Had to wait 20 minutes for our reservation, but that isn’t the worst - it’s a busy day for dining out. My only real issue is how tight the seating is in the restaurant. When you are cooking at the table, you need more room, especially in the time of Covid. Yet the tables are on the smaller side even if we weren’t grilling food there. It will make us think twice on ever visiting again on a weekend or a holiday while it is busy. For $50/person before drinks, we shouldn’t be able to feed our neighbor. Food (and our waiter) was excellent, though.

Even with prior reservation, had to wait to 15+ mins for our table. Then we were given a table that was dirty -- with oil splatters and pieces of meat. The front guy hastily wiped it but left unsatisfactorily dirty, we had to call him back to wipe it again and remove the crumbs/pieces of meat left by previous customers. For the $$$ we pay for this restaurant, such service and level of cleanliness is utterly unacceptable.

Was the first time visiting. Very good food. Atmosphere was also very good, only recommendation is find a way for it to not be so hot in there with the heat from the grill plus sitting in close proximity of other guests it was way hot in there!!

The clerk at the reception counter was the worst. We arrived 30 minutes earlier than scheduled and was told that we could not be shown to our table until our reservation time, even though there were plenty of empty seats in the restaurant. We accessed OpenTable and modified my reservation 15 minutes earlier, and despite being confirmed, they were not responsive at all. On that occasion, too, we were treated with a completely terrible attitude. The waitress who manned our table was very nice, so that was the only saving grace.

The truth, the food was very very good, only that something appeared in the rice, a small thread with what was washed on the grill. We inform them to be more careful next time because my husband and I went with our children. They told us that they would give us 10% OFF which they did not add but we gladly paid the bill, the service was excellent too. Just be more careful

We never done a Japanese grill before so we choose this as our date night. Service was wonderful. A lot of food as well. We did the meat lovers option. Wasn’t disappointed. Definitely will go back again

Our server was great! She was Busy but very attentive. We were just with our family of 4. After 2 hours of being there-the hostess came up and told us it was time for leave. We were not sitting around chatting. We were constantly eating and cooking our food. I’m sorry that you overbooked your reservations, but to come up to a family and ask them to leave is unacceptable. My kids walked out eating their s’mores because we couldn’t finish them. Very disappointed. This was our first time there and not sure we’ll go back because with the price we paid, we shouldn’t be asked to leave while we’re still eating.

We went there for my birthday and we ordered a large platter of meats since there was 3 of us. We ordered the amount for 4 people. We were told that they were out of the filet mignon and substituted a lesser quality meat. Months later, we took our son there for his birthday. Surprise - they were again out of the filet mignon and wanted to substitute for a different beef. They brought us sirloin that had so much fat on it that you couldn't see much meat on it. We asked if we could get a different cut of meat. Our server said no but then the manager came. He said he would only change out one of the platter of the fatty sirloins and it was another really fatty meat. One of the the people at our table thought they brought us bacon because that's exactly what it looked like, but it wasn't bacon. Honestly, we didn't even ask for beef. We would have been happy with chicken. It seems suspicious that they again were out of filet mignon and then made a poor substitute. They also did not bring out a birthday dessert for my son like they did for me. The server never asked if we wanted more to drink than what he originally brought us. We will not be back.

Our server was very attentive to our needs. It was our first time there. There were many options on the menu which was slightly overwhelming but love the variety. We should asked our server for her recommendations but the meat lovers for 2 was pretty good. Probably would go again to try more appetizers and entrees.

Overall pretty nice, but I didn't like how we chose the courses and they didn't tell us some meat weren't available and had to substitute. I couldn't even substitute some soups that cost the same and they told me that upfront but didn't tell us about meat until they brought it up. I would not recommend my friends to get the course plates at least.

Understaffed. Felt like an inconvenience. Waited 10 minutes before we were approached. Never asked if we wanted any refills or another drink. Grills need to be cleaned as ours was charred leaving the meat with a thick charred taste. For the money we spent, I would have expected much better service. Will not be back.
