This is a great fish restaurant with an incredible offering of different fish choices and preparation opportunities. The sides are delicious especially the shrimp empanadas. Great fish sauces

Mesquite oysters were the best we ever had and we come from New Orleans. Fish was fresh and outstanding. Waiter was tentative, Pinot Grigio was excellent. Highly recommend.

I have loved this place for a long time now. The food is outstanding, and mostly consists of local Gulf seafood dishes. I also love the railcar diner feel...so much fun!

We have eaten at this restaurant since the 80's. Quality is consistently excellent. All seafood is impeccably fresh and they really know how to cook it. I highly recommend anything mesquite grilled; that's the wonderful aroma that greets you as soon as you step out of your car. It is their speciality and it is delicious. Our recent visit happily coincided with green beans and new potatoes day, my favorite of the rotating veg; if, on the other hand, you arrive in the mood for french fries, theirs are glorious. They provide ketchup, but it would be a sin to use it. My grilled snapper and husband's grilled redfish were both exemplary. This restaurant has been around for a long time now, and it's easy to see why.

The food and service are both excellent.

The 50's Diner decor is a little informal, considering the menu. It was also quite loud, even though we chose a very early reservation, and the restaurant was not even half-full. I think that is back to the 50's diner design with all the hard surfaces, tile floors, etc. None of these things are deal-killers and we will be back!

First timer. We were there for a birthday with a large crew. Food was really tasty!

Started out well until the waiter seem to get annoyed with us. We asked to substitute pasta for rice and they said they would do it do it for a $8 upgrade. Which we did not do. Other table came in and it just got hard for us to get his attention after that. The food was overpriced for what you got and at least two out of five of us did not like their food. I would not go back. It was definitely not exceptional and not what I expected.

Absolutely the best seafood ever!! The corn crab poblano bisque was amazing. The fried shrimp, oysters, and fish were so lightly breaded and yet had that wonderful cornmeal flavor. Margaritas are outstanding!! Our waiter Nick took such good care of us. It was a real treat. We will be back!! In fact we can't wait.

I have been coming to Goode Seafood for over 15 years and it has been one of my highest recommended and quintessential Houston restaurant to my friends.

That being said, I was disappointed at the level of social distancing with the tables. I don't mind paying the extra COVID 5% to support new measures. I love you guys and gladly do so.

However, when I dined there on Wednesday night, I saw two large 6-7 parties sitting right in front of the main entrance. In additional, there seemed to be just as many tables back to back around the bar area.

While I know you guys are testing and are making efforts, I encourage you to take additional steps and limit / separate the tables you currently offer for dine in service. Until then, I can only consider Goode for take out and cannot recommend your amazing restaurant to anyone until we reach a new normal with COVID.

Food was very bland. Would not recommend the yellow fin tuna.

Worst service experience in 20 years at this location. Sat at the bar and had to ask 3 times for my drink. Had to ask another 3 time for my check. There was wait staff behind the bar chatting it up. Even hear one drop the “f bomb” rather loudly. My eyes popped up because I could not believe what I was hearing. The food, as always was exceptional. However at this price point plus the added fee, they need to step up their game. I am sue we will go back, but it will be a long time.

Undercooked fish. Not enough staff. Close if you’re not able to open.

We ate at Goode Co. Seafood early Friday night before returning to College Station. We chose this restaurant based on experiences over many and many years and were so comfortable. Under the Covid fog we were concerned about eating in Houston and our experience made our fears absolutely needless. The dinner was excellent. Thank you
