it was time for the bill, several employees passed by us without even a glance in our direction and once again had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come by for us to flag down for our bill. Food was very undercooked, Bisque was very watery, and overall it was just a very bad dining experience. I think we will just keep going to Chamagaucha where everything has always been Top Notch Service.

The food, service, and elegant atmosphere was outstanding, well for a Sunday afternoon. Would recommend it if your looking for a Brazilian Steak house, kind of pricey

We wanted to try this place since it was close to our home. We were highly disappointed with the sliver of meat we would get and had to keep asking for them to bring more food. But believe me they were quick to ask if I wanted more cocktails but when the servers would come by with the meat selections I would ask for an additional piece of meat they would tell me that they have to go and get more meat and then go off to another table. It got to the point I was taking rare meat just so I could get what I paid for. The salad bar had a wide variety selection of food which was great, but for the same price I will go back to my other Brazilian restaurants where I get more food, servers come by more without having to keep asking and better service. We went to celebrate our anniversary and left very disappointed that we order a cake to go and went home.

We are big fans of Brazilian all you can eat, we decided to try Gauchos Do Sul for the first time the other night with our three kids (5,10,14). Throughly satisfied with all the cuts of meat, salad bar and desserts. Needless to say we came we ate our fill and left happy and repeat customers

The service as this establishment was outstanding with an incredible level of detail and effort. Our needs were not only met but anticipated, without it being invasive. Food was also exceptional, high quality cuts of meat and lots of variety in the salad bar, with many of my favorites featured that I would expect from a Brazilian restaurant.

Decided to go out on New Year’s Eve for dinner. Restaurant was okay. I have had better Brazilian restaurants. Not the best restaurant to go to for COVID reasons. They have a buffet with a box of gloves which half of the people wore gloves. Watched people’s, not intentionally, clothing touch the food as they served themselves.

Also, the tradition of this type restaurant brings different kind of meats to your table. Everyone of them placed the meat not 12” from my face. I watched this from table to table. So I said not COVID safe recommend.
