Glass Brasserie - Hilton Sydney
Whether you come to dine with friends, family or someone special your dining experience will be nothing short of unique with Sydney’s finest Australian produce with an Asian inspiration, exquisite décor and superior service.
Always amazing. Steak Tarta amazing best I have ever had
Bottomless breakfast not value for money, very limited options in breakfast and nothing like signature dishes, very standard routine breakfast items.
High expectations let down by the food.
My ribeye was a huge disappointment, being unevenly cooked, medium rare, was OK at edges, raw in centre, and too much gristle, which made it a mission to cut through. Vegetables were OK, but the plate of fries were merely warm and had been standing for some time before served.
Partners barramundi was pleasant but not up to standard expected here.
Price too high in the circumstances.
Wonderful meal and service. Really enjoyed our dining experience.
Amazing food, great friendly waiter.
We were very happy with our first time experience, will definitely be back 😋
We were celebrating my wife's birthday. We haven't dined here for quite some time due to living overseas. The evening was extremely pleasing - good food, outstanding service, and great company.
Always a wonderful dining experience here with great service
I was not happy with the waiter that served me who seems inpatient as he was taking our order and he seems unhappy when accepting our payment despite appropriate tips has been allocated.
excellent food (stake) and good services however had really poor house wine.
We managed to get a last minute booking for a Saturday night which was great as was the food. Main serving sizes are generous as are the sides. They appeared to have a large corporate function on so the service and time between courses was slow. Despite this we had a lovely evening
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We would love to dine there again.
If you like buffet breakfast - this one is for you! Fantastic location location as well!
Average, very happy experience. To celebrate a colleague birthday. Good foods, good services, excellent seats location, i.e. Windows seat table no.46.
Not our first time visit. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
Food was excellent. I had one of the steaks, which was perfect. One of our party had the lamb, which I tried and also thought excellent. The desserts were also very good, and there is an exceptional wine list. Possibly we were left to sit for slightly long before our food orders were taken initially, but the service was generally very very good. All the party agreed it was an excellent meal.
While the food was good & service very attentive, the seating was not as comfortable as expected. Sitting on a bench seat along a wall with a couple sitting very close by ... also on the bench along the wall... (And who were an having intense conversation) Also some very loud groups of diners. Guess I had expected a cosy environment... more conducive to a fine dining experience.
Beautiful in every way. The food and the wine were perfect!
Beautiful food. Great location and surrounds. I am going to revisit. This is a wonderful fine dining menu
Very enjoyable night, food was great and really like the booth seating. I quite like having "elbow room" and this is available in abundance.
food is nice, but clearly out dated. for one of Sydney's leading restaurants, it was an overall disappointing experience. Normally for the price we paid we would expect a much more thought out gastronomic concept and experience to be delivered. Instead we received a relatively average takes on meals that would have been popular 5-6 years ago. Moreover, the produce, wasn't even particularly outstanding.
my best guess would suggest that the price is all for the location.
Additionally, while the staff meant well, there was a lot of disorganization; forgotten wines, disjointed English, asking for things repeatedly.
This experience is perfect for cashed up guests of the Hilton, with a minimal understanding of gastronomy.
We enjoyed the entire meal. The standout being the share Duck plate, cooked to perfection with the puree fruits a true complement to the Duck's flavor. We chose a bottle of Austrian red with the Duck in mind from the extensive wine menu. Definitely and easy establishment to recommend.
Great atmosphere for fine dining, I enjoyed drinks and cocktails but the food was average
We waited for our steak for one hour which is ridiculous. The steak was one of the worse steak I’ve ever eaten it was tasteless.
Service was great, but the food was a little disappointing.
Food is excellent - one minor issue - not enough sauce/consommé with some dishes. Ambience is great and service is great.
Great value for money!
Perfect food and service. One of Sydney’s best restaurants.
Wonderful restaurant! Superb food and service and atmosphere.
Celebrating a special milestone birthday, my friend and I spent the morning at Elysium Spa and then had lunch at Glass Brasserie. What a lovely experience. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and generous. The restaurant is just gorgeous and very comfortable. A wonderful day out.
Superb textures, tastes and presentation. Love it
Will be back for more
We received a gift voucher and were keen to dine here. We took our 8 year old daughter also. This place was lovely. Great atmosphere and all interactions with staff were amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!
Just a wonderful night at Glass! Food was absolutely first class and as this was our first visit to Glass I can say there will be more!
Fantastic value and great venue! Really enjoyed the food and ambience.
Good food( not brilliant ) and service but very over priced for what you get .
Glass has been one of my favourite special-occasion restaurants for years and was always outstanding, so I was hugely disappointed with my recent meal. The grilled prawn entree was great - perfectly cooked and lovely balance of fresh flavours. The gnocchi - a signature dish I always look forward to - was heavy in texture and for some reason had baby corn instead of cob-corn and so the whole thing tasted like a bland stir-fry. My friend had the crab omelette, which was tasty the first couple of bites, but the flavours were so intense that she found it a struggle to get through - not what she was hoping for from delicate fresh crab. The worst was a side dish of eggplant with white bean and tamarind: the grilled eggplant was dry, the bean mash did nothing to lift it and the tamarind sauce tasted more like a highly concentrated vegetable stock with such strong celery (?) notes that I couldn't get the unpleasant flavour out of my mouth hours later. We left most of this. My (Indian) friend and I love asian flavours, fresh produce and interesting new dishes, but there was something seriously amiss in the kitchen on Monday night. Great wine, atmosphere and service as usual, however with such a high price point we found our dinner poor value. I'm sad to say that I won't be back to Glass.
Service has dropped and not to the five star standard it should be
Staff acted like they had better things to do than serve us
It was a delightful way to spend a morning - mostly the food was good quality, the juice bar was excellent, the vegetarian options were appreciated. Not including proper coffee in the $45 feels wrong - there's no way we could eat more than about $35 each fo food, so including good coffee is important. The restaurant and ambience were lovely.
Incredible food. Simply beautiful and what a divine atmosphere. We will be back soon.
We visit regularly. Having been longtime Luke Mangan fans from his Salt days in Darlinghurst, it is nice to be able to eat at Glass. We love the fact that parking is easy, we book online and get a discount. The restaurant to never too noisy and the food is great.
Always like dining here, great surrounds, lovely food and attentive service which was a bit patchy on this occasion but still a very enjoyable evening
It was a fantastic experience the food is of a high standard so was the staff there is nothing I can find to fault this fine establishment
The restaurant is stunning. No matter where they seat you, the view is of the beautiful Victoria building across the street through the multi story glass walls of the restaurant. The service was impeccable. Our fish was perfectly cooked though the entree was on the small side. The bar which connects to the lounge area also has the same stunning view of the Classic Victoria building. This place is worth a visit!
