It was really nice, but the noise level was very loud. Crowds of people would stand near your table and have a conversation instead of going to plenty of empty tables/seats to take there conversation elsewhere.

I visited this establishment alone and, unfortunately, never had the opportunity to try the food despite having a reservation. Upon arrival, I was informed that the kitchen had already closed and no additional orders would be taken. Accepting reservations without the ability to serve guests is a fundamental breakdown in operations and communication. The environment itself is inconsistent. Portions of the space are loud and chaotic, while others are quiet, with no clear separation or flow. It creates a disjointed and confusing atmosphere. More concerning was the service. The interaction was unwelcoming and dismissive. In the service industry, professionalism and impartial treatment are not optional, they are the baseline. That standard was not met. I cannot speak to the quality of the food, but based on the experience alone, I will not return or spend money here. If there is any priority for improvement, it should start with guest reception, communication, and accountability.

My husband and I had a great time! We would definitely go again. We really Dug the Ambience! The staff was AMAZING, Especially our Waitress ⭐️. The DJ was pretty good, although was apparent toward the end of the night that he was repeating songs (he played “Yeah” 3xs) and began playing songs that were geared towards getting OFF the dance floor before midnight (beginning about 11:15 even). Immediately after 12:00am, there was a very odd occurrence of us being directed to the alleyway to view fireworks on Pikes Peak that were not visible from the Alley 🧐. When we all returned, the entire place was almost broken down. My (only half empty) drink that I paid for was picked up 🙁. We did not realize that the party was going to stop so abruptly. I feel that we were directed to the alleyway as a diversion so they could start breaking things down. Usually a ‘New Years Eve Party’ will to “Rev up” after 12 o’clock, using the excitement of the toast. The end if the night was very abrupt and unexpected. At minimum some type of announcements could’ve been made. They served great cocktails. We got a grown-up “sack lunch” at 11:00pm, which I thought was the kind of cool idea, but the burger and fries were not great. The burger was pretty crispy, and it had mayo on it (should’ve been offered on the side). I would still say that the sack was a good idea but the evening price was 100 per person so I expected better food. I’ve never eaten the Mining Exchange before, so I would still give them a try for a regular chef ordered meal.

We had a great experience at the Golden Hour. It is a neat atmosphere with comfy couches and chairs. They had a man playing jazz. The small plates were delicious and they had a full bar with creative cocktails. The service at the bar was 5 star!
